Excellent location

We enjoyed our stay at this property however a few minor things to mention. The key would not lock the door from the outside, we used the laundry door as a work around.The kitchen is missing a few essentials, an oven tray and a vegetable peeler to name a couple. There was also no dust pan & brush. Also a clothes line or rack would be great and would be put to good use if available. Very nicely decorated little property. The lounges and beds were all comfortable.Thank you for having us.

Not ideal

On arrival everything was opened and the key was in the door We were told at 11:30 there was only 1 cleaner that day so it could be a later check in But heard nothing after that Lightning in bathroom was so poor Could not watch Tv on further examination the cable appeared broken Bill sent a friend to fix it but he couldn’t And yes we tried to tune in channels Amount of beds advertised was wrong The linen on 1 the double bed had terrible stains The extra linen in cupboard was dusty My partner ended up sleeping in his car for 2 nights We booked for 4 nights but only stayed 2

Third time back...

Bill and Rose are always welcoming, and we love coming to stay in Australind. Right across from the water in a sweet, comfortable property great for a family of under 5. Great food and wine abounds locally with everyone you meet very friendly. We will be back again next year.

Comfortable house, great location

We enjoyed our stay at the Dolphin Place & found the house to be clean, tidy & comfortable. It was great to have some breakfast cereal, eggs & milk provided for our first breakfast. Great location with views of the estuary & sunsets. Walking track & 5 minute walk to small shopping centre. Just a few minor maintenance issues to improve the experience - kitchen tap drips, bathroom fan needs cleaning, bathroom door not closing & a few cobwebs.

Great if you’re into kite surfing or crabbing

Could do with more air conditioning but the sea breeze made up for it and great family park across the road. Lots of shops near by.

A Great Time Had By All

It was as advertised - PLUS!!! The accommodation was spotless, the beds were comfortable and warm, and everything provided. I'd forgotten my Vegemite for breakfast and guess what - it was there waiting. Wonderful place to stay and mine host was friendly and courteous. He visited us during our stay and asked if there was anything we needed. We told him "No - everything is here". Thanks a lot, Bill, You're the tops. GEORGE ILES and family.

Great little getaway unit for family

Great unit for our family of five. Great location, easy to find, playground just across the road and shops just down the street. So many little helpful items in the unit. Tea/coffee, milk, eggs and butter in the fridge for you. Washing machine and dryer. Electric blankets and heaters, then fans and air con if staying in summer. Unfortunately it was raining during our stay so we didn't get to use the outside fire pit, but it is a great set up. Thanks for having us.

Who would have thought that the Shire of Harvey would introduce us to such a tranquil setting beautifully situated on the eastern side of Leschenault Inlet. We felt welcome in your cute little cottage with all the amenities we needed to make it a most enjoyable stay. Thank you to our hosts for providing us with lovely clean linen and towels. The view was extraordinary and one of the many highlights of this memory that we will treasure always.

Great Break!!!

Fantastic location, with lovely views, and close to all amenities. Enjoyed visiting the wineries and breweries close by, and relaxing at the house admiring the sunsets. Nearly everything you would ever need was supplied, and we took too much stuff. Highly recommended.

Awesome view and location to shops

We had a wonderful relaxing stay. The sunsets were amazing and the owners Bill and Rosemary were very accomodating and provided Assistance to get the outside log fire going to watch the sunset. Would definitely visit again.
