This was an absolute dream set up with the casitas and perfect, prime location. The property owners were amazing to communicate with and the property grounds were perfection. I would love to make this a permit destination to stay yearly. The property owner even reached out about some shorts that were left and offered to return them.10 out of 10

Everything about this place is easy. Check in is clear, the apartment has everything you need - plenty of dishes, towels and toiletries. The owners are extremely communicative. Comfortable beds and great amenities. Highly recommend.

Beware, You're on Camera

The owner has a camera on the patio that is turned back towards the interior. Clearly the camera can see into the unit, he knew we slept on the sofa sleeper. CREEPY, possibly perverted. We've filed a formal complaint with VRBO and the complex. Otherwise, it's a nice unit. Well maintained and well stocked. If the camera wasn't looking into the unit, would have been a 5 star review.

Great unit at a wonderful resort!

We have stayed at this resort multiple times and it’s one of our favorites! The grounds are beautiful, well maintained, and you can’t beat having so many pools to swim in . This was our first time staying in this unit but it was clean, spacious and well stocked for all of our family’s needs, including books and a few snacks for the kids when we arrived! The location is awesome, right on a corner with large grass area right outside. It’s also on the main walking path with safe, easy accesss to the main pool and clubhouse. We will be back :)

Wonderful, well appointed villa with amazing views!

We had a wonderful stay in this villa. The location is excellent, with amazing views from the patio and inside the unit. The unit was very well appointed, and had everything we needed. It was also very clean, and nicely upgraded. Michael the host was very responsive and easy to work with. We hope to be back again soon!

A Oasis of a Villa in the Dessert

Had a fabulous 4 nights stay with my husband, brother and sister in law on a spring get away from the cold and snow. Was perfect weather! Owner Michael is very responsive and helpful with restaurant recommendation and such. The villa is very comfortable and private, and conveniently located, with just a short drive to quaint Indian Wells' restaurants, shops, and tennis garden. I was impressed that the villa's security gate had my name in an instant when we pulled up, and our late evening entrance/check- in was a breeze. The grounds are beautiful landscaped, meticulously cared for, and quiet. We especially enjoyed the French doors off the dining area that open up to an outdoor covered patio with a big dining table for our breakfasts and happy hours. The patio has lovely views of the mountain, a large lush common grassy area with palms, bougainvilleas, and a big elegant fountain. The walk paths to the pools, fitness center, and bar are also lovely - lined with fountains and citrus trees, and are warmly lit in the evening. We found the master bedroom suite to be very comfortable with good linens, fireplace, a big tub, and a separate shower. It has a private patio, and we loved to crack the door in the early morning to hear the birds singing away! The second bedroom and bath are notably smaller, but my brother and sister in law found it comfortable and adequate. The kitchen had everything we needed - even basic spices and such. We hope to be back!

Great Stay at Legacy Villas

What is great about this place: 1. The setting with a view of the Santa Rosa mountains. The patio setting for meals is divine. 2. The beach towels for the swimming pools and hot tubs. The pools were clean, clear, and warm/hot. 3. The large fitness center. 4. The large capacity washer and dryer with detergent, as well as other cleaning supplies. 5. The owner’s responsive and immediate help when we needed it. 6. The staples the owners left for us (spices, paper products, etc.). That was considerate and wonderful! (We left our leftover non-perishables for them.) 7. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pans, utensils, storage containers, etc. 8. Master bedroom and bath are spacious. Extra towels were provided. Suggestions for improvement: 1. A teapot, preferably electric with automatic shut off after heating. 2. An additional light in the guest bedroom so there are reading lamps on both sides of the bed.

A beautiful property and wonderful hosts

My wife and I recently stayed at Michael & Zoe's beautiful villa in La Quinta, CA for a quick get-away with our two young children, ages 3 and 5. Overall the villa was beautifully furnished and we could not have asked for a better quick vacation. The villa had all of the right amenities we needed for our family to enjoy the area and, overall, the villa's location and surroundings were beautiful. We hope to return again soon! Thank you!

Spectacular Stay

There are so many little things that make this villa spectacular. The little things just pile up: the soaps in the shower, the new laundry machines with soap and even dryer sheets, a completely stocked kitchen, and even beach towels. The location is close to so much and the pools and hot tubs everywhere. We hope to be back soon!

Lovely La Quinta

This first floor unit at Legacy Villa is the perfect location in the development. It has beautiful views of the mountains and quick access to the walking path and overlooks the wide grassy lawn and water feature. The inside of the unit has recent cabinet upgrades. The owners of this property are very attentive with any questions or concerns and we would definitely stay with them again. Our family enjoyed an entire week in this unit over Thanksgiving and we could not have had a more relaxing week. Plenty of space for a family of 4 to spread out or come together for meals or movies. Fun Family Getaway!

We brought our two year old daughter for a few days. The property was nice and we felt very safe. The villa was comfortable and had everything we needed. Michael was also very nice and easy to communicate with. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to go back!

Stylish/comfy condo in legacy villa

My 12 year old daughter and I stayed the weekend at the condo as we were taking part in the Desert International horse show. It was perfect. The condo was very tastefully decorated and roomy. The pool was close and the communication with Zoe snd Michael was very helpful I would stay here again for trip away

Great, spacious place!

We enjoyed our stay. The condo is spacious and well appointed. We were happy that we were on the ground floor and could enjoy the surrounding mountain views from the patio. We would stay again.

Our family has been coming to the California Desert for nearly 40 years and we enjoy sharing homes at our favorite and extraordinary destinations! We began in 1967 in Aspen, Colorado where we still own and operate luxury ski-in / ski-out residences. We found the winter climate in the Coachella Valley to be similar to the perfect summer climate of the Aspen Valley and love them both!
