Barefoot Cottages is a gated community located between St. Joe Beach and Port St. Joe. The community includes two swimming pools and a small fitness center. It’s in a great location between the quiet shores of St. Joe Beach and the local shops and restaurants of Port St. Joe. It’s also a great neighborhood to get outside and walk the dog and meet your neighbors, it’s also ideal for children who enjoy riding their bikes.

This 3-bedroom, single family home is located adjacent to the smaller community pool. It is also further back in the community creating a little more privacy on your vacation. It is a two-story house, but only has a few short steps to climb to access the bottom floor. Once you enter this home, the living area, kitchen and dining as well as a master bedroom are all located on the first floor. There is a large screened porch on the main level to enjoy the afternoon breeze without the aggravation of any insects. On the second floor are the other two bedrooms, both with their own private bathroom, and one with a second screened in balcony ideal for enjoying your morning cup of coffee. Just steps from the home is a community pool with restrooms and outdoor shower.

The convenience and comfort of this home combined make for a perfect place to enjoy the Forgotten Coast any time of year!

It was great!

The house and pool were great! Everything was just like the pictures. The pool is in the back yard of the house, which was also great. There was never anyone in the pool! My only complaint was checking in. Our door code we were given didn't work. I had to call the emergency number and was on hold for over 30 minutes. When someone finally answered, the call was dropped. I had to redo the entire process! They had to give us a new code, but after that, everything was great!

Fire Fest 25

We checked in on our start date and spent the night. Next day we did some fun things in PCB. Came back to the rental and got ready to go to dinner. Everywhere was packed and 2 hour waits so with small kids we decided to get some frozen pizzas and cook back at the rental. Turned the oven on and started hearing snap, crackle and pop's! The oven shorted out and started a fire in the wall. I called Pristine Properties at 6:41 pm and it went to voicemail. I hung up and called 911 at 6:42. After that call I called again and left a message explaining what is happening. Fire dept. came and shut the power off and condemned the rental. We had no where to go. An hour an a half later they finally called and apologized saying they can put us in another unit. My son, his wife and my grandchildren already left and started driving back to northeast GA. They called again the next day and I said accidents happen and that since our vacation was ruined I requested a full refund and also explained about all the food we bought that got destroyed by all the fire extinguisher dust as well as the beach equipment I rented and never go to use. They said they would call next day and never did. I tried several times to call and email and not get answers. Finally 3 days later I got an email saying they would pay me back a little over 1/2 what I paid and no food or beach rental payment. This is the worst customer service I have seen in my 67 years!.

A little piece of paradise

Everyone of us enjoyed everything about our stay here. The location was perfect for us- close to the quaint little town we love, the beautiful beach without crowds and a only a short walk or bike ride to watch the most gorgeous sunset. Just paradise! The pool was great to have on days when it was just too hot for the beach. The property managers kept in touch with us during the entire stay. The house was very clean and ready for us to enjoy when we arrived. We will surely consider returning here again!

No crowds , great local eateries and shops !!! We gave up on Destin because of the crowds and Port St Joe is terrific and we highly recommend it . We'll definitely go next year .
