The cottage was very cozy and comfortable, view was beautiful also. I felt the extra charges beside the actual price per night to be way too much .I was there by myself and feel the prices should change depending on the amount of people staying there .I slept in 1 single bed and left the place spotless .I would not recommend this property only based on the price and charges per night

Thank you for your positive rating and for taking the time to leave your feedback. We understand that solo travellers may feel they're paying for more space than they need. However, booking platforms charge significant commissions and fees, which are reflected in the advertised rates. Our holiday homes are generally designed for families and groups rather than single occupancy. As we can't reliably verify the number of guests staying without intrusive checks, our standard pricing is based on exclusive use of the entire property, with rates calculated for the maximum occupancy rather than the number of guests. If you're travelling alone or as a couple, we encourage you to seek out the Experience Augusta team directly before booking. Where possible, we're always happy to discuss the most suitable accommodation and pricing options.

Ellis St

We enjoyed our stay perfect for a couple to crowded for 4 pax we came with. Very clean, I think a salad bowl would be useful and a knife block also. View and proximity to town great.

A pleasant stay

Property was attractive, with a well set up kitchen. Property manager was very helpful when a small problem arose. Lounge area would be a bit tight for four people. Tiled floor quite cold in winter, probably pleasant in summer. Positioned in a lovely part of the country with plenty to do and see.

Augusta discovered

Overall a lovely weekend, discovering Augusta and the local history and characters was wonderful. The only blemish was the mould smelling from the kitchen sink cupboards which I realised was due to the tap leaking badly when turned on and flooding behind the cabinets! Please replace that tap immediately, not sure what you can do about the mould now?

pixie foot steps from above

yes was fine, but noisy if the owners are staying above as you can hear them walk around and flush the toilet shuffle slippers on rolling out of bed, other than that, nice place great view clean, a good place to stay as a single or a couple with small kids
