The host was exceptional- terrific communication throughout the booking and stay experience including wonderful local recommendations. This flat is very well appointed and cozy- the perfect home for a romantic long weekend! Lastly, I cannot recommend the location more highly- if you are looking for a truly authentic Parisian visit, you are literally steps away from Rue Cler- an incredible permanent street market full of shops, cafes, and more. 10 min walk to the Eiffel Tower, and 30 min to Saint Germain or the Champs Elysee for other popular landmarks. I cannot wait for my next return!

Great location fantastic host

I would highly recommend staying here. It is right off the Rue Cler market, and surrounded by great restaurants and easy access to transit. Vénie is a great host, you can’t go wrong!

Wonderful stay in prime location

I stayed here with my daughter and had an absolutely wonderful time. The host was absolutely amazing and there for anything we needed. Very thankful for her and all her accommodations. Only a stones throw away from the Eiffel Tower and nestled around so many great cafes, restaurants, and souvenir shops. We will definitely save this listing for future trips. All around amazing experience

We loved this unique apartment in the best location. Rue Cler nearby was just so nice and only 1 min walk with no cars allowed and many shops and restaurants. The Eiffel Tower and park are very close as well! Our host was so attentive and made our stay hassle free! We would defined stay here again!

Family getaway

The apartment was just as listed, a perfect spot for our family of four. The location was very convenient to attractions, but on a quiet side street just around the corner from Rue Cler which we loved for morning pastries. The outdoor patio was a nice spot to relax after a day of sightseeing. We also enjoyed excellent communication with the host. Would definitely book again!

Sweet flat minutes from Eiffel

Sweet flat, fabulous location, just seconds from Rue Cler. Great patio & kitchen. Ladder & stairs are tiny but we managed well. Delightful!

We loved our stay!

Beautiful location & a perfect, clean cozy apartment to spend a week in Paris! The street adjacent to the one the apartment is located on is one of the cutest we came across the entire time we were there! The owner was wonderful and helpful. The small outdoor space was perfect to enjoy a glass of wine before we keft for the evening. We highly recommend staying ( it looked bigger to us then the photos displayed) Our teenage daughters, husband and myself give it 5 stars!

Never had a more concerned and kind hostess. The apartment is exactly as described. Baby and parents slept in the lower bedroom. I slept on the pull out couch. The location provides everything you need and the neighbors are kind and helpful ( I have arthritis in my hands and was struggling to turn the key and a neighbor came by and asked if she could help. There is an Aldi shop and another grocery shop very near, fruit and the best fresh veggies ever. Chocolate store as well! Restaurants just a block away with all kinds of food. Easy pick up for transport, right in front of your door when you call. Wonderful!

Accomodating host/perfect location

Our host went out of her way to arrange for us to leave our luggage 5 hours early with no charge! Communication was always prompt and helpful. The flat was adorable and we loved our little courtyard. The neighborhood was just that, a true neighborhood, that wasn't totally packed with tourists and felt safe. Restaurants were great. Chef's kiss for this one!

Great location and host!

Vénie was a great host and was very responsive throughout our stay. The location was fantastic with many restaurants just down the street for lunch and dinner. The proximity to the Boulanger was great to get pastries for breakfast and a baguette to snack on for the day. It rained most of the time we were there so we didn’t get to use the patio. The proximity to the metro made getting around very easy too. Thank you Vénie for a great stay and we’d love to come and stay again when we come back.

I am the editor-in-chief of a fashion trends magazine and have been receiving people at my place since 2015. I love it each day (and night :) and I do my best for my travelers. Some have become precious friends.
According to my travelers’ tastes, I might offer them a true taste of French life or leave them be happy and independent in our flat.
What has started as a hobby now yields a needed income. It’s not a full-time job, though. I’m not a hotel professional nor a hospitality robot. I expect Vrbo travelers to behave like guests.
The flat is incredibly well located and equipped. However I prefer hosting travelers who choose our property for its original decor and feel lucky to live amongst our remarkable pieces of Vintage Modern furniture.
I’m happy to provide tips and recommendations. Please feel free to ask me for help or info.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

The building has been erected by my two-times-great-grandfather in 1895. He was a very modern aristocrat, an Eiffel tower fan and fought against the Philistines who wanted to destroy "her" (she is a feminine figure in our eyes). We know the history of this piece of land since before the revolution. It came in the family with a dowry. Its riches were the spring, where now there is the fountain. The flat history embraces four centuries, it's fascinating.

この宿泊施設の特徴

The patio is an unique feature. Not even 7 properties in our very chic neighbourhood can claim such a feature, and none for rental. The walls are very thick and conserve the heat or the freshness well, allowing to use the patio from February until October. The natural air ventilation is very effective during the Summer. This is a little flat for history buffs and distinguished people. Please don't book it if you're just looking for a place to crash. It has its quirks, its narrow stairs, its steep ladder. It's not for everybody.
