Perfect location

We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The location is a very short walk to the beach. Parking is a little unclear and confusing, and the shower in the bathroom on the west side was not working. Those were the only issues, and they were small. Would stay again.

Kids love me parents want to move in!

I was visiting friends at coast and have large dogs that just don’t get along with hers. So, we decided to accommodate me and dogs and have kids come over and do beach time and porch time. It was perfect. The house easily accommodates more. I’ve been to many of the beaches along 101 and there is a reason this one is still considered a hidden gem!

Short Family Getaway

Our group consisted of 5 adults. None of our group had ever visited Pacific City and looked forward to a short getaway. Weather was not great, so we spent most of our time in the rental. We went 3/11-3/13. A few relevant comments. Pros: - Cute little house with an open floor plan that maximizes the smaller SQF of the home. -Very close to the beach, but one will need to be able to navigate a moderately steep climb when using the trail. -Wi-Fi service -Quiet neighborhood. -Meredith Lodging quickly reviewed the property and they were able to advise on the parking situation pretty quickly. Cons: -NO CELL Service. We use AT&T and First Net for first responders which is supposed to improve your access to cell service. (?) -Confusing Parking - Once inside the house, I was able to use the house’s Wi-Fi to call Meredith Lodging to inquire about where to park. Hint, for Tierra Del Mar, the parking is in the driveway of the larger house to the right of it! * I was not notified of the access code on the day of our arrival. Thank goodness I reached out and got the code on our way while we had still had cell service. Otherwise we wouldn’t have been able to get into the home to use the Wi-Fi calling to contact Meredith Lodging. BTW, no AT&T/First Net cell service in Pacific City or for the last 30 miles into Pacific City off Hwy 130. -Quiet neighborhood on a dead end gravel/dirt road with potholes. -The kitchen table/chairs were so uncomfortable we couldn’t sit at the table for meals. The table consists of a narrow, creeky, homemade wood table. The worst part was the metal patio like chairs. Not only were they ridiculously uncomfortable, but the have SHARP edges! -Living room sectional has no support. Since its too soft it makes it hard to get up from it. -Small fridge, so just plan on bringing a cooler for the patio to accommodate beverages. We had an enjoyable family weekend and would absolutely consider booking this property again when the dining room set and the living room furniture get an upgrade.

Great gathering space and well equipped kitchen. Unfortunately the dishwasher was broken when tried to use it and the property manager didn’t follow through with repairing it. Also the bench in the kitchen was ready to break so we didn’t use it. The location is so lovely and they layout so conducive that we will give a couple of suggestions hoping they are addressed when we return. It’s time to replace the couch cushions. It’s a great couch design—just needs new foam. And the caulking in the shower stall is not up to the standard of the rest of the house renovations. Lastly some sort of outside fire option (propane) would be lovely. The beach is only two houses away with wide space for lots of sand play. The rental will forever be a part of our five-year-old grandson’s first memories of the ocean.

Great location!

We loved the location of this rental! It was just steps to the beach. The beach was also pretty empty. The house is a little echoey since it’s all hard floors and not much on the wall to dampen sound. The parking was very confusing, we parked in front of the garage on the right of the main house.

Great beach house

Everything worked! Nice layout, great flooring consideration for the coast. Well stocked kitchen, lots of dvds, and board games. Electric fireplace, kept us snuggely warm. I did miss a hairdryer though. The parki g is a mystery, and we never did get it fugured put. Brst part? The Bunnies running allover the place, cutest thing ever!us snugg

Tierra del mar OR beach getaway

Three bedrooms (2 rooms with king beds, 1 with twin over double bunk beds), with two full bathrooms (one has washer&dryer), full kitchen, and plenty of space in a quiet residential neighborhood within a short walk to a great beach.

Great value… nice efficient and simple decor! Loved that!

Overall- very clean and comfortable. Nice and close to the beach and amenities were as advertised. A few suggestions..the plates had a few chips as did a cup. Would have loved some plastic cups to carry to the beach- needed some big serving bowls, Pitchers etc. Loved the options on the tv! Bathrooms were great. Were all the heaters on separate zones? - couldn’t find instructions on the heat etc. Really though- a good value. Thanks!! Very responsive management company. 😊

Nice place and location

The property description is accurate and the location is perfect - very close to the beach, close to cape Kiwanda and Pacific City, nice and quiet neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay.
