Arle's Nook

Arle’s Nook is just that, it’s a little nook nestled amongst our slice of paradise.
From comfort & warmth of a newly built cabin you over look our small farm and have some amazing mountain views and some equally amazing sunsets. Peace & tranquility take over as you are far enough out of town, while actually only being 2 minutes from Temuka's Town Centre, 15 minutes from Timaru's Caroline Bay and Town Centres Cafes and Shops and 8 minutes from Fonterra's Clandeboye Site.

Arle’s Nook is Air Conditioned, has a Small Kitchenette, a Very Comfortable Queen Bed, a Bathroom with Shower, a Living Area with a fold out couch that can sleep an additional 2 if needed, and a Private Deck for enjoying a refreshment or two.

Lovely little bach. Warm, clean, well equipped. Perfect size and facilities for 2 people. 5min max drive to Temuka and 20mins to Timaru. Lovley rural outlook. Faces away from main property so plenty of privacy. We would definately stay again:)

We came fown to Temuka to do some work, we have found Arles nook to be a lovely place to stay, handy to Temuka but rural.Great Shower, comfy bed. Nice comfy couch.Will definitely recommend to friends.

Graham's little cabin is perfect as we have family just down the road. Great to be rural and peaceful after a busy day. We will always stay here if available on our visits.

Cute farm hutt

The hutt is a prime location for a slice of a quiet farm escape. The driveway to the hutt is almost a min drive from the road so you must have a vehicle to drive here. The best feature is you have a great view of the mountains from the small deck provided that also has an outside table for you to have meals outside. There is just 1 entry sliding door that opens upto the open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen. The lounge sofa is also a pullout bed and the dining table has just 2 chairs that sits right under the TV and is directly over carpet which is prone to stains if you have kids. The bedroom is located on the left from the lounge with a big size bed and 2 small side draws. We arrived at night and things were looking great till we realised in the day time that the owners home was just located behind the hutt and a camera was facing vehicles that drive into the hutt or driveway which felt eerily. We were having a good time till it we checked out and i saw that i was requested by the owner to pay $800 for 2.5 hrs of cleaning, professional carpet cleaning and sofa and a replacement of a can opener which im sure hes found already and place was left in a reasonable state. The downside to this place is we washed and dryed the towels on our last night and forgot to take them out as we returned from the Laundromats late which meant we woke up late and had to rush to checkout on time and also catch our flights back home. It was only when we arrived at the airport did we find the towel

Cute little farm stay

We stayed here for a night along our road trip around NZ and we loved it! Super cute little place. Both my husband and I found the bed to be comfortable, and the house was very cozy and welcoming. There was adequate cooking supplies in the kitchen for us to cook breakfast as well. The only thing that had us wary at first was check in as no instructions were provided prior to our stay through the app but we just called the host number provided and were told how to access the property. It was seamless! We would definitely stay here again.

Clean, beautiful and the perfect stay for our little family. The Host was easily contactable for any issues too. It’s a perfect stay! Just be prepared there is a very small fridge so can’t store too much:) Thank you for the amazing stay we got to a lovely home away from home here!

A great little place to stay, would recommend to anyone

It as lovely, quiet with great views of the fields on the farm. Very clean with an amazing shower. So good we are going back later this week.

Wonderful, quiet retreat

We stayed for 26 nights. Easy check in and check out. Clean, modern and comfortable accommodation located on beautiful farmland with fantastic views of the snow-capped mountains. Great heating and cooling and always nice and warm despite the very cool temperature outside. Cows and sheep roam the paddocks nearby. Timaru, Geraldine and surrounding suburbs are an easy drive away. Great location for drives to Mount Cook, Dunedin, Lake Tekapo, Ashburton, Christchurch etc. Very comfortable bed and very fast WiFi. Graham is a terrific, friendly host. He was there to greet us on arrival and to say goodbye on our departure. He was only a phone call away if anything was needed and he was very responsive. After almost a month it felt like home and we were reluctant to finally leave. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks Graham.
