Fun getaway

We had a great time at this beautiful home on KY Lake. It had everything we needed and the most beautiful views right from your back door. Having the private dock was a huge plus and the owner was quick to answer any questions.

Beautiful House and Location.

As a family we go on several places during a year. This home was excellent with the amount of space and access to lake with view and water. Would love to stay here during the summer. Location to stores not that far away. Our grandkids loved the bonus room but also exploring the outside Love that all bedrooms had king beds and plently of bathrooms. Wouldn't change a thing.

Great Escape!

The property is perfectly secluded with amazing lake front views! Peaceful and rewarding place to sit back and unwind. The owner was amazing, made the check in easy, was very helpful, and easy to contact. The house has everything you would need. My husband, daughter, and I enjoyed our time away from all the hassles of everyday life, it was great to just laugh, have fun, and enjoy what the day brought instead of worrying about everything. Would highly recommend!

Stunning home and views

Excellent time here, host is very responsive. Views are gorgeous, wildlife is fabulous, kitchen is well appointed beds are comfortable. Only disappointment was initially unable to use hot tub (but host made sure we got a slimmer asap), and there was only 1 working kayak. This is something we checked on before booking and we were told there were 2. This was an anniversary trip so we were bummed we could not go kayak together. Pieces have been lost over the years rendering the backrest unusable on all but 1. There was an amazing area to the right up 2 Cul de sacs. It had a swamp area with a lot of wildlife, turtles, gar, heron etc. would have spent more time here but had to get the kayak back so 2 others could kayak. Fireplace was shut down for spring, we could have used it but we would have had to watch a u tube video etc and my hubby didn’t want to deal with that on vacation. There are awesome places to walk nearby lots of cemeteries with history. They let us use their bird food and hummingbird food so we had lots of birds. Saw bald eagles one day and lots of turkey vultures/vultures. They could use new pillows and new or fixed kayaks. A good power washing would be good also. We had chilly weather a couple days so puzzled, went for walks, tried a bike ride but it’s pretty narrow roads so I don’t Really recommend. We brought plenty of food, an instapot and food chopper. Rest was provided. A new egg pan would be nice. Only 1 worked without sticking. It needs a little attention but is a great place. Unfortunately kayaking was super important to us so can’t give it 5stars.

Beautiful Home and Property!

We had a WONDERFUL time staying at this home. It is super spacious and has all the comforts you could ever want. The check-in process was very easy and the owner was always available for any questions we had. The home is located on a corner property so every bedroom has a view of the lake. The multiple decks provided ample views to enjoy the beautiful sunsets and sunrises. We enjoyed seeing the herons fishing and there was an armadillo that roamed around the yard and provided us with some entertainment! A quiet, comfortable home that we all loved staying at so much. I can't say enough good things about this property!

Beautiful Place

The photos did not do this property justice! Spacious, comfortable, updated everything - this place has all the comforts of home. The owner was extremely helpful and available and it is obvious how much this property is cared for. It lies on a corner lot so every bedroom has a lake view. We had such a wonderful time watching the sun set and rise from the multiple decks. I can't say enough great things about our stay. The home has everything you would ever need ... fully stocked kitchen, the beds are great, there is tons of space, and you will want for nothing. My only complaint is that we couldn't have stayed longer! I highly recommend this property, it is amazing!

Overall Nice House

Overall, we had an enjoyable stay. The pictures of the property were accurate, and we had no major issues. There are a couple things that could be improved for the amount that you pay to rent the property. The ping pong table leg was broken, the sleeper sofa in game room needs to be given away. The cushions are ripped and torn, and it is very uncomfortable. We did have to purchase some glassware to drink out of. We only had 4 glasses to use for juice in the morning (plenty of wine glasses tho lol). The windows and deck were not cleaned at all. I spent an hour outside cleaning windows etc so my granddaughter would not think there were “bugs”. Overall it is a nice property. We had an enjoyable time on the lake, and there were hardly any other boats on the water. The dock for the boat was really nice and pictures don’t portray that.

Nice and relaxing stay

Loved the house and location for this getaway. We were looking for a lakefront house and this was perfect. Very clean and roomy. The house has everything we needed. We grilled out every night. Loved the screened in porch. We brought our kayaks and was able to use the ones at the house too so everyone was able to go out at the same time. Host was very attentive also. Thanks for a great place to stay. Would love to come again.

Great family reunion/Getaway

Our family really enjoyed this Beautiful home by the lake. It was clean, spacious, ,warm, and inviting. The kitchen has every gadget you will need for making delicious meals. We loved the hot tub and gas fireplace the most. The beds were comfortable and there were more than enough pillows and blankets for everyone. Our host, Richard, was very easy to contact with any of our questions or concerns. However, there weren’t many of those at all! We would recommend this lovely home and hope to return.

Beautiful Setting

Great Retreat

Spacious modern, comfortable house with great views of the lake. The kitchen is large and well outfitted. All of the bedrooms have views of the lake and the living space has two stories of glass looking over the lake. We also enjoyed and evening fire in the fire pit while gazing at the stars.

The house was very nice and communication with the owner was great. They had paper towels, spices, cookware, etc. plus kayaks for the lake that was right outside the door! It's a great place to stay for both kids and adults!

AMAZING WEEK ON THE LAKE!

This house was wonderful! Even though the location is remote (20 miles to town), there is a lot to do right there on the property. We stayed with our family and another family. We enjoyed a week of boating (we brought 2 boats), fishing, kayaking (3 kayaks in the garage for us to use!), & floating in the lake. The kids enjoyed ping pong and foosball in the game room as well as corn hole outside. The fire pit area was really nicely kept. We made s'mores and roasted hot dogs. The house was very well equipped. The kitchen had every tool and appliance you could ask for. There was plenty of paper products, detergent in the laundry room, extra bedding & towels, etc. There were also games, movies, etc. We felt very much at home. The house was beautiful & the stay was very comfortable. I would definitely go back!

Great family getaway!

We had a wonderful stay in this lake house! It very nicely accommodated our family as well as our friends and family. Everything was very well equipped. The kitchen had every utensil an item you could ask for! There were also lots of extras including kayaks, beach towels, corn hole, extra paper products, plenty of bedding, etc. The owner, Richard, was very accessible and accommodating throughout our stay. He also provided lots of information, directions, and suggestions for things to do in the area. The boat dock area was great! We had to boats with us, and there was plenty of space for both of them. We were also able to swim right off of the dock, which was great in the hot summer weather. We had a fabulous vacation! I would definitely visit this house again!

Highly recommend

Wonderful home very well supplied. The photos were very accurate. We loved the views and access right on the water. The amenities were fantastic with the exception that the hot tub was not working and the kids were disappointed. Otherwise the location, kitchen, firepit, kayaks, and numerous other amenities made for a great stay!

Annual Lake Vacation

My siblings and I enjoyed this beautiful home on Kentucky Lake. The house is well stocked with all the kitchen, paper and linen supplies you could ask for. Richard was always available to answer questions if we had any. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and did take our boat out a few times. Because we didn't really know the lake we were very leary about traveling it. It is best to read up on the water depths before venturing out. The boat ramp was not far from the house but the roads are pretty narrow getting from the house to the ramp, so be cautious if you are travelling with a pontoon or larger boat. We couldn't get over the turtle population in the water. That was a new experience for us on our yearly Lake vacations. We also enjoyed watching the two hummingbirds and the woodpeckers that visited us daily.

Beautiful Home with a Beautiful View

This home was beautiful with a gorgeous view of the lake. It was very spacious, clean, and perfect for our family get-away. The location is off the beaten path, but well stocked with essentials just in case. We look forward to staying here in the future!
