Hochatown getaway

Nice clean relaxing enjoyable place to stay. Not far from attractions and activities. Very quiet and peaceful. Would stay again when we return.

The house was excellent. It had all the amenities you would need for the stay. The guest bathroom door didn’t have the mechanism to close so that might need to be looked at. Also the yard was in need of some attention. But again, the house was very nice.

Beavers bend experience

Place is great. I took my family & friends plus small dogs. Plenty of space for all. Some glitchy electrical issues in the kitchen and guest bathroom but we managed to have a great time.

The house was nice the hot tub was like 170 days overdue water change. We lost power the last night we were there but they cannot control that. The location was nice because it was close to everything we needed to do. The host was very helpful which was very appreciated!!

Overall good experience

Trailer was nice and had everything needed. Grill and fire pit in the backyard were nice. Road getting to trailer was gravel and difficult to get down.

We've had so much rain the last few weeks and it has washed a lot of the area roads out some are impassable and the county is trying it's best to get to them all to repair them, this one is lower on the list because it is still drive-able just a slow watchful drive and I wish we could do something to help that along! David, we’re sorry to hear your stay did not meet your expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: -"We always appreciate constructive feedback, but we were surprised to hear that you misread the description of this property. We do not want our guests to feel caught off guard and advertise this home accurately- it is not advertised as a cabin. -Regarding the yard, we have it mowed every two weeks, except for when we have a ton of rain, which is normal for most lawn services. This May our area received more than the usual amount of rain which prevented our landscaping team from mowing the lawn. We're sorry this impacted your stay. - As far as the showers and lights, we have had many renters in the past few weeks and none have reported any problems with these. With all the storms we experienced, it may have been possible that they affected the lights. Had we known you were experiencing issues, we would have been more than happy to go in and investigate the source of the problem. We're sorry if you did not enjoy your stay with us, but we work hard to provide a comfortable, clean, and enjoyable Broken Bow getaway at a reasonable price. We truly go above and beyond for our guests and are confident that future guests will have excellent stays."

Rough rocky road to travel

Travel to rental property was rough due to lots of rocks and up climb of the road. No hot water in master bedroom shower, coffee Keurig was not clean and had to clean it before use as Ms vent over stove did not work.

Hi Delphine, we passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: We do our very best to uphold high standards of hospitality for our property and provide all of our guests with an exceptional experience. - As we value guest satisfaction, we're sorry to hear about any inconvenience you experienced during your stay. We haven't received any other complaints from previous guests about the issues mentioned. We installed a brand new tankless hot water system a few months before your visit, and since then, no other guests have raised any concerns. However, it might take a little longer for the hot water to reach that end of the house, and we'll make sure to include this detail in our stay instructions to make things easier for our guests. - In regards to the road, please be aware that one end should be avoided completely, as stated in the pre-stay email sent by Evolve and this is also mentioned in their directions. - The cleanliness and condition of our home are important to us and rest assured, we've already discussed the matter of the unclean coffee pot with the property management company. In addition, despite not receiving any other complaints and having numerous bookings since your review, we'll still send our maintenance team to verify that everything is functioning perfectly. We do all we can to make our home the best possible experience, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Overpriced

I understand that the booking was over Thanksgiving weekend. But staying in a single wife trailer shouldn’t be 500 a night. The ventilation isn’t great, the heater was set at 68 but the whole house felt like 80, you could not even crack any windows open. The guest shower was tiny and mildew was all over the ceiling . I couldn’t cancel my booking, and only stayed one night out of the three I reserved. Also the roads leading to the cabin need maintenance. Luckily I have a 4 wheel drive vehicle.

Peaceful

This location is close to everything you would be in Hochatown for, but yet is so unbelievably quite and peaceful. When we come back hopefully this place will not be booked at that time.

Nice Property tough road

Very good for the price but the road is very rough. Thank God I drove my 4x4 access coming in from one direction you tear up a small SUV very deep holes That’s the only thing other than that LOVED IT

Short vacation

Property was exactly as shown online. Home was clean and comfortable. The roads are very rocky and hills to get to the property are steep. There is no Wifi inside the house you have to go up to the fire pit for it to work and it doesn’t always. Could not get wifi password to work even after trying to contact evolve. Tv is also hard to figure out and does not work well they have Roku so we were able to watch a couple movies at night. Having the big yard and fence for the dogs was nice, it needed to be mowed and weed eated very badly. Grill worked great back and front porch are nice, could use some paint. The drain in the shower in the master did not drain well at all so we used the smaller bathroom for showers. Overall it was a good place to stay for the price.

Cute and homey

Place was nice and quiet. Tub in master bedroom could use more hot water it ran out fast. Add hot tub and new grill and it would be perfect.

Bugs and flies in the home

We saw bugs and flies in the property. The house was smelling bad. The signals on the property was bad where we could not communicate to the property manager.

Sowmya, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. Unfortunately, this guest exceeded the home's maximum occupancy rule and we believe this review to be an expression of frustration at the repercussions. The homeowner let us know that the property manager was in constant communication with these guests, who never mentioned issues with pests or an odor in the home. We can confirm that these issues have been investigated and found to not be true.
