If you are looking for the perfect little wine country getaway, look no further than The Blanchard Guest home. This wonderful two bed, two bath home sits in the heart the Dundee Hills AVA. From the front deck, you can enjoy the incredible views overlooking Sokol Blosser, and are just minutes away from countless other wonderful wineries, award winning restaurants and regional attractions.

Upon entering the home you are greeted with warm and pleasant earth tones and lots of natural light. There is ample seating with oversized sectional recliners, couches and a dining table for meals overlooking the deck and vineyard. Other amenities include a gas fireplace, flat screen smart TV (with DISH and streaming capability). The uniquely shaped kitchen is fully stocked for your culinary desires.

The spacious master suite has an incredibly comfortable king bed as well as a full bath with soaking tub. The second bedroom includes a queen bed and a second full bathroom as well. You will find comfort both inside and out. The back deck has an outdoor dining table and large BBQ grill. The front deck has ample seating for your group and truly special vineyard views.

This Dundee home sits in Yamhill county just outside of the town of Dundee and near several other wonderful small towns, groceries, wineries, and activities. If you are looking for a larger property or may have more people joining, be sure to look into the Blanchard Homestead right next door which is another 4 bedrooms and sleeping for 10 people. Together these properties can accommodate 14 guests.

Beautiful location with spectacular views. House was quite dated with kitchen drawers that would fall out. Overwhelming musty smell that would not go away, even after opening all the windows and spraying air freshener every morning and night. Owner would not supply air freshener so I bought my own. Aside from that the cleaning team did the best they could and they were very kind

Clean, Comfortable, and Great Vineyard Views

We enjoyed our stay at this property. We feel the listing is accurate. The decor/furniture may be a bit dated, but it is high quality and very clean. All appliances worked just fine. The property is surrounded by vineyards on all sides. Views are awesome. Sokol-Blosser is directly across from the front door/kitchen side. You can walk a gravel road to get to it (stay out of the vineyard). You are .3 miles from the highway, but the property is pretty quiet - I think due to the surrounding vineyards and being elevated on a gentle slope. We occasionally, saw/heard tractors and trucks going by on the nearby farm roads. But never a nuisance. Minor things to mention... - We had an issue with the TV upon arrival, and after a few text exchanges with the property mgmt company, a rep came out, installed a Roku device, and the issue was resolved. - Internet speed over the entire stay was never more than 3.5Mbps (per fast.com speed test right next to the wireless access point). That was not a major issue for us as we were on vacation and out-and-about most of the time. This may be important to consider for travelers who want to be able to do remote work, share lots of phone pictures, etc. while at this property.

The pics are correct in being outdated but it’s a pre-fab mobile home. We didn’t expect a towel rod hanging from the wall, broken lamp, two dirty wine glasses and a very slow internet. It is convenient to McMinnville and wineries in the area.

Quiet Vineyard Cottage

First off to address the obvious, this is an older pre-manufactured home where some aesthetic aspects are still very dated. However, all of the functional aspects have been well maintained and/or are of high quality. The beds, furnishings, kitchen and bathrooms are all perfectly functional and well maintained. This place serves as a guest house to the main property but is far enough away to ensure privacy. Everything was well stocked and extremely clean. We had no issues with the overall stay. Some minor quirks just to be aware of. The house itself is situated off of a long gravel driveway so be prepared to drive a bit "off road". One of the oddest things was that there were no shades, blinds or curtains in any of the common room areas. This wasn't really a privacy concern so much as the intense amount of afternoon sun that came in through the west facing windows. The newer AC unit seemed up to the task, but we felt like there should have been a way to block the light and heat. There are blinds in all bedrooms however. One more minor aspect was there are neighbors on all sides and the eastern neighbors seem to run a commercial landscape business so they had trucks coming and going but not during the weekends. Lastly, the WIFI seemed to be satellite based so bandwidth was a bit of an issue when we were both working online at the same time. The location is probably the biggest benefit with very short drives to Newburg/Dundee and McMinnville. The host provided wine tastings

This was a great spot, so close to the Willamette Valley wineries and great food. Tucked away from the main road and great views out of all the windows. Clean home and comfortable beds!

Fantastic

Four of us spent an idyllic 4 days at the property. Yes it’s dated, but it’s ruthlessly clean & the beds are wonderful. The kitchen had every appliance/gadget you could want and the grill is great. The views are beautiful, the location is quiet and close to so many of the wineries we visited. We had one minor issue that was responded to so quickly it was as if the host were there with us. We will be back and would love to stay here again.

Quiet little get away!

Enjoyed our stay! This is a quiet and peaceful gem located centrally to see several wineries. This is an older property but very clean and well maintained! The beds are extremely comfy too! Easy to get around between McMinville and Dayton and many fabulous food options are close by. I would recommend and stay here again.

The location was great - nice and quiet with pretty views. The house was comfortable and clean although a bit dated. There were a few items missing: the correct fitting coffee pot and cutting boards. The request from iTrip for early checkin or late checkout, for a fee of $60, was unprofessional.

What a beautiful view from a wonderful vacation home overlooking Sokol Blosser Vineyard! The free wine tastings offered by iTrip were at wineries that produced high quality wines. It was wonderful! iTrip was "right there" to answer questions and help when we needed it. We were so impressed and we will return.

My 4th time renting this house. Love that it is just outside of Dundee so very quiet but close to wineries. Spacious but a little dated, which makes it a great value if you are not looking for granite countertops
