That said, we’re very sorry for the trouble you experienced with the key pad/door latch, especially being stuck outside during a storm. That’s not the experience we want for our guests, and we understand how frustrating that must have been. We will be addressing this issue right away to ensure it is properly resolved. I’m glad you found parts of the stay enjoyable and that the setting and quiet road still offered a peaceful experience. That said, I’m sorry several things fell short of expectations. The cleanliness issues you mentioned, especially with the sink, cabinets, and kitchen floor, should absolutely have been addressed before check-in, and we’re going to follow up with our cleaning team to make sure this doesn’t get missed moving forward. You should be walking into a fully reset and properly cleaned space every time. I also hear you on the layout details like the proximity to the road, outlet limitations in the bedroom, and comfort of the couch. Those are all fair points, especially for future guests who may rely on that information when booking. We’ll work on making those details clearer in the listing. And regarding the landscaping crew, you’re right, a heads-up would have made that much less disruptive. We’ll coordinate better so guests aren’t surprised during their stay. We really appreciate you bringing all of this to our attention. It helps us improve, and I’m sorry the experience didn’t fully meet what you were expecting.
