Comfy, Scenic, & Stocked to Perfection

We had such a wonderful stay at this property! The home is absolutely beautiful, spacious, and thoughtfully designed for guests. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the wide variety of games, books, and family-friendly activities available—there’s truly something for everyone. Instructions for using amenities were clearly posted throughout the house, which made everything easy to navigate.One of the standout features was the little workstation/art space, which was a lovely touch for anyone needing a quiet moment to create or get some work done. The views of the lake are stunning and really added to the relaxing atmosphere.The master bedroom and bathroom felt like a private retreat—luxurious and super comfortable. As a coffee lover, I especially appreciated the multiple coffee makers and a great selection of coffee options. The wall of spices was a fun bonus for cooking meals at home.We also found a desk stocked with restaurant info, coupons, and a full rack of local pamphlets, which made planning outings so much easier. This home really goes above and beyond to anticipate guest needs. Would definitely recommend to families, couples, or friend groups looking for a peaceful and well-equipped getaway!

My family and I had a wonderful experience over the holidays. The owners were very responsive. They asked if we wanted Christmas decorations for the holidays and made the house look very festive. I would return.

Central location

Way more decor than we are comfortable with; artificial plants and nicknack’s on every surface. No pots and pans, only electric appliances. Very Christian sayings on walls and large mirrors everywhere. That said, the shower and tub were great, plenty of towels and any necessity we forgot was there in spades. Excellent location for our purposes, though turning left onto the main road was tricky. Best for old/fashioned folks who don’t mind clutter and don’t plan to cook.

Visiting Daughter Who Attends CSU

The place was clean and comfortable. I rented this property because of the lakefront views that were advertised. When we arrived there really wasn't any water at our end of the lake because they are working on the dam. We were notified of this the day before our stay (still not totally clear how "low" it was). We later found out this has been an issue for a couple of months. We would have chosen to stay closer to our daughter's apartment if we had know. However, it is roomy, clean and comfortable - just felt it is being falsely advertised at this time. I am sure it is really amazing when the water is up.

Parents weekend

I booked this property because of the lake view. It was further from campus but looked so pretty. When we arrived there was no lake. We weren’t told about this until the day before our visit. It was SO disappointing. Also the front bedroom has a lot of traffic noise which we didn’t expect. The kitchen leaves much to be desired if you plan on cooking. Knives pots and pans could all be updated and serving platters were scarce. I would’ve enjoyed this much more if I’d been able to enjoy the beautiful view that was promised. That being said.the home is nicely kept and lots of sitting areas.

Cozy, comfortable, close to everything

Very cozy, well stocked, clean home. Beautiful back yard located on the lake (which was quite dry during my stay but still beautiful back yard views) Susan was super nice and accommodating. Unbelievably well stocked…from the pantry and spices to the welcome goodie bowl and even a basket of kids toys so when my grandson came over for a sleepover he enjoyed all the “new” things to play with! Would definitely stay again! Downside it does have a lot of stairs and road noise was noticeable … especially on the weekend but if you’re going to be close to everything I think that’s part of it! Great place with plenty of space for a family to enjoy a very cozy, “homey” get away!

The townhouse was exactly as I expected. The home owner was wonderful. She asked if there was any info on the area, and if we have had any problems during our trip. Since everything was great, we didn’t. If we go back we would stay there again!

Beautiful property!

Great property, communication, ease of checkin etc. Only con is the astronomical cleaning fee. There is a long list of check out instructions including striping sheets, pillowcases, run dishwasher etc. These are minor, however Isn't this what the cleaning fee is for? The fees were almost as much as the total nightly rates.

This location is A+. Number one location for Fort Collins! Host was so nice and helpful. Everything was available that we could possibly need! so relaxing and calm! Beds were cozy and shower was perfect!

Wolf Spider Infestation

The property itself was in a good location, cute and quiet neighborhood. It was a bit more dated that depicted in the pictures. It had a strong odor of mildew/mold and there were a lot of cobwebs in living areas and sofas/chairs. We got in late, dropped off our belongings, went out to grab dinner and groceries for our stay. Upon returning and settling in for the night, we discovered an infestation of wolf spiders in the lower living area. I immediately notified the owner/manager. She was quick to respond, offered to refund our money and agreed this was unacceptable. She stated she had never seen spiders there or heard this same complaint. However, as we looked through the house for bug spray we located multiple cans of Raid for spiders as well as spider traps. They clearly had issues someone was aware of. We tried to stick it out, until they came out of the sofa crawling across one of my boys. I informed her we were unable to stay and checked into a hotel. As we had just gone to the grocery store and couldn't bring the food to the hotel, we offered it to her property management team, housekeepers or asked if they could find a donation center. She did contact Orkin and made an appointment for the following morning and offered us to return, but we declined. As we live in an area that requires pest control, we know it gets worse before it gets better. She text me the following morning to inform me that Orkin had been there and sprayed, but saw no indication of spiders. That is not possible as we made sure to leave the eight dead ones where we killed them on the floor of the main living area. When I told her we would not return and would take her up on the refund, she told me she could not authorize that and I needed to contact the management company. I screen shot her text message and told her I was confused. She replied the next day stating there was miscommunication and she would refund us for the bug spray. I immediately contacted the management company. It has been more than a week and they have not responded. I delayed giving a review here, but am honestly baffled by this situation. I wouldn't have hesitated to refund the money, probably would have offered to pay for the groceries and moved on. I have been left with no choice but to leave this review and contact VRBO. I would highly suggest you don't rent here or through EVOLVE.

Nice Unit and GREAT location!

Nice unit, well-stocked, in a GREAT location! Close to everything but feels like it's out-of-town. The owner had GREAT communication in the days ahead of our check-in AND while we were there! The unit is very nice and comfortable. We would rent again, if in the area and needing to do so. We loved having access to the lake for the views and kayaking. NOTE: If a guest has trouble with stairs this is not the unit for you.

Wonderful retreat by the lake

Loved our location and stay. Sat by edge of lake every evening and watched the geese and ducks. Very peaceful. Location is close to CSU and many restaurants, shopping, etc. The home is very well appointed and the kitchen stocked with spices and things you need if cooking in. Owner was responsive and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
