Northstar Big Horn Village Condo (3/3) Next to Gondola, Great View, Convenient!

Enjoy the Northstar Village with your family or friends! This 3 bedroom and 3 bath residence is centrally located and just about as close to the Village Express Gondola as you can get. Drive in, park (underground), and enjoy the easy stay with everything you need just steps away.

In the winter, we have a great view of the snow covered trees and ski trail. Stepping out on the balcony, you can sneak a view of people roasting marshmallows and skating on the ice rink down below. Getting up to ski and snowboard couldn’t be easier with the gondola right across the pathway out of the front door. The ticket office, rental office, Burton academy and the ski school are right out the door - in the adjacent building. Coming back at the end of the day, there is ~100 foot commute between the “Beach” (end of the slope) and the front door, and the ski locker on the first floor where you can safely leave your equipment. There are plenty of places in the village apres ski for a nibble (pizza?) or a beverage (mountain margarita?). OR stay inside and cozy up inside by the fireplace, or go to the gym, sauna, or hot tub. There is also the ice rink, outside fire pits to socialize gather and enjoy a bit of live music*.

In the Summer, when the mountain turns to focus on mountain biking and hiking, it is also a lovely retreat. It is quiet, with the pine tree views and the convenience of the village. The ice rink turns into a roller rink, there are summer activities, and a kids camp**. There are so many activities - enjoy a bike ride on a nearby trail, road, or down the mountain. Hike, fish, workout, soak in the hot tub, dip in the pool, or golf nearby. We are right in-between Tahoe and Truckee, which make both easy to explore and enjoy.

In the village, there are a number of restaurants**, a Starbucks, ice cream and treats, a little convenience store, a tiny movie theater, and a number of stores that support mountain sports.

The residence has a master bedroom with a king bed, soaking tub, shower, and dual sinks. There is a “kids room” with two bunk beds (4 twins), a hallway bathroom with a tub and shower is right across the hall. On the other end, there is a junior master, with an en-suite bathroom. The living space isn’t cramped like some of the units, and has a nice entryway with a bench and storage. The dining room easily seats 8. The kitchen is good sized, well equipped and regularly used.

Fantastic location, and well kept property. As always, we appreciate being able to stay in a convenient location in the village. I only wish price was more competitive based on the supply/demand and not just set and locked in. There was no snow at Northstar, the village was not very busy, so I know supply was not a problem. Food and Wine Festival!

We rented this clean, comfortable 3 bedroom apartment for our girl’s Food & Wine festival! The place was clean, cozy and quiet! Beds were very comfortable and place was clean! Kitchen had all the amenities except - seren wrap/ aluminum foil and wine glasses!! I did text then owner and said had I texted him earlier he would have baught it over! Check in was a breeze! Parking no issues. We will surely stay there again!

Perfect condo for long weekend with family

304 Big Horn was exactly as pictured and described online. The check-in went fine and after calling the main reception I was able to check-in earlier than the normal time. We were a group of six adults (brothers & sisters and cousins) staying for our cousin's wedding, and there was plenty of room for us all. We were at the opposite end of the village from the cable car that takes you up to the Ritz, so keep that in mind if it's important to you. Would stay at 304 Big Horn again.

Easter Week 2019

We had a great time for Easter week in Big Horn 304! The booking and check-in process was very simple and easy. The owner was kindly able to accommodate our requests for an earlier check in and a later check out, to allow for a few hours of skiing the day that we left. We have rented in Big Horn many times before, and this was one of our favorites units. It is spacious and comfortable and I felt the pictures were quite accurate. We appreciate being slopeside, it is a bit quieter (and darker at night) on this side - except for the grooming cat down the bunny slope in the morning, which doesn’t really come all that early for a ski morning. :) Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Overall is was a nice stay. 304 big horn is perfectly located right in the village, super convenient to everything. It’s a great choice for young kids....mine were obsessed with the bunk beds. Only issue we had was the garbage and recycling was not taken out from the previous visitors even after I sent an email to the property managers. Although they did remove the bag of soiled diapers that was left on the balcony.

This condo has been updated beautifully. Although it is a 3 bedroom, it easily can fit two families with the 2 bunk bends in the 3rd bedroom. There are also 2 master bedrooms. Right downstairs is the gondola entrance. Owners were easy to work with and available to ask questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Great property and perfect village location

You should stay here, no complaints. The owners were responsive and easy to work with given our very last minute reservation. Much more refined in person than the pictures depict. Perfect village location, clean, nice hardwood floors, and comfortable beds. It was just myself and my nine year old that stayed here. I did not use the kitchen or cook however it was well equipped with anything you might need. Location wise, the entrance is right in front of the `beach` (could not really get any closer for a ski-in/ski-out property). We would defiantly stay here again.

Look no further for one of the best places to stay in Northstar

My family rented 2 three bedroom units in the village of North Star. This unit was fantastic in every way. From the moment you open the door until you you start cooking in the wonderfully equipped kitchen everything you need it there. The unit is decorated beautifully and tastefully . The leather couch makes into a queen size bed and there are plenty of sheets, towels and pillows for all. There are even humidifiers in each of the 3 bedrooms to help with the dryness. The gas logs in the fireplace give a nice soft touch to the room. The kitchen is fully equipped with service for 10! All appliances are there including your very own Starbucks Barista machine and a coffee pot and a great toaster. Every time I thought I needed a kitchen utensil all I had to do was open a drawer and there it was. Cooking was so easy there was plenty of detergents and soap for the dishwasher as well as trash bags, salt, pepper and spices. We never used the full size washer and dryer but it was nice to know it was there too. So easy to move into and enjoy a 4 day stay. Each suite has it's own bathroom and the unit has 3 complete bathrooms fully stocked with 2 hair dryers and nice shampoo etc. There was even a crib for small children if needed. Parking in the underground garage was a real bonus. You never had to go out into the snow to get the car. There is nothing I can say about this unit that was wrong. It was so nice to stay in the Village and enjoy the skiing right out the door. The second unit on the second floor was a disaster. Toaster did not work, decorated badly, lights did not work etc. It was so nice to come back to this unit and enjoy the surroundings. Shay are Zeke are fantastic to work with. They answer emails almost immediately and understand exactly what questions need to be answered and how. We have rented several VRBO units in the past but the customer service and kindness we received from Shay and Zeke were some of the absolute best. A huge thank you to both of them for being so great. I would rent anything from them. (They were not the rental agents on the unit on the second floor or I am sure all the inadequacies would have been taken care of immediately.) We would love to rent this unit again and again.
