Outside you’ll find BBQ, corn-hole, horseshoes, snow-play and much more! Family-fun upstairs, quiet relaxation downstairs... perfect for family members of all ages to get together for some quality time!

Feeling adventurous? You won’t need to touch pavement to enjoy endless miles of hiking and biking trails accessible directly off of the back deck! In the winter-time, those same trails are great for hiking, sledding, snowshoes, and XC skis!

This home is equipped with super-fast 444 Mbps wifi. On the new LG OLED TVs you will find all the major networks via YouTube TV, plus HBO Max, Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, ESPN+ and more streaming services. Also features video game systems including Nintendo Switch.

Home backs to a forest and meadow. Beautiful setting. Bears and coyotes frequent the area. They will leave you alone, please leave them alone. Little critters (squirrels, chipmunks, lots of birds, etc.) are all over. We love them!

Amazing Getaway

This house is an amazing spot to get away and have a relaxing, quiet getaway! The neighborhood is really nice and it is only about a 10 to 15 minute drive to anywhere you'd want to go! The game room upstairs was perfect for our kids and the hot tub was divine! We have stayed at a lot of rentals and would definitely recommend this property!

Best home in Tahoe hands down!

This is our favorite place to stay in Tahoe. We wouldn’t change a thing about this home. Town is 10-15 minutes away. The view of the meadow with a walking trail out back is perfection. It is the coziest, comfiest home for families and it’s fun! We look forward to coming here every year. The host is awesome. Great communication and super responsive.

Beautiful quiet home with gorgeous forest views

FIVE BIG STARS. The home was spotless, and the beds and couches were very comfortable. Lots of nice touches, like sound machines for light sleepers and dimmers on many of the lights. The kitchen has everything you need. My family especially enjoyed the gorgeous forest views and hot tub. I really savored how remote everything felt, especially being at the end of the road in a small neighborhood, and yet, we were only 10 minutes from downtown South Lake Tahoe, so we felt close to the action at the same time. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and the owner was friendly and responsive. If you’re in the area for a few days, you should definitely stay here. I’d also recommend you take a boat tour of the lake, spend a day in Virginia City, eat at Hell’s Kitchen in Harvey’s Casino, and see Magique one evening in Reno.

Best Rental in the South Shore

We go to the South Shore every year and after we found this house rental last year we knew this would be our go to choice in Tahoe. We were lucky to be able to book this place for a second time. This house is only 10 minutes from the Casinos and Heavenly or 15 minutes to Camp Richardson. It faces a meadow where you can watch wildlife or go for a hike on the trails right outside your door. There is a hot tub, super fun game room upstairs and just the most comfortable couches. You have everything you need to prepare a meal including spices and Tupperware for leftovers. The house is kept very clean and there is an AC for those unusually hot days. There are two rooms downstairs and one room with two queen beds upstairs. It’s our favorite home and books up quickly.

Winter Getaway

This property was perfect! We were a group of 6 and we all had plenty of space and all the amenities we could as for! The host was beyond accommodating and explained everything so well. We had a great time! High recommend if you’re look to have a relaxing stay away from the main part of town, but a short drive away!

Wonderful house

We had a fantastic stay. The house was clean and supplied with everything you could need. We enjoyed the hiking trails, all the games, hammocks, jacuzzi, and the location was perfect to see a concert and enjoy the casinos. We'll be back. Thanks Kyle!

Great time!

Great time at Kyles lovely home In Tahoe. Kids loved the upstairs area. Adults loved the deck and the hot tub. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, beds were clean and comfy. Nice selection of apps on the tv. I’ve stayed at 150+ vrbo properties and this was in the top 5!

Wonderful location & Home

Everything you would need for a large group with 3 bedrooms and two full bathrooms plus a wonderful upstairs game room for the kids. The location is perfect at the end of a cul-de-sac and has wonderful views. Very well laid out home with more than everything we could ask for. Thanks for having us!

Excellent Family Cabin!

My family of 3 visited in the off season and had a great time. The cabin was spacious and just as pictured. Kyle was very responsive throughout our stay. My only issue that was minimal is that anyone can wall through the backyard due to it back up to the forest. It was kind of odd being in a hot tub with someone walking there dog so close but other than that it was great. The game room was a nice addition my son enjoyed having all the options. We would definitely stay again!

Great location

We had a great time staying here and will plan to stay again. The house was clean and well stocked with entertainment. With little kids, we especially liked the convenient hiking trails to get out right from the back yard of the house.

Beautiful private wooded backyard

We were so happy with this property. It was everything we wanted for are stay. The house was well stocked with items we needed for cooking. The game room kept the grandkids busy. We enjoyed the backyard the most. The hot tub was clean and in the perfect place to enjoy. Right on the deck. We saw Bear & coyote . They were just coming threw, felt no threat. The house was very clean. The owner was amazing in returning email question I sent. Hope to stay here again if we ever get back to Tahoe.

Wonderful Tahoe Weekend!

We had a great extended weekend over the 4th ofJuly. Kyle is an exceptional host who kept in touch with us providing excellent guidance throughout the process. When he found out we had a grand baby joining us he purchased a pack & play and a high chair for us and future guests to use! The house was wonderful with great furnishings and the location is exceptional, with a National Forest as the backyard! Great walking or biking trails are easily accessible and wildlife is viewable from the back deck! The deck is equipped with a grill and hot tub which was great after a day on the lake! The upstairs air conditioner helped cool things down on those rare hot days in the mountains. My family and I had a great time and experience! Thank you Kyle for sharing your property!

We will be back!

We had an amazing stay!! It was very clean, seemed to be well stocked with everything in the kitchen (didn’t cook too much), Kyle, the host was very helpful and super responsive! The layout was great and we had so much to do. The location was ideal, not in the middle of a bunch of houses where you had no backyard. We had room to explore, 10 mins from mtn heavenly and close to restaurants too! We will definitely be back!!

Loved it!

This property is super fun, clean and well equipped. Tons of awesome entertainment in the house that we barely touched because the great outdoors is right out the back door. The hot tub was perfect. Kyle was a great host and super responsive to my inquiries. We will be back!

Five Star Vacation Home

We love to travel and have stayed at quite a number of VRBO and Airbnb homes. This one rates among our top stays. Foremost, the home was clean. We had a 1-year-old with us and had no qualms about him playing on the floor. The kitchen was clean and fully equipped with everything needed to prepare homecooked meals. Loved that the home backs up to greenspace. We went hiking right out the backdoor and enjoyed the view sitting on the back deck. Fantastic space for little ones to discover/explore nature. The upstairs provides great game play space. There is a large ottoman that worked well for board games. Although we did not watch a lot of TV or play video games, there were a wide variety of options for both of those activities. Skeeball, shuffleboard and foosball were a lot of fun. The owner is communicative and responds promptly to any questions/concerns. We are hoping to return to Lake Tahoe in the future and would stay in this home again in a heartbeat.

Family Summer Bliss

What an incredible experience! Beautiful house with all the amenities. Super clean which made us feel very safe during these times. Everyone enjoyed the spacious outdoor deck and game room. Parents dream as the kids explored while we relaxed on the deck after long days of beach and sun! The hot tub was the perfect for stargazing after the littles we’re in bed. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Walden Meadows Was Spectacular

Nothing in life is perfect, but our stay at Walden Meadows was pretty close. The cabin was ideal for our family of four. It was just the right size and in the right location. It was extremely comfortable and clean. The upstairs and downstairs couches were very comfortable, and our family fell asleep on the upstairs couch while watching Shark Week one night. The appliances were incredibly clean and operational. Everything seemed brand new. The bedrooms were also comfortable and clean. The televisions and games in the cabin kept the kids busy in the mornings and evenings. And that was just inside the cabin. Outside the cabin there was even more- plenty of forest for the kids to explore and play in, and for us to hike in together. We used the Weber grill and enjoyed the hot tub on the back deck along with the outdoor furniture. Finally, Kyle was an incredible host who exceeded all of our expectations. After we booked, he communicated with us regularly, even recommending a fishing spot for us. He is very organized and the instructions for the cabin are clear and easy to follow. Kyle is the rare VRBO host who goes above and beyond guest expectations to ensure customer satisfaction. While we were hesitant to book Walden Meadows at first because it was above our target price range, we were glad that we did, and it was worth the money. We hope we can return to Tahoe and Walden Meadows for another great vacation!

Fantastic stay!

Renting with Kyle was a breeze. Everything in the house was as promised and Kyle was responsive to questions very quickly. The home is clean and was perfect for 7 of us. Having a forest as your backyard is amazing!

Amazing Tahoe Cabin in the meadow

My family and I decided to plan a nice getaway trip to Tahoe for a few days. I am so glad I came across Kyle’s cabin! Kyle has been great since I booked the trip and we have been messaging back and forth before, during and after my stay. The cabin was beautiful! Right next to a meadow and a nice trail to walk on. The cabin was very clean and had a lot of fun things to do. There was a TV with a lot of streaming sites. Upstairs had a cool game room with skee ball, foosball table, shuffle board, and tons of video games! We also had a great time in the hot tub looking out into the meadow at the beautiful scenery. I will definitely be booking this cabin again for my next Tahoe trip.

We are an close family that has always loved everything that Lake Tahoe has to offer. Our favorite activities include boating, mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, paddle boarding, kayaking, golfing, and exploring the lake and its many attractions. Despite frequent visits, we always seem to discover something new while also enjoying all of our favorite past-times. We camped and rented vacation homes all around the lake for years before we found this perfect home. Once the kids are out of school we plan to move in to this house permanently. Until then, we hope you love it as much as we do!

We only looked at homes that back to open space. When we found this home with it’s one-of-a-kind beautiful setting and classic Tahoe charm, we just had to have it! We have spent the 5+ past years improving it and feel it’s just about perfect now.
