We are the third generation to own our Camp on Beech Hill
When my grandfather built here in the 1940's there was no road to the property, they had to hike in. There were very few camps on the lake at that time.
In order to get supplies to the property that were to heavy to pack in, they waited until the ice froze and drove a truck across the lake to the sight, dropped off the supplies and came back in the Spring to continue building. One of the heavy items was my Grandmothers cast iron wood burning cook stove, unfortunately we had to remove it so our guests could enjoy a modern kitchen. Don't worry about the stove it is now at our hunting camp up north.
