The owners used oversize windows to allow for striking views overlooking Eden Rock and Saline Beach, making Villa Wine Note a sanctuary for connoisseurs of the sea.

Facing directly north, the deck and its large, heated pool are bathed in the sun from sunrise to sunset and offer maximum privacy. A gentle cascade flows down from two small pools located in between the living and master bedrooms.

The spacious living room sits a few steps above the pool in a separate building with the kitchen, which can be completely opened up to enjoy the Caribbean breezes, or closed off and be fully air conditioned.

A large sectional sits in front of a wide screen TV, with a high dining table behind, but the center piece is the large wine display, with a collection of rare wines, This display also serves as a separation between the living and the galley style, gourmet kitchen, which has several preparation areas, a large gas stove and oven, and everything else a chef can desire.

The five bedrooms are arrayed in several buildings around a central living space, which includes a master kitchen that’s so sleek its white-lacquered counters, cabinets and drawers don’t even have handles. The long dining table is also made of white lacquered resin and raised high enough that padded white barstools serve as chairs, making it a relaxed but elegant setting for enjoying food, wine, family and friends.

All the bedrooms are large, with private entrances, parquet floors, private bathrooms with wooden furniture, and direct access to terraces and gardens, where guests can hear the natural waterfall that tumbles into one of the villa’s swimming pools.

The main master bedroom is located in a separate unit alongside the living room. This bedroom has the same unobstructed views as the living from the king sized bed, with a large bathroom that has an interior, as well as exterior shower. The second master bedroom offers ocean views from the unit behind the living and master bedroom, from where one can step right out of bed into the pool. it has a king sized bed and bathroom that was designed to offer views from the shower.

Two bedrooms are located above the second master bedroom, and are accessed from stairs behind the unit. While these rooms are lightly smaller, they have the same amenities as all bedrooms: TV with U.S. satellite, iPod station and WiFi. One of the upstairs bedrooms has a small view on the bay of St. Jean with a small king sized bed, and ensuite bathroom. The other room has views over Salines, with two twin beds that can be made up as a king, also with ensuite bathroom. The 5th bedroom is situated below the living, and can be accessed from stairs leading down from the terrace, but also has a separate entrance from the road. It is spacious and fully equipped, but offers no views. It's an ideal hideout for teenagers!

This villa is the ultimate family getaway, but can also be very comfortable for couples vacationing together.
