The good: The home was clean, a short walk to the lake, just as described.
The bad: they most likely sent me check-in instructions. However, they did not come from a VRBO account and did not come from the name of the management company named in the listing. That means that I got a random email to my junk inbox from a company I’ve never heard of. So, of course, I deleted it. I messaged the host for hours on VRBO app, no response. I got a wonderful VRBO help center person on the phone who worked for well over an hour to get the info I needed to check in (by this time, 3 or 4 hours after check in time).
It was infuriating.
The house was great.
