This location was amazing, quiet, and safe. One of the best views on the island, and the snorkeling (although difficult to exit/enter the water if waves are rough) was probably my favorite of all the 6 locations we snorkeled during our stay. The Tiki hut was large and a major hangout for our 6-person group. The bird songs were enchanting, and the iguanas and hermit crabs kept our young children busy. It is a 45-minute drive to both ends of the island, but we prefer the quiet/private atmosphere. We would rebook without hesitation.

Pasamos unas deliciosas vacaciones familiares !!! La casa tiene el tamaño perfecto… y el área de piscina y terraza con vista al mar hace toda la diferencia. El lugar es hermoso y seguro.Hay un “lobby” con todos los servicios. Sin duda volveremos We spent a delicious family vacation !!! The house is the perfect size... and the pool area and terrace with sea view makes all the difference.The place is beautiful and safe.There is a "lobby" with all services.We will definitely be back

The pool, view and ocean sounds are fantastic. The villa worked well for our family of four. We opened the doors of the villa and stayed outside during the day and the AC worked well at night. There is a breeze most of the time but we also used bug spray. There was some construction noise a few lots down but it didn’t disturb us much. The walk down and entry to the ocean is rocky so swim shoes helped. The snorkeling is fantastic with tons of fish just off the shore. The villa was extremely well stocked with plenty of dishes, cup, cooking equipment, appliances, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, coffee and filters provided. Check in was easy with the code to the key box provided.

BREATHTAKING VIEWS

If you are looking for a private oasis with a pristine backyard overlooking the Caribbean, this is it!!! The backyard is utterly amazing. We spent most of our afternoons after beach going relaxing in the pool and staring into the bright blue ocean water! Nothing beats it. A few iguanas, which we loved, but they scurried down the rocks and didn’t bother us at all! Wonderful variety of birds. House was very clean, plenty of towels. AC was perfect in the bedroom for nighttime! My husband and I prefer to stay somewhere private and this hit all the marks!

Relaxing ocean front with all the sounds

Wonderful location. Coral estates is a great place for an evening pizza or a morning jog. The house is laid out to optimize your outdoor time. We moved the furniture a bit and watched a movie with the back drop of ocean noises and soft lighting of the rental house. I will suggest bringing a pillow. Not sure if it is an American thing but I enjoy my big fluffy hotel like pillows. Hardly a reason to deduct anything from the stay. Just a personal preference. The pool is a perfect temp constantly. We could swim at 8 am noon or 9pm. The iguanas visiting was a blast as well. They would hang out and watch us swim. Really immersing to the island feel.

Really Great Trip

Overall the house ended up being exactly what we were looking for. Neighbors are close, but landscaping hides most direct sight lines. The outdoor space had different furniture from what pictures show, so we weren’t comfortably able to sit around the pool with shade and kick back at all. There was a table with stools but not the outdoor couch shown, which was a bummer. Mosquitos were CRAZY bad. Definitely bring bug spray. The code we were given at check in was incorrect. We were able to WhatsApp the property manager for assistance, and they got back to us quickly. The person in charge of the listing on vrbo also responded to our messages, but still provided an incorr ct key code to us. Lovely development/beighborhood, with friendly security, great hiking trail, and good restaurants. Would definitely stay here again. Overall we were very satisfied with the property.

Cozy but underwhelming

We rented the Villa Tropical for a 5 days stay. We previously stayed at another villa on the Coral Estate (at lot 64) for 5 days also. We arrived at a really cozy but small than we expected. The AC wasn't working yet. It could only be activated from 7pm to 10am, which was problematic because we were travelling with a 6 months infant. The villa can become very hot when no AC isn't running. The rooms are pretty basic. They were clean but the mattress aren't king size as listed. Also, right next to the villa, another house was in construction. We were woken up early in the mornings with constitution sounds (around 7am). It was loud and noisy. Hammers and saws all day long. It was hard to relax outside. Even when taking a nap inside. The kitchen is very limited ans not very functional. There are plenty of cups and wine glasses, but other cooking gear is lacking. The coffee machine is a old model also. And the gas stove takes some time to really heat up. The outside lounging area next to the pool was ok. There was enough long chairs to tan but we has to move some outside furniture under the palapa to chill from the sun and be far away from the construction next door. We also had a water stopped working because the water cleaning crew probably forget to start it again. We had to restart it ourselves from outside the gate. Our previous location (lot 64) was much bigger, luscious and modern and for a much lower rent price.

Great location for honeymoon

My wife and I spent our honeymoon here. Coral estate overall was great, the restaurants up front were all very good. The property was as described. We liked the location (being in the water was nice, we didn’t snorkel out back but I did fish and we walked along the water). Pool and yard were nice especially in the evening. The kitchen amenities all worked well on the trip and we used them quite a bit. Only issue we had was plumbing which we think is due to all the rain received, more than usual. This was something minor on the last day so it didn’t impact us much.

Coral Eatate provided a exclusive intimate friendly escape . since we had a driver already lined up jnCuraxao we had no problems throughly exploring the island The location would be hard to reach otherwise The service poolside and the pizza shop superb Made a pizza and decorated it for Valentines for my husband As a matter of fact there is no special touch that can’t be accommodated !

Beautiful house with iguana problem

It is a beautiful house in safe and quiet villa. There is a resort hotel in the villa where you are welcomed to use their facilities including their pool and beach. We had our own pool but we did not use it because so many iguana were swimming in there every day. We didn’t mind swimming with iguana but we minded their droppings In the bottom of pool and floating on the surface. Management company sent a pool cleaner every week and they did a good job, but as soon as cleaning is done, family of iguana came back and jumped in there. We saw over 10 big iguanas around the pool one time. Also we had some roach problems in the kitchen when we checked in. Management company sprayed chemicals which seemed to work. I guess it’s just a part of being in the tropical island. And the one last small problem was that the water system stopped working every night after midnight. We had to go out to the street to reset the water system every morning. Even with these setbacks, we had a very nice stay there. We want to thank the management company for trying their best to make our stay comfortable.
