The apartment was very well located—the harbor and downtown were easy to reach. The apartment was clean and well maintained. Nothing was missing. The service at reception was excellent. The apartment complex is in a quiet location. All in all, it was really lovely.

Wonderful Accommodations

We really enjoyed our stay. We had a 3 bedroom unit, very spacious. Staff was courteous, friendly and attentive. Would definitely stay here again!

Overbooked

We arrived to be told the apartment had been overbooked. We were offered a 2 bed with 3rd bed being a bed settee in the living area. This was obviously not ideal as we were 3 couples and wanted 3 bedrooms. After numerous txt’s we were given a partial refund. Such a shame as position in Newport ideal and great facilities.

Great Newport Stay with Amenities

Location was great in Long Wharf! Simple walk everywhere downtown. Rooms were perfect for family of 5 for a week. Loved the amenities including two pools, hot tubs, fire pit and movie theater.

Great location and facilities

We had a great time. Unfortunately we booked 3 nights and were told last minute we could only stay 2. We consequently had to move location as there was no availability? Resort did not seem that crowded so I don’t really understand

Girls trip

After making our reservation months in advance, on the morning we were to arrive we received a call our reservation was overbooked and the condo was unavailable. We were halfway to Newport. After numerous calls back and forth with unacceptable options, we finally were told a condo was available. That put such a damper on our trip. Needless to say stressful aggravation! The reason given for the initial call was also was unacceptable.

We will be back!

We had an outstanding experience at Wydham Long Wharf! We arrived late at night and the computer weren’t working for check in, but the staff was great and able to get us into our room very quickly despite the issues. We enjoyed the pool and the property very much. The staff was very helpful and also accommodated us being able to use the showers after running the half marathon before we made the drive home. We would recommend staying at this property!

Sister Trip

We had a great stay at the Newport Wyndham. Property was as listed and very nice. My four sisters and my sister in law had a wonderful stay. Giovanni checked us in and made sure we knew everything we needed to about the amenities. She gave us an early check in (thank you!!) and was very sweet. We could walk to everything "Newport" and really enjoyed the property and room. We did not use the pool or gym but checked them out and found them to be clean and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Location

Property was amazing, clean and staff was very friendly. There were activities for the kids at the resort and location was close to shopping, restaurants and much more. We will definitely be back!

Weird experience for a VRBO

We did not utilize all the amenities but the room was large and comfortable. There are scent spraying machines in the hallways that filled them as well as the rooms with an overpowering citrus scent that unfortunately remains in our luggage even now that we are home. This property should not be allowed to be rented as a VRBO property. It is basically a hotel that has a kitchen with dishes and small plastic disposable salt and pepper shakers. My experience with VRBO in the past is more of a home that has a stocked kitchen. Also, to have to pay the VRBO fees is ludicrous given that this was a hotel with its own dishonest housekeeping staff. Twenty minutes after we checked out I called the property to let them know I had left my rapid charger plugged into an outlet in the master bedroom. They said they would check with house keeping and call me back. They called back to say there was nothing there, which I know not to be the case. I would not recommend this property as a VRBO option to anyone.

Wedding Weekend

We were guests for a spectacular wedding on the water and couldn’t think of a better property to stay at. I have stayed at the Long Wharf before, but my friends haven’t and were a bit skeptical. Everyone loved it and it’s even better than I remembered.

Great location!

This resort was the perfect Newport location! The access to pools, hot tubs, the gym and the theater were great features! The resort staff were very friendly and attentive. In our room it seemed like maybe the air filters needed to be changed. The room smelled greasy and there was grease on the walls and cabinets. We did have a great time though!
