Superb flat with bags of character.

The flat was as described and is only a short walk from everything. The skiing was great and excellent value - as was the Spa. The flat was comfortable and warm and I hope to go back next year.

Lovely accommodation

Great place to stay for a week's skiing I only gave it 4 stars as there was a problem with the Wifi whilst we were there though this was not the owners fault. Bernard himself is really friendly and helpful which is great if you haven't been to the area before.

wonderful accommodation & perfect place for us

We had initially travelled from Australia to arrive at Ax Les Thermes to continue our cycling holiday in France . We had contacted Bernard and he did everything he could to make our stay enjoyable & welcoming & it definitely was that. The cycling around Ax is excellent with some very well known climbs and beautiful valleys to explore. It's proximity to Andorra also makes for some cheap duty free or a day trip if it rains. The apartment was perfect for our needs with two bedrooms and several sleeping options, including the futon in the lounge & all the kitchen appliances one would need for a welcoming self catering stay. Being only a couple of hundred metres from town makes eating out an easy option also. We will be back. Jeff & Kel

"I am an American expat who lives in France. I have rented apts. for many years all over France, Italy, the U.K. and Greece. I was completely amazed by what I found in renting this property. I have never found any place which was more conform to the description. In fact, this property was beyond the description. Though it is not an elegant 4 star hotel, everything about it is superb in every way. It is clean, there is more equipment and dishes for cooking and dining than you will ever need. It includes a great number of cleaning products, the apt. is accessible in the center of town, it is perfectly silent with big garden and views to town and the mountain. The apt. is light and airy, there are two sleeping spaces which are completely separate having doors in between each one of them. This property is near to everything, the skis lift, the excellent thermal baths, the town center with its shops, restaurants, bars, post office,and the casino. The apt. has wifi, flat screen TV, DVDs & player, and films. The photos of this rental are fine, but not as good as the reality. The best thing about it, however, is the owner, Bernard Fornier. He did everything he possibly could to insure a fine holiday. I did not have a car so he picked me up at the train station, took me around town to pick up my skis and some food, showed me where to find things; he even ran an errand for me in neasrby Andorra. When it was time to leave he drove me back to the train station always helping me with my luggage. I have never met a landlord who is so accommodating, so very helpful, and when you thank him he explains that he gets great pleasure from helping others. He is sensitive to the needs of his renters and goes out of his way to make sure that they have a pleasant stay. You will never find an owner like this gentleman. If you are staying in AX this is the best place you will find. You might find something more luxurious and more expensive, but you will not find anything where the value for the price is better; it just doesn''t exist. Do not miss the opportunity to spend a relaxing, restful, and restorative vacation in this apt. You will not regret it. in all sincerity, S.Murarius "

Cure à la Villa Coecilla

Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir du beau temps et nous avons profité du parc-jardin sur deux niveaux ! Sécher le linge en extérieur et apérots sur le salon de jardin qui jouxte la villa. Belle bâtisse du 19ème au charme certain, nous sommes à l'appartement du second, deux chambres dont une grande, avec deux lits, qui peut accueillir des amis avec enfants ... Grande salle de bain lumineuse et living confort et très bon accueil ! Merci au plaisir.

Eau soufrée et air pur à Ax-les-Thermes

J'ai passé un très agréable séjour de 3 semaines dans la villa Coecila où se situe l'appartement proposé. Cette demeure, construite au début du 20ème siècle, se situe à 2 pas du centre-ville et des thermes. Le jardin attenant est très agréable et on peut y profiter du soleil sur les nombreux transats et chaises de jardin mis à disposition. L'appartement en lui-même est très bien équipé et dispose même d'une connexion wi-fi. Pas d'intérieur "Ikéa" formaté, mais des meubles rétro et du beau parquet d'origine qui donnent au tout un élégant cachet ancien. Bernard, le propriétaire, est très serviable et répond sans problèmes aux sollicitations de ses locataires. Il propose un très intéressant service de transfert de l'aéroport de Toulouse à Ax-les-Thermes. Il donne également volontiers de nombreux conseils et informations sur la région. Une adresse à recommander pour les curistes, randonneurs et autres amateurs de ski!

Semaine très agréable dans un environnement calme et reposant. Propriétaire accueillant et sympathique. L'appartement est conforme à la description. Rien ne manque. Des vacances pleinement agréables.

Pour le cadre, la maison respire les splendeurs du siècle passé, on a l'impression que le temps s'arrête, (parfait pour un séjour anti-stress), Tous les espaces sont d'une propreté irréprochable. Inutile d'utiliser la voiture puisque tout est à proximité, c'est appréciable. Et pour l'accueil extrêmement agréable qui permet de se sentir tout de suite en vacances.Et puis le calme..!!! Une adresse à retenir, une adresse où revenir.
