Lake Sinclair Stay

Great house and overall property and experience. The house has plenty of room for our large party and everybody loves it. The landscaping is immaculate and the beach/dock were perfect for lounging and entertaining. Thanks so much for the great experience!

Great house with a fantastic view of the lake. Full basement with two bedrooms and a bathroom. Very clean with a well manicured yard. We stayed in the upstairs master bedroom which had a private bathroom. The thermostat is down stairs so the master bedroom got a little warm but not too bad. A mini split system for that room would definitely fix the situation. The screened in porch with the view of the lake was awesome. We would definitely come back again.

We definitely enjoyed our stay here! There was plenty of room and amenities for our group of 12. The beach area was a great place to hang out and swim with our family since the water level was perfect at the dock. The only downside was the quality of cleanliness. There was dog hair in one of the beds and on the porch. There were items left under the beds. The entire house could use a deep clean for sure. For the cost of the stay, a perfectly clean house is expected.

Another great year!

Our second year as a family. Temps were blazing hot, nearing 100 degrees daily…SO… life in the water and on the dock was a MUST. Then, retreating to a well air/conditioned home was a treat. Sleeping was excellent. Quiet during the week with only a few jet skis. Loved taking the teens fishing and on boat rides. Could not have asked for more.

Outstanding Place

The guest coordinator Rachel was great. The house has everything you need. Located on a smooth part of the lake. Marina located 5 min from house by boat, which is nice. A great place to stay.

Words just don’t do justice to how nice it was. It was very clean, beautifully decorated, had awesome landscaping, and fit our every need. This was our third stay at a lake house at Lake Sinclair and it was by far the best.

Perfect for 3 families and lots of ages/stages

We’ve rented this house multiple times. It works well for us. It has a fabulous screened porch with an amazing view down the lake. Another side screened porch is so handy for flats of water, coolers, boat stuff, floats, etc. Dock is great. Beach is great. Water toys—paddle board, oars, kayaks, and more were all great. Local spot to unload your boat is great. We had kids ages 2-6 as well as younger and older adults. Inside the house there are lots of books, puzzles, games, toys for all ages. We adored the inside basketball game-so much fun!Each of our families have a floor to themselves for bath and bedrooms, and we would mingle around the kitchen, living room and screened porch. There is also a walk out covered area on the lower floor with great furniture and a swing with a view of the lake. Landscaping is beautiful. House is beautiful.

Wonderful vacation

This is a great lake house! Easy access to the water with a gentle slope, small beach for wading, deep water for diving/swimming at the end of the dock. The house is well maintained, well provisioned, beautifully landscaped, and a lovely view. The kitchen is very small - but doable. Bedrooms & living areas were comfortable. It was also nice to have the downstairs den for the kids to go to.

Reunion Weekend

The place is very nice with 2 big porches to sit and enjoy even though the weather was cold and rainy. During our stay, the kitchen table was in the basement because of bench construction in the dining area. A bit awkward. Overall, the place was perfect for the 5 of us friends to catch up. Would definitely go back.

Stunning Views!

Beautiful home with stunning lake views! Home has some interior modifications which aren’t reflected in the photos. - simple update would rectify that. Management company representative, Rachel was such a pleasure to work with! Our family had a great time!

Communication is key.....

When we arrived at the property, it had not been cleaned from the previous stay. After seeing a post stating the same complaint with this property, I called the day before our arrival and Rachel assured me everything was ready. When I called Rachel she assured me the cleaning lady would be there in 15 minutes. After 1 1/2 hours I called again and she said the lady would be there shortly. When the cleaning lady finally arrived I told her what areas needed more attention than others, mainly the bathrooms which had sinks full of long hairs and dead bugs throughout the house. I was busy cooking dinner when the cleaning lady left. I later received a text message from Rachel asking if she had done a good job. I called Rachel again and told her that she did not leave bathroom towels, kitchen towels, garbage bags or paper towels, and the Keurig machine was not in the hall closet. She responded that she would personally bring her Keurig the next morning along with the other items. She never showed up and did not answer when I called her later. She needs to be fired!!!!!!! As far as the house, let me say a few positives: the yard is beautifully manicured and the house is lovely. Now, the negatives: this house desperately needs to be cleaned both inside and outside. The sofa, loveseat and seat are very worn and uncomfortable. The kitchen lacks in some of the basics such as measuring spoons. Also the garbage needs to be picked up or taken off the property before the next guests arrive. There were two garbage cans outside filled to the top so we had a hard time putting our garbage in when we left. Please note: I have rented properties for over 30 years and have never encountered such bad customer service. Needless to say I will not recommend this property to anyone.

Cleaning Personal for this location

The actual place absolutely beautiful! However our contact Rachel delayed us 2 hours to even get in because she forgot we were coming. Place had to be cleaned. We traveled 5 hours with an infant so this was extremely inconvienant. Then we were told we could stay longer on our check out day by our contact Rachel because of the check in delay but was texted that morning we needed to be out by 12. So got an extra hour last min. So we scurried around to get everything together and out the house. After we left then recieved a text from our contact Rachel that the place was trashed!! Really!! Are you kidding me! I took pictures! It's not trashed! Fyi, might want to consider a new management, contact, cleaner... Might help keep things running smoother!!!!!!!

Family get away 2020

Property was great although it does need some attention, i.e., lacks adequate towels for 3 bathrooms, no pillow cases (probably oversight by cleaning crew), dishwasher leaked, does not have a decent coffee pot, door knob to exterior door coming off, etc. Property manager is also the cleaning lady. She is very nice and tries to be accommodating. Met the owner prior to our stay and he too was very nice and accommodating. Beds are excellent!! Would stay here again!

Perfect for 3 generation family time. Something for everyone. Lots of unique features.

6 adults with 3 children 2 year old and under were beautifully accommodated at this property. The home is 3 levels, each with a bath, and either one or two bedrooms. Each of our 3 families spread our on their own floor. The rooms had comfortable bedding arrangements, allowing parents to sleep with their toddlers, and having room for their babies in pack 'n plays--which were provided. There were two lovely inside common areas, as well as 2 screened in porches which were magnificent in view and comfort. This is the first home we've ever rented that had 2 large screened in areas and a deck as well. The yard is the most beautiful yard--very well designed (to include a mini-beach our 2 year old just adored) with immaculate landscaping. The boat house and dock was spacious--including a hammock and 2 hanging swings. This house has too many wonderful unique features to mention, but definitely wanted to include the availability of a two person kayak and 2 paddleboards. We had a lot of fun with those. There are many child friendly touches, such as children's sand shovels and buckets for the beach, crayons and coloring books, floats and life vests, and even children dishes and cups in the kitchen. Did I mention 2 full sized refrigerators or the mini kitchen on the bottom floor? This is a wonderful location, beautiful view, well appointed, well laid out home with fabulous porches and outdoor enjoyment. Rent this for your next vacation to Lake Sinclair

Great house to visit with family

The house was great it had everything you need to entertain young children and we had a great time. My issue was with the cleanness of the property. There were still breadcrumbs under the table from the previous tenants. We arrived and found pollen dust everywhere that we had to sweep ourselves. There were even balloons in the living room probably from the previous tenant as well. Overall we had a nice stay. It would have been perfect if the house was clean.
