This is the first time we have visited the DR and we Absolutely Loved it! We were celebrating our anniversary and wanted a more quieter area, away from the spring breakers, and Cap Cana gave us exactly what we wanted! Everyone in the resort was so accommodating, they became like family by the end of our trip, which unfortunately we had to cut short due to the incoming snow storm in the Northeast!
The loft is beautiful and is located in a perfect spot, great views from the balconies etc.. The owner Kelly was TERRIFIC, she continued to communicate with us and give us pointers before and during our trip. We did have a major issue with the freezer/refrigerator (which was no fault of Kellys), the freezer was not working, so we never had ice during our trip and the refrigerator was not very cold and it was leaking and making loud noises. We notified Kelly and she called someone right away and they came out however, the problem was never fixed prior to our departure. This is the only reason why we did not give it a 5 star, we really like to have happy hour/cocktails on the deck, but being that we did not have ice it was hard to have a cold drink. One thing to keep in mind, if you like it dark when you sleep, you will not have this being that the loft is all open and there are no blinds for the top windows, we usually like it dark but we did not mind At All being you wake up to absolutely beautiful views! Overall we had a Fantastic experience, I would highly recommend the all inclusive option, especially if you like to drink and eat, the food is Great and there is a different menu for dinner (only) every night. Thanks again, to the owner Kelly for always keeping in touch and giving advice and taking care of us! She also left us a bottle of Ice wine, but unfortunately we did not get to drink, we were saving it for our last night but with having to book a last min. flight to get home we never had the opportunity to open the bottle. The gesture and thought was so nice! We Loved Cap Cana!
