Nice size, plenty of space, 1 if the rooms had no power in the light or outlets but overall great time. Used the fire pit and played games and puzzle.

Very secluded

The property is perfect for a big family looking to stay together. It was nice to have the kids be outside/inside and not worry about being too loud. One of the safest places I have stayed at. The house is very spacious. It felt very homey and had everything we needed. If ever need to come back to this area, I would definitely stay again

There was no river as the AD stated so our guest didn'tcome to join us because we all wanted to go fishing The AD is very misleading and I paid for extra people and it was only 2 of us there

Private and Relaxing

Our whole family enjoyed our stay at this home. The area was very private, quiet and relaxing. We were able to spend time both inside and outside around the firepit, BBQing, playing games, etc. Overall a fun weekend of making memories with our family.

Nice, quiet getaway!

Kids enjoyed playing in the dirt, hiking, looking at the stars. We enjoyed quiet nights and coffee on the porch. Property was exactly as stated if not better. Owner was very helpful and responded to all emails.

Enjoyed our stay

We really enjoyed the house and are thankful to the homeowner for offering it. The management company on the other hand…ehh. Please, read every detail in the mile long email you will get from them after booking the house. I must admit , I missed a lot of the information I needed and took the wrong route yo the house from the interstate and was left on the porch in a driving rain, unable to get in or get the access code. Verizon cellular does not work there m, but even after calling from my son’s TMobile phone 4 times they never answered. Why list a contact number if you don’t answer? We laughed about it days later going through the original emails from 9 months prior, all the information needed was in those, but I wasn’t laughing that day. Take it from me…have all your details about checkin BEFORE you leave the interstate.

Grammas funeral

We had family come from all over to celebrate the passing of our gramma. The house was perfect. 14 of us. 10 adults 4 children. Plenty of beds. The best part was the fire pit, which the owners prepared for us and was ready to go! We loved being able to all be together under one roof!! Cooking meals and the kithcen was supplied well. Would definitely recommend families to experience this wonderful home!!

Masters guests staying

Very clean and nice place to stay. About a gory minute drive to Augusta. The house is in a remote area but easy access from Rt20. The beds are comfortable. Missed seeing the final basketball game on Monday as we couldn’t get local channels on the Satalite connection. Great utilities and air cooling System.

Wonderful home

We were a group of parents and teens running a Spartan Race in Newberry. We wanted a place that all of use could stay together. It was an easy drive to Newberry from the house and we were fine with driving an hr each way. House was very clean. Host is very responsive to messages. The # of bedrooms/beds was great. The owner also provided us with a great recommendation for a pizza place in town that everyone loved! Would highly recommend this house and would stay there again if the opportunity arouse.

Big Family vacation

This is a beautiful home. We had 13 people on our vacation ages 50 to 7 years old and we all fit perfectly. Enjoying our mornings on the porch was beautiful. This is an older home so there were some cracks and scratches around. All appliances worked and the kitchen was fully stocked. We were surprised how deep in the woods we were but us city people really loved exploring the woods around the house. Our kids had so much fun gathering sticks and pine needles for our evening fires. We will definitely come back but for now we made great family memories.

Soaring Competition

We found the house was clean and as advertised. The kitchen is well equipped but an electric kettle would be a nice addition. Modern laundry appliances. The WiFi and internet connection worked great (fast). The door lock is operated by a physical key (we only had one available) which is problematic if there is more than one party. A code lock would be a significant improvement. The host requires a copy of the renter’s drivers licence by email. If this is a problem for you, better discuss with the host before you make any payments

Explore the forest, go for a hike, kayak the river, or simply sit on the porch sipping a rich, hot cup of coffee or a cool, refreshing glass of iced tea and enjoy the beauty and peace while watching wild game - deer, turkey, rabbits, etc. dance and frolic as if to entertain you. Beautiful, 2 story, 4 bed, 3 bath home nestled on a large, rustic 10.5 acre estate. This is country living at its finest with plenty of room for a large family or for entertaining. Though surrounded by nature, you are convenient to shopping, with easy access to interstate 20 as well as Hwy 39 and 178. Centrally located between Columbia, SC and Augusta, GA with a short drive to each. Ideal lodging for the Masters Golf Tournament.
