Scam, Danger, and Hostility – Do Not Book!
This property is a dangerous scam. Before I even arrived, there was a serious, unresolved hot water/gas leak issue affecting my unit and the one next door. The pilot light on the water heater would not stay lit because the exhaust was installed vertically, forcing natural gas and carbon monoxide back down, extinguishing the flame and flooding the unit with unburned gas every time anyone used hot water. This was NOT caused by me—the problem existed before I checked in.Despite my repeated warnings, the hosts ignored the risk, blamed me, and tried to say my fan (which was aimed at the window, not the heater) was the cause. I was pressured to pay cash deposits and late fees off-platform, and “repairs” were fake—no real professional, just more excuses, mess, and intimidation. The host verbally abused me and threatened me on the phone and WhatsApp, while refusing to fix anything. I had to evacuate for my safety and pay double to relocate.It’s clear now this is a pattern: the hosts operate 28 rentals, ignore safety, and create false reasons to keep deposits and rent. Guests are blamed for existing problems so the hosts can scam them for extra charges. This is a trap—dangerous, dishonest, and potentially life-threatening. Avoid at all costs
