Tasteful and comfortable retreat for a ski holiday

The house is very tastefully furnished, well located for a ski holiday (our purpose) and other purposes, and comfortable for a group of friends or family. The family/dining room with long dining table, view of the lake, and wood stove makes for a wonderfully pleasant winter vacation evening.

Perfect getaway on a tranquil lake

Everything was exactly as described. The house was clean and welcoming. The owners quick to answer any questions. The lake is beautiful, clean and quiet. The town is within walking distance with every amenity (farmer's market, bakery, grocery store, drugstore, post office and bank). HIGHLY recommend!

Nice House, Could be cleaner supplies were short

Upon arrival, we did not have the code to get the keys to enter the house, had problems contacting the owner/manager. We wanted to BBQ our first night but there was no propane. Contacted owner again who called the neighbour as propane was locked in the garage. Neighbour was not home. We were told to purchase propane and be reimbursed. It was too late to do so. So no BBQ. We ran short of toilet paper, paper towels and dishwasher pods so bought some, left a few and took the rest home. We were told we could be reimbursed. but didn't bother with that. We also found the house to be quite visibly dusty. I took pictures to send to the owner/manager. We also found a lack of bedding. There was none where the brochure said there would be some. This could be a beautiful rental property if the house was better maintained and not running short of supplies. On the other hand, the kids, young and old, enjoyed the use of the private dock, kayak and paddle boards, with life jackets supplied.

Bonjour Brenda, Je suis désolé que vous ayez vécu une expérience en deçà de vos attentes. Cela dit, permettez-moi de rectifier quelques points. Pour ce qui est de l’arrivée et des instructions pour les clés, je me permets de vous dire que vous êtes arrivés avant l’heure minimale d’arrivée, et que je vous ai donné le code pour les clés tout juste à l’heure prévue (16h00). Ensuite, pour le propane, je vous rappelle que nous vous avons offert une solution à court terme que vous avez refusée. Or si vous aviez accepté notre aide nous aurions pu constater ensemble que la bonbonne était en fait… pleine. Pour ce qui est de l’état général et des fournitures, c’est effectivement malheureux. Nous en ferons part à notre équipe d’entretien et cela ne se reproduira plus.

Très beau chalet rustique et super propre

Chalet très propre et très bien équipé. Vue superbe sur le lac et les montages. Accès à des sentiers dans le bois. Tranquille comme endroit, idéal pour décrocher et relaxer.
