Pincots Cottage stay

Excellent accommodation. Very clean, all new appliances, & lovely and private. After a full day, a great place to return to, to unwind and relax. Would highly recommend this property.

Lovely spot

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage. We were there to visit Hobbiton and the glo caves. It was centrally located. We slept well and would stay again in the future.

Beautiful cottage in the hills.

Everything you need, quiet and comfort

We stayed over a long weekend for a sporting event. The cottage had everything we needed. Sheets were excellent quality and beds comfy. Full kitchen with plenty of space. And lovely personal touches. Would definitely recommend and book again Would definitely recommend and book again

Exactly as described. Owners were wonderful. Cambridge is such a beautiful area centrally located to many of the sites we were visiting. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again!

Slice of Paradise!

This home is located in such a dreamy location - my absolute favorite part of New Zealand, actually! The house was well stocked and the rooms were set up perfectly for our group. The bathrooms were spacious and clean. The common areas were comfortable and cozy. And the view - so fantastic and my daughters and I were able to frolic barefoot in the front grass. Sue was very sweet, as well, and if we ever can make it back, we will! Thanks for such a lovely stay!

Home Away From Home

A lovely place in a gorgeous setting and so quiet and peaceful. We needed a few days away from the rat race of Auckland and this was perfect. Cambridge has a lot to offer for food and to stroll through the shops. Locals made a point of saying hello as we walked through the township, not something you get in Auckland. Staying at Karapiro just made the trip perfect. We did a day trip to Papamoa and then back to Karapiro for our last night before heading back to Auckland. Sue was a great host and had everything set for our arrival, we also got to meet April. Highly recommended!

Gorgeous rural setting

The whole house was very clean with modern facilities and a full size kitchen. (Instructions on using the modern stove and range would be helpful. I couldn't figure it out, but my husband finally did. Also, it you plan to do lots of cooking the frying pan wasn't in great shape, all the other dishes and pans were fine) It has comfortable couches and beds. Nice heater for the living area. At the bottom of the driveway it looks as if there is a path across the road that runs the full distance of the lake. We just didn't have enough time to do it. Note the dam is under construction. This didn't effect us. The views are amazing as are all the relaxing sounds of birds singing. My husband says this was his favorite place to stay!

Perfect accommodation for our group of 2 couples. Comfortable and convenient to many amenities in the area. Really appreciated the air conditioning ( not that we used it), dishwasher and washing machine.

Wonderful place to unwind.

The place is large enough to accommodate our entire family of 6, but my wife and I still found it perfect for just the two of us. New Zealand rentals are just different. They have accommodations for everything. We could have cooked a gourmet meal with everything that was equipped in the kitchen. Had we planned better, we would have taken advantage of the kitchen. The Cambridge restaurant scene is good, but we didn’t want to leave the place once we dropped our bags. This is a gem for sure. The atmosphere is tranquil. The deck is surrounded by nature and has privacy. It’s a great spot to home base for your hobbiton and waitomo cave tours. Highly highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Pincots. The house is beautiful and well stocked. Very comfortable beds and beautiful view. A great place to just relax. While a bit in the country it is only 10 minutes away from the town of Cambridge with all you need including nice restaurants. Sue was wonderful and stayed in touch to make sure all was fine. I would definitely go back here and probably spend more time to visit central north island sites. Lived having April drop by for little visited as well.

Perfect

Was in the area for a rowing regatta and the location was brilliant. Cottage had everything we needed and was well set up (although, given it poured with rain, a dryer would have been handy for all the rowing gear each night!). Appreciated that it had basic things like spreads and oil, and beautiful home made jams. Would definitely stay again.

Having recently retired from dairy farming, my husband and I have settled on a small lifestyle block nestled in Karipiro. We raise a number of cattle, have some chickens and a small dog called April.

• Private cottage for your own comfort.
• The living area has a complete kitchen and comfortable lounge area.
• A ranch sliding door opens out to a larger decked area, outdoor table and chairs with unobtrusive view of Mount Maungatautari.
• The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal.
• Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, cooking oil, salt and pepper supplied.
• The electric heat pump/air conditioner will keep you toasty warm in winter, and cool and comfortable in summer.
• The bedrooms allow for privacy and space. The large wardrobes are perfect for storing your gear.
• Sheets, blankets, pillows and towels provided.
• There is a washing machine and laundry powder.
• Unlimited wifi available.

Please note there are three bedrooms available with different bedding configurations, upon a booking request please specify the bedding arrangement you require.
Bedroom One has a king bed (sleeps 2)
Bedroom Two has a super king bed which can be configured into two king singles (sleeps 2)
Bedroom Three has a king bed and double bunk bed with a single bunk bed on top. This room also has an ensuite. (sleeps 5)
Bedrooms will be accessible depending on the numbers in your party.
