Creekside Cabin—Converted woodshop w/creek, fire pit & pavilion. Close to town

Creekside Cabin is a beautifully converted wood shop & lumber barn that is cozy, spacious & private. Nestled at the edge of the woods on our five acres, it's just minutes to everything Chattanooga has to offer! Upstairs is a spacious queen bedroom and full bath. The Italian-made modular staircase is similar to a "ships ladder" with alternating treads (see photos), and may not be appropriate for those that are physically challenged. Downstairs is a living area with comfy furniture, Smart TV with provided Netflix, and a well equipped kitchen and dining area. Relax on the covered wrap-around deck and enjoy the sounds of the creek, birds, squirrels and deer.

In addition to the cabin itself, guests at Creekside also have full access to some shared spaces. Just outside the cottage is a beautiful timber-frame pavilion. It's an incredible space with a full chef's kitchen, 36" gas range, 10' dining bar, 12' hand-built farm table, wood-fired oven, huge professional charcoal grill/smoker, plenty of seating, fans, chandeliers, and lots of character!

Alongside the cabin and pavilion, guests will enjoy sounds of the creek cascading down the hillside as it wraps around the spacious fire pit area landscaped with huge mountain boulders.

Micheal and Paula were the perfect hosts! The cabin was spotless! We had all of the amenities you could ask for. We enjoyed our private deck and outdoor fire pit and the homemade pizzas you both prepared for us on our last night were amazing along with the company! Thank you Michael and Paula for a great stay and for being so accommodating on our extended stay. We will be back!

We had a great long weekend here! It was close enough to downtown Chattanooga to visit the aquarium, go to a few restaurants, and visit all the city has to offer. We also were able to stay around the property one day and enjoy the nature, the firepit and the wrap around porch. Everything was super clean and cozy. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for letting us stay on your property!

Amazing little getaway!

The Creekside Cabin was great place to stay! It was peaceful and relaxing and the cabin is well kept and very comfortable. The fireplace is amazing and we enjoyed sitting outside listening to the creek. The property is well kept and beautiful! The owners answered all of our questions and we enjoyed chatting with them during our visit. Highly recommend!

Lovely Stay

Great Property - Definitely Recommend!

We had a great time! The cottage was perfect and while close to the owner's home, there was plenty of privacy. We had a nice visit with the owners around the campfire. We will definitely stay there again when in the Chattanooga area!

Fantastic get away trip

Weather was perfect, owners of the property were friendly and very nice to visit with. The cottage was fantastic, wonderful workmanship and extremely clean. Quiet and private or sociable if you wanted, the owners were extremely inviting to visit with and made you feel like family.

Beautiful Stay Near Chattanooga

My boyfriend and I loved getting away from the city and staying at Creekside. The outdoor amenities were what drew us to this property, and they did not disappoint. We spent most of our time on the porch enjoying the peaceful scenery and hum of the wildlife. We were ecstatic to use the wood fired oven which the owners assisted us with and we all shared a delicious dinner outside on our last night at the property. We are looking forward to visiting again!

Great anniversary trip

Michael and Paula of the Pines Cottage are excellent hosts! From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome and at home in the property. The cottage is beautiful and has everything we needed and the outside amenities are next level. This is a great place to enjoy peace and quiet while also being within short distance of downtown Chattanooga. I highly recommend this stay.

Beautiful small cottage

We loved staying there while we celebrated our anniversary. This home is so beautiful, cozy and relaxing. It is also close to downtown Chattanooga, which was very convenient. We didn't get a chance to meet the hosts, but they were very attentive and quick to respond to any questions we had via message.

Quality craftsmanship

The Pines is created with quality and uniqueness in mind. We enjoyed our stay very much. The grounds were beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting by the creek and and on the deck relaxing. The owners offered wonderful hospitality and accommodations. We will stay there again.

If you stop to look at this property, just go ahead and book it. We had the best time at this adorable and peaceful cabin. Short drive to town but still out in the country. Definitely made our stay in Chattanooga much more comfortable than a basic hotel. Well worth every penny spent!

Wonderful place

Wonderful stay, great hosts. Suggest the narrative mention the narrow steep stairway to the bedroom/bathroom. While the stairs would amuse and intrigue most, some might for ability or temperamental reasons want to avoid this property.

We live on the property, and love meeting people from around the country (and the globe). We are passionate about hosting our guests and hosting events. In addition to cabin rentals, we have hosted weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate events and more. We even host concerts for professional touring musicians. We also enjoy cooking...especially wood-fired pizza!...and often include food/catering in our event packages. Ask about our concert schedule, or planning your event at The Pines!
