A Beautiful Winter Getaway

JANUARY BOOKINGS: For January bookings there is a five night minimum stay. Thank you. Set amongst eucalyptus trees, with kookaburras, king parrots, loop and cockatoos as your daily guests. This property is set to impress a family looking for a relaxing holiday in Lorne.

The space
A deeply enjoyable place to let go, relax and reflect. Ideally located in Lorne but with a distinctly bush feel, warmly and stylishly decorated, Belle's Surprise is the perfect place to unwind for couples, girls’ weekends, families, friends, international guests and your favourite pet.
The house has a large lounge room and open plan kitchen with a deck looking out to the back garden with a gas bbq and a large back yard. Great for playing cricket and relaxing.
A stand out cooks' kitchen/dining space for those who love to entertain- a mix of old world cookware and modern utensils, coffee machine, stove top espresso, french press. A country feast sized dining table that seats 8 in a bright, naturally light filled space with floor to wall window that overlooks the balcony and treed back garden. Teas and real coffee supplied as well as cooking essentials like salt and pepper, olive oil and sauce.
A sparkling bathroom with a big walk-in shower and a deep bath stocked with body wash, shampoo and conditioner.
All linen including bedding, sheets, bath towels and tea towels are provided.

Pets
Pets welcome by appointment. If you wish to bring a pet please contact me for further information. Please note, we do not have a secure, fenced garden.

Family break

Everyone enjoyed our stay at Lorne. The dogs had fun at the dog beach, the girls enjoyed the ice cream and my husband and l enjoy coffee and a fantastic egg and bacon roll.

Beautiful home

My 2 Dalmatians and I enjoyed the location and beautifully clean and spacious house, the host, Sharon left lovely local jams and treats that made us feel welcome, including blankets and towels for the dogs, definitely would select for future holidays

A wonderful and relaxing stay

We enjoyed a fabulous 5 days away - a lovely open, light and spacious property with glorious views over the garden, comfortable furnishings, a roaring fire and fabulously comfortable beds. Great provisions in the kitchen and a lovely bath to soak in. For us, it was a time to relax as a family and enjoy the local area. An absolute gem and highly recommended, Thankyou Sharon also for being a great and responsive host.

Thoughtfully appointed and beautiful setting.

Belle's Surprise was the perfect spot for a winter, beach getaway. We appreciated the open fireplace, outdoor sitting area, gorgeous bathroom which was stocked with quality towels and toiletries, and quant kitchen equipped with everything we needed. The property owner was a pleasure to deal with. This is our new favourite getaway spot!

We stayed at this property on a very wet weekend. I was so very impressed with the comfort of this little house. Beautifully fitted and decorated, this property was lovely and warm on a very miserable weekend. We were happy to stay in by the fire - the place was so cozy. Lots of lovely special touches for guest and a gorgeous gift basket awaited us. The bedrooms were very cozy with their own little radiators and the beds themselves were so comfortable with lovely bedlinen and pillows. We only got to use the little covered in back veranda a couple of times but it is gorgeous, and a lovely place to sit and take in the surrounding while reading a book. Thanks Sharon for a lovely weekend!

Even better than the photos!

This beach shack was simply devine! The pictures actually don’t do it justice. Sharon has decorated it so beautifully and simply and we felt instantly relaxed when we arrived. In fact we were greeted by beautiful parrots that landed on my daughter arm and she hand fed them, so lovely! We also loved the games out the back and the tranquil garden. A perfect place to stay, thanks Sharon we loved it!

Ocean view through the trees 🏄‍♂️🐋🌊

This property is amazing a real gem! So comfortable well appointed and stylish for a beach house. Sharon is prompt to reply and left us yummy thoughtful goodie's and some for our labradore too! Such a kind and thoughtful lady. We got an early checkin and late check out which made our weekend away longer and more relaxing! The back verandah is private and cute and a surprise glimpse of an uninterupted ocean view! Highly recommend! Thanks Sharon

Beautiful Surprise indeed

Belle Surprise is a generous, light-filled home with thoughtful touches, the linen is fresh and fragrant, the beds comfortable, bathroom products high quality and kitchen is superbly stocked with cooking utensils and needs, coffee, tea and condiments, including welcome treats, fresh local bread and pooch pack! The lounge areas are sun-drenched with floor to ceiling windows, romantic warm pot belly fire in the chilly evenings, and generous open spaces. Our English contingent had the best sleep in Australia over the 12 months here. Thank you Host for a sublimely relaxing experience, and we hope to come back soon.

Our house is very inviting and set up for a family get away. We have a large living area with lots of space for relaxing and plenty of room for the kids to play and adults to sit. We have a gorgeous garden that we enjoy all year round, following the sun around the house in winter and sitting in the shade for summer.
