The Lofty Perch. A two bedroom loft with magnificent views of the ocean.

Two bedroom loft with a three piece bathroom. Air conditioned open concept full kitchen, living room and dining room. Large comfy couch, 55" smart TV with NETFLIX, Spotify, Prime Video, etc... One bedroom has a queen size bed, the other has 2 single beds. Loft has a spacious deck with ample outdoor living, equipped with BBQ and magnificent views of the ocean.

Staying here you will experience nature at its finest. Only 5 mins from Terra Nova Park, Canada's most easterly national park, where you can enjoy kayaking or boating from sheltered bays to breathtaking coastlines. Also explore the 11 beautiful hiking trails it has to offer.

After touring the many local sites, head back to the Lofty Perch and take in the night show. The waters become like glass as the spectacular sunsets dip below the horizon and the loons echo across the bay. As the night falls the brilliant starlit sky will light the way to a relaxing evening.

Lovely place with all amenities.

Beautiful property! Very quiet. Clean, with all amenities, looks like brand new. View is great from the huge deck. Is a little off the beaten path, but good access, with nature all around. Has Wi-Fi access as well as washer and dryer. Ability to climb the stairs up to the deck and entrance is required.

Terra Nova stay

Ideally located to visit Terra Nova and trails. The loft is beautifully decorated and I felt at home. Very clean apartment, had everything we needed to use as a base and kick back and relax. The host was very friendly and helpful. I would move in if I could. Highly recommend!

Peaceful location, well appointed lodgings. Wish we could have stayed longer. The views of Alexander Bay were truly amazing. Coffee, reading and watching the glorious sunset. Can't thank you enough for your hospitality!

Even better in person

The photos on the website are accurate but somehow the Lofty Perch seemed even nicer in person. I was fortunate to have beautiful weather so I spent long days out exploring in the park, kayaking, and hiking followed by dinner on the deck, watching the sunset. But I would have been very comfortable hunkering down inside with a good book had it rained for part of my stay. As a solo traveler, it was reassuring to have the owners right next door. They greeted me when I arrived and were available if I needed anything, but everything I could have wanted for a short stay was provided. I appreciated that they respected my privacy.

Absolutely Outstanding getaway near Terra Nova National Park

My family and I had one of the best times ever in our many, many years of travel staying at the Lofty Perch. The house, furniture, appliances, everything in the house was top notch. We could have stayed for weeks and still felt right at home! The hosts were available when needed, and their attention to detail was quite obvious. The location was perfect, quiet, beautiful views and so close to the National Park for hiking, boating, fishing, etc. We hope to travel back soon to experience this perfect place.

Perfect stay

The loft was pristine and well equipped with anything you may need. Tastefully decorated to give it a country cozy feel. We met the hosts who are beautiful, friendly people. We would definitely stay there again if vacationing in the area.

Peaceful Family Weekend Getaway

What a beautiful location and home away from home for our family! Brian and Anna-Mae are friendly and thoughtful hosts. They perfectly anticipated all the extra comforts we could have needed for our stay. Super clean and well-organized. Modern but still cozy and welcoming. A gorgeous evening sunset over the ocean from our patio. An easy drive to fresh and salt water beaches, hikes, parks, etc. Hoping to return again! Thanks so much!
