Alex communication was very good and responded very quickly for all our needs he also toured the whole property and made sure we were set up for a bbq on Friday evening that we had to cancel last minute due to weather. He made sure we were taken care of from start to finish no matter what happen. Highly recommend very great service.

Ringing in the New Year 2023

We stayed 6 nights on this absolutely beautiful property. The view is breathtaking and property was very clean and maintained well. The hosts were very helpful and absolutely great to work with. The property manager, Alex, was also incredibly helpful and resourceful. We celebrated my daughter's 5th birthday for which they made us a beautiful dinner and also made every effort to make it a memorable evening. They made sure my daughter had a beautiful cake and also brought us some fun decor. Alex also helped coordinate travel arrangements for when we visited the wineries at Valle de Guadalupe. We also had at home massages and Alex had all the right contacts. He was always available to answer any of our questions and was always ready with a list of recommendations. Overall, it was a great experience and our family had a great time!

House was as pictures. Very comfortable for our group and allowed everyone some of their own space with the separate casitas and large main space to gather.

Amazing beach weekend!

We had an incredible time staying at this property. We used the home as a base to explore wineries in Valle de Guadalupe. The property managers were amazingly lovely and helpful and catered a couple spectacular meals for our group. The cantina a couple minutes walk away was another plus!

Family Reunion

The property is beautiful and located between Rosarito and Ensenada. We were greeted by Alex the property manager whom is very hospitable. Alex was able to cook food for us on Friday when we arrived and if he can’t make something you’ve requested he will find a catering company to provide those services which is what he did for us on Saturday. The main house has an open kitchen/ living room with 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. The master bedroom and living room have a balcony. The rooftop is spacious great for relaxing/entertaining or just watching the waves. The downstairs living quarters has an additional 3 two bedroom units which are super cute and private. I would definitely return.

Great home on the beach

We had a group of 20 people down for the Baja 1000. We used this home as base camp for our preparations and departure from Ensanada. Home is sized well to hold a large group of people. It is actually 4 separate apartments with individual kitchens, bedroom, bathrooms etc. Nice bea h location with few neighbors. Gated community.

Beautiful house in a beautiful location!

Jean Claude was a pleasure to work with on setting up our rental. The property manager, Alex was also very accommodating and helped us with anything we needed. The house is huge with plenty of space for more than 20 people. It's right on the beach so it was amazing seeing the sunsets right from the comfort of our own home or going in the water then back for a quick shower. The rooftop terrace makes you feel like you're in a music video. Huge fridge as well to store plenty of food for a whole week if needed. Overall, 10 out of 10 times I would recommend it and we're thinking of making this a yearly trip with friends and family to spend quality time together. Thank you Jean Claude for the great experience!

Fabulous oceanfront location

The property location and set up were perfect for our extended family getaway. The standout feature was having the ocean a stone’s throw away and the ability to enjoy panoramic views from almost every room. The villa is spacious, modern and conveniently located to amenities. We enjoyed being able to pop down to Ensenada or up for lobsters in Puerto Nuevo. Golf at Bajamar was one exit away. What isn’t described in the listing is how gorgeous the beach is. The sand is clean and fine. The waves are gentle enough to swim in yet offer a continuous roar to lull you to sleep. There are rocks to explore sea life. The length of the beach goes on for longer than I was able to walk. A fun cantina was accessible a short walk on the beach. No need to drive to have fun. The entire family of 20 easily fit in the 10 bedrooms. Having four separate units provided privacy for each group; but the large upper house gave us a common area to congregate and have game nights. There were only a few areas that needed some attention. Internet was non-existent (apparently the provider was having difficulty). We ran out of water and had to wait a couple hours before a delivery was made. Dishes were minimal and mis-matched. A few areas showed wear such as blinds and grates that could easily be repaired. Regardless, these issues were minor (aside from in the lack of internet) in the context of the gorgeous, waterfront villa.

10/10 amazing property, amazing property Mamagement and the best 29th birthday I’ve had!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here and hiring Alex and his crew to do your meals! They were so friendly and washed all the dishes after as well. The house is even nicer in person! We will be back!

Lovely Property!

We had such a wonderful time at Jean and Martha's property! What a beautiful location. It was super nice how the house is broken up into separate apartments so everyone could get a bit more privacy. The beach itself was very private and right out back. Alex was extremely helpful the whole time and always willing to help us find a ride or anything else we needed. Jean Claude and Martha were super quick to respond prior to our arrival on any questions! I would recommend bringing beach towels, and just a heads up, the front door slams when you have the back patio door open, and they charged us (a small amount) for some damage for this, but we had to leave the back door open for our dog so it was sorta difficult to avoid! But if you're able to, just close the back door and it should be fine! There was plenty of room, there were 17 of us, but definitely could have fit more if we needed! Huge refrigerator/freezer and multiple kitchenettes as well. Make sure to bring your own oil/seasonings/condiments. Highly recommended to stay here!

Great stay at beachfront proprety

This house was perfect for our large group that was here on vacation. Enjoyed the morning walks on the beach as well as watching the sun set. It was also nice that there was a property manager on site to help us with some small inconveniences that we encountered.

Family Reunion

We took 28 people to the property. 5 couples and 18 children. My daughters had never stayed over night in Mexico and had a little fear for security. Once they got their, they let their kid roam and play in the ocean no problem. Felt very safe and was. Gated community was helpful. The larger upstair room was great for gathering the family for meals and hanging out. There were a few minor thing broken that needed to be fixed like missing bolts on the legs of two kitchen chairs. Told the property manager and he seemed to already know about it. Not sure why he doesn't take care of it. Overall, it was a great place. We will probably be back.

Amazing house and location to stay!

We celebrated a few 40th birthdays and had an amazing time. Ana and Alex were so helpful with any of our questions and needs. The house was perfect for all of our couples to relax and have their own rooms. Ana and Alex made us dinner 1 night and it was outstanding. The guys caught a bunch of fish so they cooked fish tacos for us. We can’t wait to come back to this house to relax!

• About: Hello, I am restaurateur , originally from France where I graduated as a Chef de Cuisine in Strasbourg, Ecole Hoteliere in Alsace.
• My expertise has been working and running French gourmet restaurants, in Chicago ( Champs Elysees at 260 E Chestnut Str and for 35 years in Tucson Az. Restaurant Le Rendez-Vous. moved from France as one of the young chef at Maxime de Paris in Chicago, Illinois, later on, open a restaurant at 260 E. Chestnut street called Champs Elysees, sold it and worked as Food and beverage manager at the Pump Room, in the Ambassador hotel on Goethe street, Chicago. Open the 95th in the John Hancock Building.
Later on move to sunny Arizona to work as maitre d’ at the Westward Look Resort, then Maitre d’ at the famous Tucson Country club and later on to open an all new restaurant called Le Rendez-Vous, run it successfully to finally taking a brake to retire at Alma de Salina in Marina Puerto Salina.(check on Googlr Earth < Puerto Salina Baja>
• Just passed on the torch to my son Gordon to recently became the new owner of the Rendez-Vous Restaurant
• Presently I do some light work as consultant and manage with my wife our beautiful property in Baja California; we do enjoy good company, sunsets, beaches style of life
• My interest is making gourmet food, I enjoy jazz and classical music, when I can combine good company, wine and good food, my wife try to keep me as young as possible, I am quite pleased.

We choose this area because the weather is mediteranean, near perfect and we love long walk on the beach. owner wife is from Mexico and bring with her the Mexican flair and touch
Alma de Salina property is an Ocean Paradise, 1 hour from San Diego, it is half way between Rosarito and Ensenada, a short highway drive to the Guadelupe Valley, Mexico's finest wine Country. our climate is averaging 70 degrees all year round and winters are mild. this is the main reason we bought this property to avoid the Arizona scorching summer heat where we also run a B&B called Le Rendez-Vous B&B.

Note: We do not have a swimming pool because we are right on the beach.
