We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! Everything was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The neighbors were friendly, and the location was great, close to everything we needed. The only small issue was that the listing didn’t mention the apartment is on the third floor, which would’ve been helpful to know in advance. Other than that, it was a great experience, and we’d definitely stay here again!

Looks better in pictures

The unit is just average overall. The manager was very responsive to all our questions upon check in.We were disappointed in the lack of items in the kitchen. Not a sharp chefs knife, an old rusted toaster oven, etc... Bedding was worn and pillows were terrible.If the owner would just upgrade a few items, the unit would have been given a better review .

Ok so we had a good stay and ill explain the reason for the rating that I have given. I am a disabled veteran and have issues with my legs along with pacemaker. My issue is the facts that not having an elevator and having to walk up 3 flights of stairs was not good. It was never disclosed that there were stairs on the site. Then to top it off there were more stairs to climb inside the apt to get to our rooms. So if you are a disabled or have some disabilities this is not the stay I would recommend. There were some other things as well but they were minor and the wife and I worked through that. Now if I’m being honest the place was nice and the view was great. Would I stay there again? No because a few things are not disclosed till you get there. But such are thing on the Island and you have to make the best of it.

Spacious, but hard to find also packet with information never received and several lights did not work. Why aren't there drawers in bedroom. Do not need all those seats in bedroom but do need drawers for clothes!

Be Careful

Never cheking. The Host never send the information for cheking. He said is going to send the cheking Info to my phone and never recived. He refuse to refun my money back.

Not for elderly or disabled

The condo was OK - the response from the host was good. Any time I had a concern or question she answered promptly. She also answered questions I had about the area. However, there were 21 stairs to get to the building which was on a hill, then another 27 steps to get to the 3rd floor. This is NOT handicap accessible. We are in our 70's and did OK but I honestly wouldn't recommend it for any one elderly. I was disappointed their rule was to take your own trash to the garbage making you walk up and down those stair, especially when I paid a cleaning fee. I have never had to take out my own garbage in a VRBO. If I didn't take out my garbage they will charge you $50.

Good but not good

The apartment is very comfortable and offers a great view.Things to improve:•The sheets have pilling from being overused.•The comforter had an unpleasant smell.•There was hair in the master bathroom bathtub.•The towels had stains and seemed dirty.•There were Funyuns chips behind the microwave, indicating that the cleaning staff doesn’t move things to clean properly. I noticed this when I started washing the dishes we used.•More paper towels should be provided. One roll for three days is not enough. The paper towels are of poor quality and fall apart easily.•The toaster oven was full of mold. It should either be replaced or removed, as it’s unpleasant.•Overall, the pots and pans are worn out.•Wine glasses should be included. I bought a bottle of wine to celebrate my husband’s birthday quietly on the balcony, but there were no glasses. • There are no cutting knives, only table knives.•The master bedroom’s air conditioning remote didn’t work. I had to use the remote from the other room.

Very dirty, furniture does not match pictures but beds, great location

Not enough characters to submit full complaint here that we sent to VRBO. Would love to upload pics here, not possible. The apartment has not been cleaned in months. The internet did not work, some of the remotes for the equipment such as AC's did not work and the apartment was very dirty (hairs from other people on kitchen cabinets, on fridge, throughout the floors, in the bathroom drawers etc. Smudges from other people on all the glass surfaces and doors/cabinets. Outside of toilets on bottom had brown stains. Toothpaste and spit water stains in bathrooms. Used razors and q-tips from previous customers in bathroom drawers. Random parts laying around throughout the apartment such as screws, pieces of metal etc. The door handle to the balcony was loose (my husband took it off, to use the sliding handle.) Whoever had mounted the handle, used screws that were too short, so it came off. The hair drawer had a broken piece and was so sticky and dirty that my mother almost threw up when she had to use it. New hair dryer was never delivered as promised. Plumbing issues in one of the bathrooms, sink was useless. The fridge and kitchen cabinets inside were dirty as well. It seemed as if only the towels and bed sheets were washed but that was it. The AC units had brown stains. I could go on with the nastiness. We took 100 pics and videos. He accused of being scammers wanting a discount although we booked this apartment almost a year out and paid in full to attend a big family event.

excellent stay

the view was great! good location, close to the things I need to get to, restaurants, scuba diving etc. The only little bad thing is if you have a lot of luggage, it will take some effort to carry to the 3rd floor

Lacks comfort

Let’s start with arriving at the property it is difficult to find. Make sure not to travel at night it might be easier to find during the day. When you arrive getting into the property is not easy, the instructions to get into the property were not clear. To get in you have to open up the gate go up three stories which are really five and unlock the lockbox to get the key to go in the condo and then get the gate opener. If you have a problem in the condo you will not receive immediate assistance, the smoke alarm battery died and the alarm started chirping we had to go out at 9pm to buy a battery we texted the owner no response till the next day. The pool was locked we texted the owner they couldn’t assist to the next day. If your main destination is La Parguera then it’s not too far away from there. but it’s far away from everything else.,20 minute to San German when your driving through the dark winding roads seems like a life time. The condo appeared clean at first sight and most of it was clean however when we arrived that night and pulled the covers there were stains on the sheets. The sheets are stained!. I had to throw them in the washing machine to make sure that they were clean before I went to sleep that night. I was doing laundry till 2 o’clock in the morning.. the cushions on the furniture are flat. These are basic things that the owner or the manager of this condo can easily improve. To name a few, more responsive communication, granted I could have been contacting the owner insteadof the manager but if I was contacting the wrong person the owner should have directed me to the manager., Better towels, replace the stained sheets and buy new cushions for the furniture . These changes would make the condo better. I rarely travel to Puerto Rico but when I go back I will not be staying there. I wish I could have given a better review because the space is nice but the details are lacking which makes the stay unpleasant and annoying..

Everything was awesome, just be prepared for lots of stairs, good workout though. I, stupidly, left my passport in the condo. Owner was quick to respond and is mailing them to me! Thanks again!!

Great location, nice condo

Nice location and close to a cute town with a bakery and good restaurants. Trips to the bioluminescent bay and kayaking to the keys are right in town. Far enough from town that the weekend evening music and noise does not reach the condo, which was a plus for us. Only a 1-mile walk into town and good sidewalks so for anyone who enjoys a walk. Walking into town for coffee and pastries in the morning was lovely.

Great Stay close to everyting

Great stay close to everything and will try and book it again. Issues opening the lock which kept the key inside but once I read the information more closely I was able to get the key to the property. Pretty cool staff and very attentive. Will visit Parguera again and stay at the property if it is available.

El Palmar

Poor communication with owner, bare basics in condo, up 3 flights of stairs (no elevator) no extras, not enuf bath towels, poor toilet flushing system, no info on surrounding area or restaurants, no emergency flash lights, no first aid kit. Took 3 days to get xtra bath towels.
