The Nest at Blue Creek Bay

Beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene waterfront home. With your own private dock and beach this spacious 4000sf home features exposed beams, 3 private bedrooms, and large loft with en-suite that will sleep an additional 7. Great home for families and kids. There is a large gourmet kitchen with beautiful granite island and dining as well as 2 large family entertainment areas. The home has multiple decks and beautiful views of the lake and mountains from nearly every room in the home. The ultimate view of Lake Coeur d'alene is tucked away in Blue Creek Bay and less than 15 minutes from the downtown area as well as excellent location for biking, hiking, golf courses, and ski resorts. This bay is on the north end of the lake with an excellent location for eagle watching inovember thru February.

We spent 11 days as a family of eight at this wonderful home. Conveniently located and absolutely beautiful. Lake access lots of activities and the host Cami was an absolute pleasure. Highly recommend you take your family to Lake Coeur d’Alene and stay with Cami.

Great family getaway

Amazing family location

Wonderful and clean property with tons of things for the kids to do. Easy to get to by car and boat. Located on relaxing and quiet bay. We will definitely come again.

Fantastic Family Retreat

I have stayed here 3 times now and each stay has been fantastic. The house is clean, well stocked and very roomy for multiple families. The kitchen is a dream if you like to cook: awesome stove/oven, fridge, pantry. Cami (the host) is responsive and so accommodating. The lake view is serene and seeing eagles every morning is a delight.

Wonderful Lake-Front Get Away

Booked this home for a 4 night get away with my spouse, parents and in-laws. The house was wonderful. From the massage chair to the easy lake access (minus some stairs) it was the perfect place for our group.

Family Trip

This house is amazing. We used the loft for the 6 teen/adult "kids" and they had plenty of space. The 3 bedrooms were perfect for the parents and grandma! Cami is a great host!

Beautiful property!

We loved our stay at The Nest! The property was actually better than advertised. We had everything we needed, and Cami was super responsive to our questions/requests. We would definitely visit this property again. The kids loved the paddle boards, kayak, and heading over to the rope swing. My dad had mobility issues and loved sitting on the deck. The bay is so peaceful yet so close to town. Perfection.

A dream summer vacation

We fell in love with this property so fast! The house is so beautiful. It had a perfect mix of modern and charm. The kitchen was a treat to cook in, with the combination of a nice gas range and a propane grill on the deck. The way the kitchen flows with the eating space on the deck is awesome. The master bedroom made me feel like I was in a 5-star hotel. The dock and all the provided water toys never left us with a dull moment. We had so much fun paddling across the bay to the rope swing. We can’t wait to start planning our next trip here!

Fantastic location!

The house is exactly as described and is in the perfect location. Our families traveled from Seattle and Montana to meet for a long weekend of much needed time together. The kids played in the lake, kayaked, paddle boarded, used the peddle boat that’s onsite and we brought our jet ski. The bay is perfect for the kayaks and paddle boards. Everyone loved the views from the deck and at night we would all play games around the big table. It accommodated our group of 12 perfectly and we already have plans to meet back here again next summer! Cami is an excellent host and very responsive to questions.

An absolute gem...

I can't give this place enough stars. The home has everything you need for the perfect lake vacation - no matter the season! Thoughtful details from firewood to the plethora of towels, bedding, etc. The bedding. Omg, the bedding. I felt like I was sleeping at a five star luxury resort every night. Bald eagles everywhere was just the icing on the cake. We've stayed at a lot of homes on CDA lake, but this is where it's at. Will never stay anywhere else! Excited to book for the summer. Well done, guys. The gold standard in short term rentals right here.

Never wanted to leave

This house is fantastic. Felt like you were home. So roomy. My family couldn’t stop saying how comfortable everything was. They wanted to know the brand of the mattress and pillows even the couch. This is a great part of the lake, a little less busy and calmer. The rope swing across the lake was so fun. If you rent a boat you are able to bring it in this area, a lot of the river areas you’re not allowed to bring rented boats. Praying we all get a chance to come back. Cami is a great host, answered all my questions timely. Thanks Cami for your great house, couldn’t have been better.

Nothing short of AMAZING!

Our stay at Cami's home was wonderful! From first booking to checkout, communication was very efficient! The home was very clean, and stocked with everything you'd need for a lake vacation! All the bedrooms were spacious and we loved having 4 bathrooms!! And the couch!! My goodness, it was sooooo comfy, I am getting one for myself!! From water toys to extra pantry items, we couldn't ask for a better stay! We also loved the firework show the neighbors were putting on since the CDA Resort ones got cancelled. The stairs to the lake might look intimidating, but we always planned ahead and brought snacks/ drinks so we can hang on docks for at least a few hours before walking up...(but we all needed that workout anyway from eating too much;) ) Thanks Cami, and family for allowing my family to stay and have an incredible 4th of July getaway!

Everything and then some!

We had an amazing time at the Nest for 6 nights! It was such a pleasant welcoming to find plentiful towels, blankets, bedding, pantry/kitchen items, binoculars, and so so much more (even some welcome goodies!). We rented a boat and the dock provided secure tie ups for it. We ran out of time before we ran out of things to do, so much more to discover both in the house and around the area. Rooms were large (you feel like you are in a deluxe tree house), beds were comfortable, bathrooms well stocked, washers/dryers on 2 floors. Dining/seating plentiful both inside and out. And NO BUGS! We couldn't believe it! The bay provided a fantastic and calm swimming/paddle board place with the rope swing right across from the house. The only tough thing were the stairs for my 80+ yr old parents, however they did it multiple times a day. The "spa corner" cured our aching muscles after a long day of biking, tubing, wakeboarding, skiing etc. The only regret we have is not booking it longer! Thanks Cami, you provided a wonderful home upon which many many memories were formed.

Perfect Weekend Getaway!

AMAZING!!! This is the place to be. Blue creek bay is the perfect getaway! We loved cooking in the kitchen and swimming off the dock. There were enough paddle boards for everyone to enjoy! Communication with Cami was quick and helpful! She is a great host and this property is amazing!!! Also our entire group was obsessed with the couch in the main living room.

2nd Time Renting

We’ve rented this beautiful lake house during the winter and summer and it’s been wonderful! The kitchen is amazing. Well stocked. Lots of open space between kitchen, dining and living rooms. Decks are great in summer; we sat out in the morning and evening and the view was beautiful. We brought out jet skis and the dock worked well. The house is in a nice bay of this big lake and the water is calm and cool. Not too choppy.

A perfectly secluded setting, excellent location and property

The property is beautiful, well-maintained, private, it has everything and more than you need. The supplies for dishes and laundry etc. are more than ample. It is an excellent place to stay is beautifully decorated inside with nice comfy beds and down comforters in every room. Much more than we expected! Our host was very resourceful, accommodating and always available. The location is perfect, close to the city, and off the main channel! Far less traffic and easy access to great water sports right out your door. The location is surrounded with hills and tucked away in an private cove, where there might be wind on the rest of the lake, there was none on our cove! Highly recommend this VRBO!

Wonderful house and location!

This is our third year traveling to Coeur d’Alene and we have stayed at 3 different houses. This was my favorite so far! The house was well-equipped. Clean. Comfy beds. Perfect quiet spot on the lake. And the stairs to and from the dock are great exercise. Lol. Cami was also super awesome to work with. Highly recommend.

Relaxing on the Lake

Lovely bay, beautiful views, spacious and comfortable home. We brought our own boat so having the dock made for a perfect getaway.

Wonderful House

Pictures do not do this house justice. It is a great house for a family vacation on the lake. We had 6 adults and 4 kids. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The massage chair was the nice surprise and enjoyed by all. The kitchen is massive. Enjoyed the grill on the gas stove which made it easier for Grandpa to make his famous Mickey Mouse pancakes for the grandsons! If you have a boat, this is the lake spot to be. Lots of life jackets and lake toys to enjoy. Water was crystal clear. Located on a finger off the lake so less boat traffic and calmer water. The kids especially enjoyed playing in the lake every day. We were even entertained by a mama and baby squirrel living in the house on the tree off the deck. Don't miss out on renting this one if you are looking at spots in Coeur d'Alene. Everyone had a wonderful time. And, only 40 minutes to Silverwood,
