Great property. Friends and I stayed for a very long golf weekend. Melissa is the MOST communicative owner I have ever dealt with. If I had a question, she responded immediately.

The home was a home away from home. Everything that you need and more. Most of all the host was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, patient, and attentive to any questions I had. We had a great thanksgiving here and look forward to returning in the near future.

Weekend getaway

I stayed in the in the area for a weekend and rented this house for one night. It was clean, organized and offered all the amenities needed to make my family feel very comfortable. The house is large and the outdoor space is very nice if you choose to barbecue. The house is conveniently located near stores in case you need anything. The host is an excellent communicator. I would stay there again and recommend this house to all.

Great place. Spacious and clean.

We had an amazing time staying at this Vrbo property for our friends' weekend getaway. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was. The house itself is decorated with a fun, modern vibe. We liked the different hangout areas and nooks scattered throughout. There was a spacious living room perfect for lounging with a screen, projector and sound bar. The dining area for meals was nice. And the pool table in the loft area was a nice touch. We could easily spread out or come together as a group. The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. The kitchen had everything we needed during our stay. The host was communicative and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend this Vrbo rental to any group of friends or family looking for a fun getaway. Between the cleanliness, decor, and plentiful hangout spaces, it made for such a memorable weekend.

Melissa was such a great host. Easy and open communication, beautiful home in a great area. We got snowed in a foot of snow and by morning our driveway was plowed and we were graciously allowed to check out later then planned so the roads conditions could improve before we left. Absolutely highly recommend this property and would be happy to rent here again.

Quiet and peaceful getaway

Great home in a nice, peaceful neighborhood, conveniently located close to many shops, restaurants and more in the poconos. My only regret was not having more time to stay longer. Will absolutely go back in the future. Thank you for letting us stay in your home!

The Pursue Happiness Home:

In 2018, I started a new venture. It began simply enough, traveling to the Poconos, where I hoped to find a new home. While driving, something caught my eye: the “Welcome to Pennsylvania” sign which read the message, “Pursue Your Happiness.” The words haunted and inspired me, in the most beautiful and idyllic way. The sign resonated with me so, as they had previously been etched in my mind – on another sign. That message – vibrantly emblazoned in neon pink letters with the same words - hung on the walls of the iconic Sweet ‪Liberty Bar‬ in Miami. Having worked in the beverage and spirits industry for the entirety of my career, I found such meaning in the correlation of both of the signs and the gentle, yet poignant, message behind the words: “Pursue Happiness.”

It was at the very moment, I decided that my new home owning venture needed to somehow bare recognition of those words. I wanted a home that not only inspired the pursuit of individual happiness but made my guests feel it as the theme of their stay.

A “Pursue Happiness” replica neon sign now hangs on the walls of my own home– as we should strive to live each day by following this sweet and simple mantra.
