Highly recommend

This house was even better than the pictures! The outdoor fire pit and screened porch with beautiful hydrangeas and property surrounding was beautiful! I was very worried about cleanliness given the times we are in but when we walked in you could even smell how clean it was...the bedding was pristine, kitchen and bathrooms were sparkling...I was at ease when I walked in and could tell how serious they were taking it. It is the perfect location right between Brevard, Highlands and Cashier....huge grocery store in Cashier. We loved our stay there, we ate in a lot and had everything we needed. It was a warm inviting home and we would definitely recommend to someone looking for a nice place to stay. We have used VRBO for years and years and stayed all over the country and this was one of my favorite houses.

instructions need to be tailored better for property. Directions are the long way. Instructions say to leave trash outside garage which the bear really enjoyed (took 30 min to clean up) and they never picked the trash up. clean up could definately be better

Lack of Amenity Listed

Home was nice, but a main reason for renting in Oct. (fall), was the fireplace! It was out of gas and they never got it replaced. We stayed 9 nights! We asked for some kind of reduction and were told NO! We will never rent here again. With so much competition you’d think they’d do better. Ugh

Comfortable

The property was as described. Living area is comfortable and well lit. Bed very comfortable. Nice screened porch. There is a fire pit but the stair access is on the other side of the yard. So you have to walk around the back yard to get to it. There are no steak knives and the few cutting knives are dull. House location is convenient. Upon arrival there were no directions on use of gas fireplace or tv remotes. Also; no dishwasher cleaner, sponge; etc.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The holidays are such an awesome time to visit this area! FYI... Please check the door knob on the back bedroom. My grandson (15mths old) got stuck in the room during his nap.:( we were able to get to him but there must be a little problem with that knob. Thoroughly enjoyed your home and will want to come back! Thanks for sharing!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I came here to evacuate from Hurricane Florence. Firstly, let me say that the property management for this home is incredible, courteous, friendly and understanding. The home itself was absolutely beautiful, we knew it would be from the photos online, but the pictures don’t do it justice. Our favorite part was the screened in outside patio. We spent much of our time there! I also must comment on the cleanliness and full kitchen. It was almost like we forgot we were getting away from the storm. When we had to extend they were so understanding and helped relieve some stress from our situation. Hopefully under better circumstances we will be back!
