Cancelled on us. Left us stranded.

Really bad experience, cancelled on us, it was our wedding day, gave us the run around with contacting different people, who turned out to be unrelated to the property... Provided no support in the end and cost us thousands of dollars in transport and hotel rooms to and from the Sydney CBD.

Misleading listing, house was extremely unsafe.

Rear door to house was damaged and didn't lock. Property Manager Madecomfy were dishonest and would not arrange for door to be fixed. Hence there was no security and people could walk off the street. House is very tired with damaged bbq, damaged outdoor seating, dishwasher wouldn't work, laundry sink was blocked and house was generally untidy. It would be a good idea to fix and freshen the house up.so it matches the listing. Madecomfy were very difficult to contact and would not repair the rear door which was held shut with a broom handle each night in an attempt to maintain some sort of security. Stayz were also unhelpful in dealing with the matter.

Ok……just

House could be really nice but it is tired and needs work to fix basics. Furniture is old and damaged. Linen is cheap. If owners spent a bit to modernize it would be great…….but as is, just average

Never again

This is my first order and everything was bad! except for the reservation part and payment of course. No one returned my messages during our stay. Not Stayz and not the company that owns the property - MadeComfy. We didn't have Wi-Fi on the first night and only after several calls and a very rude and unhelpful person on the other side of the phone it was fixed. We sent a message 2 days before our stay with a request for the last day of our stay and never got a response. Moreover, only after paying the initial payment with no option of free cancellation I was asked to submit a scanned ID to MadeComfy in order to get the property's address. Who do you think you are? A governmental office? So I will never work again with either STAYZ or MadeComfy. MadeComfy promised compensation I am still wating for it, I expect you to help me get it.

Woolwich terrace

Property location suited us as we know the suburb and it is a lovely area for walks. Proximity to parkland, ferry and bus transport, cafe and restaurants is good. Overall the house was well presented, but the pool area and furniture needed attention and the recycling bin was full on arrival. As regards maintenance, one down light in the kitchen needs replacing. The positives outweighed the negatives and we would stay there again.

Woolwich stay

The property is in a great location and we enjoyed our stay however we tried multiple times to communicate with the owner/lister and for no response, this meant after booking there was no way to contact anyone. The property listing indicates air conditioning which it does not have. The kitchen was also not very clean.
