Tucson Getaway

Beautiful views! Well equipped kitchen and grill station. Close to the city and what it has to offer yet sits apart and above for spectacular views. The hosts were extremely helpful, greeting us from the start and available whenever needed.

Three college girlfriends who are turning 75 this year! The house was perfect for us, our hosts were gracious and helpful, and the views were incredible.

Views are totally amazing

The views at night and during the day are truly fantastic. The home is in a beautiful gated community and is close to everything we needed...hiking, grocery, restaurants, recreation. Linda and Jeffrey were such wonderful hosts who gave us great recommendations for the area and made us feel right at home where we felt free to enjoy the property...pool, hot tub, billiards, patio. The extras, like a welcome basket upon arrival with snacks and wine, were so appreciated after a long a day of travel. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed many meals on the covered patio overlooking the cityscape at night. Couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

Sunrise to sunset

The views from this home are unbelievable. Evening sunset or enjoying lights from Tucson. Rise to gorgeous sunrise. How can you have a bad day. Linda is such a joy. Windows with views across the entire front of home. Sit by the pool and read a book or hike great trails near by.

THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOUR TUCSON VACATION

Such a beautifully apartment ! A must choice with great space and so comfortable. Lots of tv stations and the kitchen is well equipped . There was a beautiful welcome basket of goodies. Pool and hot tub were available . The location is in a gated guarded community that's close to trail heads. Stores and tourist sites are an easy drive too. Don't give a second thought about staying here.

Wonderful view. Great hosts. Great location.

We stayed for 9 days and traveled the whole Tucson area. Unbelievable view and spacious accommodations. Easy access to everything. Everything we needed for meals, relaxing and sunrise watching. Didn’t get to use the pool because of temperatures but it made the view even better. Great place.

Fabulous Hosts Gorgeous view

Our hosts, Linda and Jeffrey couldn’t have been more accommodating to all of our needs while giving us complete privacy. The pool, patio and hot tub were beautiful, just like the pictures. The sunsets were gorgeous and the view of Tucson at night from the patio was breath taking. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.

OH MERCY, WHAT A VIEW!!!!

This is a wonderful rental. The property owners are way cool!!! The view of the City of Tucson both day and night is amazing. Clean pool and Hot tub. Great stones and sculptures adorn the pool, outdoor area. It is so pretty to sit in many different places outside and relax and enjoy the mountains. Location is in a nice country club, they let us play golf as guest members. We most definitely will return and stay at this house. Note to renters - just adults at this rental. Two is best because the third bed is a day bed. The owners do live above, we just loved them and got along great so no worries to us!!

Wonderful property and hosts

This was an ideal place to be as we explored 4 different canyon hikes in the gorgeous Catalina mountains. The desert was blooming and we easily took over 1,000 pictures of flowering cacti and birds we don't see in Minnesota. It was great to be able to swim in the very clean pool after a strenuous day of hiking! Linda and Jeff were great. We will be back!!

A Great Stay in Tucson

We were hosted by Linda and Jeffrey for 8 days, and their hospitality and their property were terrific. The views of Tucson and the mountains are grreat, and their home is located in an upscale area of Tucson that is loaded with restaurants and shopping. Linda and Jeffrey were friendly, helpful and gracious hosts; and, though they live on the second floor of the house, they assure that you have your independence and run of the property. On the other hand, they are also very responsive when you need them. The fully-equipped kitchen was perfect for us, and there was nothing better than time in the hot tub after a day of hiking. The space and creature comforts of this property make it an easy and enjoyable place to stay. We really enjoyed Tucson as well, and anticipate returning here for future visits. If you can't feel comfortable here -- well, you just can't feel comfortable anywhere!

Top of the World!

You will think you are on top of the world when you stay here! You can see all of Tucson and the surrounding mountains from the patio and from inside the house. The house is situated so that it receives sun all day. Glorious! It is located in a very exclusive, gated community with homes worth 1 to 2 million dollars. Linda and her husband are great communicators and very generous to share the produce from their garden and trees. They provided all personal soaps and cleaning products for us. Beautiful fresh flowers were on the table when we arrived! Based on the description and pictures on the site, it is difficult to understand the actual layout of the rented space. This is a two-story house. The rental area is the main level with the pool, expansive patio, pool table, and gardens. There are three rooms and two bathrooms. All rooms have sliding glass doors to the patio so you get great views no matter where you are. The kitchen is large and well equipped and has a large TV at ceiling level. You walk through a hall and pass the first bathroom. The next room is a living room/bedroom. It has a trundle king bed (not shown in the pictures here) that can be used as a sofa if you don’t need this as a bedroom. You walk down another hall and into another bedroom/living room. It has a king bed, a TV at the ceiling level, a comfortable seating area, a walk-in closet, and a bathroom. The person/s in this bedroom must walk through the other bedroom on the way to the kitchen, the one shared area. The owners live on the second floor above the two bedrooms/living rooms, so you will hear them on the floor above you. There is not a second floor above the kitchen. My sister, husband and I were here for the entire month of February, unfortunately the coldest and rainiest February on record, and could not take advantage of the patio and pool. The location is a good starting point to get to all the attractions in Tucson and beyond.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and relaxing location. The views were fabulous and it is situated in a charming golf course location. The owners were very nice and accommodating. The location is central to many restaurants and activities.

Wonderful experience better than expected

Truly the perfect Arizona Aerie!

Staying in this classy, evocative and very private 'home-on-high', you have every convenience, every comfort, all that the Southwest has to offer, plus surely the BEST VIEWS in Tucson and maybe in all of the Southwest! From Sunsets to Moonrise, mountain vistas to shimmering cityscapes, surrounded by well-kept gardens and desert flora... we haven't found a more relaxing, more magical property anywhere in the world. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful; all the joys of Tucson are close at hand; we can't wait to come back!

Property was beautifully decorated and could not be better. Large space with pool views of the City. Owners were easy to deal with and gave us geat recommendations on where to eat. Safe elegant gated community - beautifully landscaped and great for walks day or night. Spectacular house with excellent views of Tuscon and both sunrise and sunset. Clean and very spacious. Great patio/swimming pool Very personable and helpful hosts - waited to greet us when we arrived very late at night and offered assistance and support on an ongoing basis. Very private. Lots of parking and excellent bicycle storage. Full kitchen/washer/dryer/BBQ We hope to stay here on a regular basis. Highly recommended
