Perfect for out of state students completing their residency, or clinical rotations at DHR. The rooms are very spacious with walk in closets, well lit and spacious restrooms. Our house keepers are professionally trained to clean and leave the space disinfected.

This is an EXCELLENT place to stay -- roomy, great location, plenty of parking, well stocked kitchen. A couple of household maintenance issues kept this from being a Super 5 star! I would definitely come back!

The stay was OK. For the price per night, there are better options. The listing did not indicate this was an apartment vs. house, so I was very surprised to find an apartment for our stay. The original unit assigned was actually flooded with water (seemed something with the water heater). Luckily the property owner has another unit available. The unit was clean, functional. Some annoyance like a noisy ceiling fan in the living room portion was distracting and pill bugs in the floor. No access to a broom, only two rolls of toilet tissue, no soap for dishes or laundry.

Was clean, easy to find, central to everything we needed. No extras, but you have what you need. Sheets on beds, towles, dishes. There is also a Dollar General 2 blocks (easily walkable) away. Make note that the 3rd bed listed is just a foldable mattress (no sheets) that is just a few inches thick. We only needed it for small children so wasnt an issue, however I dont see it being a comfortable option for older kids (preteen/teen) and adults.

My husband and I enjoyed staying at this place. It was super clean and comfortable. Also great hosts. It was also centrally located to all the places we needed to attend in Mcallen and Edinburg area. I Highly recommend staying here. You won't regret it.

Simon was great and very attentive. Check in was easy, the home was clean and comfortable. My only complaint and it’s so little that it doesn’t even matter, but there wasn’t any soap to wash dishes. I did go buy some as we were there for 4 nights :) I would definitely stay here again or any of Simon’s properties!

Another fantastic stay with Simon

We've stayed with Simon and his team for a few visits, and as usual he did not disappoint. The apartment is adorable, very basic, but has everything. It's the perfect place for my daughter and I to unwind. The beds are super comfortable and the covered parking spot is a plus. Simon is super helpful and communicative with any questions. Highly recommend!

Clean apartment!

I loved that I was upgraded to a gated community. Apartment was well kept and spacious. We will definitely stay again. Manager was readily available and prompt in responding!

Clean and on top of it

The property was clean and well stocked for our quick family holiday trip. Simón was very communicative and replied soon after I texted him. The only issue was with the WiFi. We couldn’t figure out if it was something we were doing wrong or something was wrong with the WiFi extender.

Great place to chill

The property is exactly as pictured. The beds are quite comfortable and it was great having access to a washer/ dryer since we had an extended stay. The only frustration was the supplies were low for the stay (not enough towels, toilet paper, no dish soap) but there's a Dollar General within walking distance for any last minute needs. I will say we never spoke with the VRBO host about supplies because it was easy to manage for ourselves. Any communication with the host was excellent and they were exceptionally accomodating. Would 100% recommend this place. Had considered a hotel instead, but this was 100x better.

The refrigerator was stinky otherwise it was good. Also you didn’t have any handicap cap rails in the bathroom please think about the other ones maybe a shower needs to be installed for the persons who need help walking. And the temperature took a long time to get comfortable couldn’t sleep good

My reservation was canceled at the time we arrived to the property. They said they had tried calling me to inform me, but they didn't. A couple of days earlier they had email me to confirm the reservation and said everything was set. Hope i can get my refund from them...

Don’t do it!

When you find out about where you are going to be staying minutes before check in is no longer available for you to stay in is a horrible way to find out. Then you are left to scramble and find a new place all last minute was we ended up experiencing. The only good thing was I did get my money back from the person right away. But just to be left with no help or options for my family and I to stay anywhere. And for this I Will NEVER use VRBO again!!!

Alex, I extend my sincerest apologies for the disappointing experience you faced. A water main break occurred on the morning of your check-in, leading to minor flooding and damage to the unit, resulting in the cancellation. We made efforts to offer an alternative property of ours with matching amenities, which was the only one available at that time. Thank you

Property manager switched properties an hour before we arrived. Property is in a really rough area with people loitering outside all hours. The inside is a bit better than the outside but not much better. Was told the door code was the last 4 of my phone number. It wasn’t and property manager never responded to my requests to change it. Luckily, the property manager left the last renters phone number on my contract, so I was able to figure out how to get inside. Too many nice places in Edinburg to rent this one again.
