Property was just as described and very clean. Location was the reason I got it and it was right by mainstrauss and walking to the bars and restaurants was a breeze. Would stay again.

Third time staying here or the unit next door. Perfect location. Always clean. Well stocked. Parking never a problem right out front.

I think it is a wonderful older home in a great location in Covington with easy access to everything including baseball games. It is an older home so when the neighbors move you hear it and when cars go by on the street you hear that too but overall it wasn’t that noisy. I would definitely stay here again the price was reasonable

Excellent location for quick access to food, coffee, and the highway. On street parking was never an issue, found a spot near the house at all times. No issues with door code or wifi access. Comfortable bed and excellent A/C system. Microwave was not working properly, minor issue. Bathroom door needs a little work for functionality purposes. Is a great stay for 1/2 people who will not spend much time in apartment. 9/10 overall

We loved our stay. It’s cute as can be. We cleaned up the leaves outside, but other than that it was perfect!

Charming cottage!

We enjoyed our stay at the Canary Cottage. Aside from some general street noise at night, we loved the lively, artsy vibe from being right on Main Street. Plenty of restaurants and sights to see. The Vrbo had everything we needed for a lovely stay.

Love the neighborhood. Several interesting bars, shops and restaruants. Convenient to other Cincinnati attractions. Unit was well equipped, but could use some more furniture and decorations. Good value.

Charming home

This home was just perfect for us. The fireplace and hardwood floors lent charm to this historic building. The neighborhood is walkable to downtown Covington and the area is full of character. We would definitely book again!

Good location close to the restaurants and bars. In walking distance to several places to eat. If you will be out and about, this place may fit your needs. It is very bare bones. No place to really relax and read a book. Just a couch and bed for seating. No table lamps in the living room. The ones in the bedroom didn't work, so only "the big lights" if you know what I mean. No dresser, stand or anywhere to put our suitcase. If minimalistic is your style, this is it. Pretty quiet except for some noisy people on the street, but in the bedroom you couldn't really hear anything. Bed is hard as a rock. I was sore for a few days after. No communication from the host during the stay at all...maybe that is just me but anywhere else I have ever stayed I received a welcome or a check in at some point. The temperature wasn't controlled by us. We kept setting it and it would automatically go to a different temp. We were freezing at 67 that it kept reverting to every couple hours. As I said, if you just need a place to put your bags down and are out in the city, it is nice. It just wasn't a great fit for us to hang out and relax in.

Lauren, we’re very sorry to hear about your stay and really wish you would have reached out because a few of those items could have easily been fixed (i.e. the lights if you had notified us). We send out a welcome packet to every guest, please check your email for that which instructs for most things during your stay. We receive many compliments on the memory foam bed but do understand it may not be for everyone. Regarding the heat/air (same as lights) had you just reached out we could have told you how to set it. There is a “set” button you need to hit after you select the temperature. Each of those units have an individual AC and furnace so can be set exactly to your desired temperature. All in all we try to provide a very clean and helpful accommodation at this price point. If you were looking for some of the additional items I’m happy to send you some of our other units that range in the $150-250 range per night. Again, we don’t love hearing your feedback and wish you had a better stay but it sounds like most of your issues could have easily been solved by reading our welcome packet or simply reaching out during your stay. Our local team would have been happy to help.

Good value compared to hotels in the area. Went for a Bengals game. It was a bit of a longer walk than we would have liked but that was expected. The main thing I look for in a VRBO is the safety of the area and cleanliness and this property was very good in both of these.

Main street property

Perfect location , close to everything on mainstrasse, very clean, communication and details of wifi and the cide for the door very easy to get will stay there again this makes the 2nd time i have stayed at the property absolutely love it

Spent a long weekend to attend the 3-game Cubs series. Location was perfect - about a mile from the stadium but in a non-urban feel neighborhood. Lots of unique shops and dining options in the immediate area. Noise from the street a little loud at times.

Would Definitely Stay Again

I stayed here because I was attending a conference in Cincinnati. I loved the location of this property. It is within walking distance of some very good restaurants/pubs. I enjoyed dinner at a different one each evening. The property was clean, and had everything I needed. If I had to have any cons then it would be the street traffic can be noisy at times through the night. I would definitely stay again if I needed to be in the area again.

We absolutely LOVED our stay here! The location was perfect! We had a concert at PNC Pavilion on Friday night. We easily took an Uber to and from the concert. We enjoyed exploring all the shops and restaurants the area had! This unit is adorable and very spacious! The bed is huge, and so comfortable! We liked sitting in the front in the chairs people watching, lol. Super clean, has everything you need, can walk everywhere! We WILL book again!
