We fell in love with Woodstock while visiting and spending Christmases there with family for many years, finally finding a place of our own. It’s been wonderful to discover all of the charms of the area, and Charlie has developed a particular fondness for cycling over this beautiful terrain.

I think I must have been an innkeeper in a past life as this is the third property we've offered for rent, and it has been a delight each time. Hosting people whose family and friends gather for their important occasions, and knowing your place worked well for them is a wonderful feeling. I love connecting with people in this way.

We fell in love with the property for its layout, spaciousness, and the endless views, so we went for it, and immediately got busy updating it indoors and out. We have been doing so ever since, with even more plans for the future.

The number one thing mentioned by our guests is the beautiful western view. It's as if Mother Nature is putting on a show every day, all day, just for you.

The second thing guests mention is the cleanliness of the home. This sounds routine, but as travelers we all know it isn't, so all props given to our housekeeping who do an amazing job for our guests.

Another feature that appealed greatly to us is having two large primary bedrooms; great for couples traveling together. One-level living is possible with a primary suite on the same level as all of the living areas, with the second primary suite upstairs. The main level primary is great for a guest who doesn't do well with stairs.

Frequently seen in our reviews is the comment that there are multiple spaces for hanging out, which now include several outdoor spaces as well. Just as inside, there are places to gather or seek solitude. The setting is open yet private on a quiet road with nice neighbors, 3/4 surrounded by beautiful woods.

The home has everything needed for a quiet stay in proximity to nature and the best of the Woodstock area. Having the beautiful and well-maintained Quechee Club nearby leaves no want unanswered.
