Our stay was relaxing and such a wonderful experience! This was our first time renting a house through Evolve and VRBO and the entire process was seamless and easy. The house was absolutely beautiful and breathtaking and exactly as described and our whole stay and the house and neighborhood exceeded all of our expectations and made this such a wonderful vacation for our family. The home was very clean and beautiful and spacious.

Beautiful and serene

Great place for relaxation and close proximity to SPI. Enjoyed the peacefulness of the pool and hot tub, especially in the evening. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonder place to stay!

My sisters and I stayed for 10 days and had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and we were very comfortable. Steven was great to work with and took care of a problem we had immediately. Hope we can stay there again soon.

The house was perfect for our family of 6. The house was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. The pool and backyard were also fantastic. It was even more perfect in the late afternoon when the pool was shaded and the sun was setting. Beautiful! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Very nice clean home in Laguna Vista. Had everything you needed. Was a short drive to Port Isabel and Padre Island. Would definitely stay here again.

Summer 2024 Vacation

The house was perfect for our family. Quiet and beautiful. Kids loved the pool. I did reach out a few times to our property manager. He was super quick to help! When going back, I will be getting in contact with him again for one of his three houses. Thank you again for the oppertunity to stay here.

South Texas Getaway

This is a very relaxing property. It was clean and neat. The neighborhood is quiet, just right for relaxing. We didn't arrive until around 8 p.m., and when we went to the front door there were throngs of mosquitoes to greet us. There were also mosquitoes on the patio if there wasn't a breeze. I'm sure this will be remedied.

Comfortable House

My wife and I stayed here over 3 weeks and loved it. The house is top notch. There is plenty more of room with a great shower and large walk in closet. The living room and kitchen worked great. The patio, pool and hot tub were very nice with good sunrise and sunset views. The neighborhood is nice for golfers and a good place to walk. The property manager (Steve) was extremely responsive. We did not need much but had a small annoyance with an item and Steve got it fixed right away. I would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable Cozy Home with Great Pool

We truly enjoyed our stay at this home. The layout gives everyone the space they need. We enjoyed the neighborhood and golfed several times at the golf club that was about 2 minutes away. South Padre Island and Port Isabel were easily accessible. Our favorite part of our stay was the pool. With 4 and 6 year olds it was just the right size and depth. We have stayed at many homes with pools, but this one was heated perfectly. The spa was warm and wonderful. Our weather was cloudy and rainy most of the week. However, we made the most of it and jumped into the pool even while it rained.

Great rental home in a peaceful and safe location.

I stayed with my wife and son for the 4th of July week. House was plenty spacious for my family. The property is located in a gated community where its peaceful, clean and in a safe community. The pool was great to cool off during the day and the spa was relaxing after a day at the beach. The home is located a few miles from South Padre Island away from all the hustle and bustle . There's a Walmart and HEB nearby if you need any groceries. My family spent most of our day at the island beaches during the our stay. It was nice to come back to a peaceful home to unwind. We have stayed in Laguna Vista before but wanted a rental with a private pool this time around. The extra money spent for a private pool was well worth it. I highly recommend this home for you next visit to South Padre Island.

The Right Stuff!

Right amount of space with a great Master/huge walk-in shower and great walk-in closet! Right open layout from kitchen to living room to outdoor space.Right size pool, patio and covered space.Right amount of amenities/safe community.Right distance to beach and island as getting away from the crowd was important.Right convenience/access to doors/garage/gate.Right expectations - aircold waterhot pressurestrong washer/dryerefficient filtersclean coffee makerk-cup!Things to know (while the master has a superb on-suite, the other two bedrooms share a bath, but it certainly wasn’t an issue) (we ran out of time to use the community amenities, but they looked topnotch and the golf course appeared gorgeous!) A very family friendly neighborhood.We stayed on the beach surf fishing for four days, but we wished we’d had more time to enjoy the space and area. Plenty of counter space for staying in and cooking. We also found a couple of restaurants on the island that were awesome! Our favorite was Viva!!!This place is the Right Stuff for fun and relaxation! It is in a community with lots of retired homeowners, so it won’t be the right spot for loud pool parties.

House was nice but definitely not worth the price and the owner Stephen was a nightmare.

Master bedroom had a leak that went all day and night making it hard to sleep. One of the other bedrooms had a loose lamp over the bed which fell and hit my mother on her head. It was things that we could have worked around but when my brother came over to drop off the cooler we’d left at the beach the day before, this man started calling us accusing us of having a party and threatening us. I tried explaining the situation to him to no avail. I terminated the call and this man kept calling me and harassed us for the rest of the evening, even after my brother had left. Ruined our experience and will never book with this crazy person again. Please read the reviews and beware of this terrible owner. I have pictures and videos to prove the terrible experience with this owner.

Great House in good community

My wife and I spent 3 weeks here and the house is very comfortable. The master closet and bath were perfect for a long stay with plenty of room including 2 sinks. The main area is quite comfortable and the pool and hot tub area were perfect to see sunrises and sunsets. The house manager, Steve, was great. We had one minor issue when we first got there and he fixed it immediately. He was as responsive as anyone we have experienced. The community is great for golf, pickleball and walking. We would stay here again.

Family Vacay

Stayed a week with our family, 4 adults and 2 littles. The heated pool was great, we spent a lot of time in the pool. The only downfall to the pool area was the uneven decking (definitely a trip hazard, even when walking). The location of the property was good for day trips to the island and surrounding communities. Definitely a safe location. The kitchen was very nice, could have used a few more little amenities to make the stay a little easier when cooking in (i.e. plastic wrap, foil, chip clips, pitcher, pizza cutter). Only other suggestion would be a map of the golf complex to better understand where the community pools and fitness center were located. Oh, and get a plumber to check out that clunking sound in the master bathroom.
