Great Views

Property was just what we were looking for! Easy check in and out, as well as easy communication with the owner. Cleanliness was great and so were the views. We would definitely book again!

Mountain get away

Beautiful cabin, beautiful location and very quiet vacation get away. The only issues were the view would have been amazing if the trees and brush had been cleared like they were in the listing. We were not able to see the mountains through the trees which was one of the main reasons we chose this cabin. The other reason was the hot tub on the deck but only 1 set of jets were working so that too was a disappointment. We did enjoy a few competitive games of pool which was a lot of fun!

Spacious luxurious cabin

Our stay at this cabin was a joy from start to finish. It was super clean, roomy, comfy, and well furnished. The information provided prior to check-in was complete and accurate, leaving us with no questions. The view of the freshly snow covered mountainside was magnificent. The whole experience was perfect in every way!

Beautiful cabin, beautiful location, clean and neat

The cabin was great: clean and homey just like the pictures and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The washer was broken when we got there but they ordered the parts and had it fixed by the next day. I was a little sad that I couldn't use the hot tub because of a bird nest directly over it and the birds pooping all over the cover (would have been right on me if I got in it), they said they couldn't move it if it had babies in it but as far as I could tell nobody even came to look.

Such Potential

Cabin has such potential, but fails miserably. Kitchen is not well stocked (3 dinner plates?), dishwasher door wouldn't stay closed, water pressure sub-par, bottom sheet not fitted correctly, no extra blankets or pillow cases, dark lighting and an overall feeling of uncleanliness. Not worth the price.

Photos are deceiving

I’ll start by saying the location is great if you do not mind a 15-20 min drive to gatlinburg. The bathroom has a double shower which was awesome!! The pictures they use are over saturated. The inside is very dark. The lighting in the bedroom is god awful and can barely see. There are no blinds in the living room so you feel like you are in a fish tank. We had no WiFi and the smart TV was broke when I tried to connect to my hot spot to watch Netflix. Property management was of no help. Kitchen wasn’t filthy but wasn’t clean. My wife and I did enjoy the place but lack of blinds, WiFi, slightly dirty kitchen and horrible lighting was a complete turn off.

Romantic Retreat in the Smokies

We loved the cabin, mostly. The bathroom was fabulous with a very modern shower for 2 and it also had a nice 1/2 bath. The kitchen was really nice, but did not have much lighting or dishes / silverware. The cleaning crew must have been in a rush because there was a pea on the back of the sink from a previous guest and there was a thick layer of dust on the tops of the cabinet doors. The living room area was nice and larger than expected. The deck had great views and the hot tub was nice and private. The bedroom was so dark you could not see in your suitcase without a flashlight and the bed was awful. The sheets didn't fit and came off every time you got in and we both had a back ache after 3 nights sleeping in it. The location was good, just a little way out of town. We were planning a getaway and wanted to support Gatlinburg. We were really glad we did, we had not been to Gatlinburg in a long time and really enjoyed our long weekend. The cabin was great for our needs (except the lighting, lack of kitchen items and the bed).

Anniversary Getaway

While the cabin itself was beautiful there were a few issues. We arrived on Friday after a 12 hour drive and were looking forward to a nice relaxing evening in the hot tub and enjoying the “majestic Mountain View” as advertised by the owners. However after many communications with the rental company and a repair man sent out we were told the pump was out on the hot tub and it was not operational. The rental company was told before by the maintenance manager that the hot tub need to be replaced as it was over 10 years old and there were issues with it however the rental company denied knowing there were any issues with it. Also the trees were so over grown there were NO “majestic Mountain View’s”. We were told a tree service was coming out on Monday to give an estimate for cutting some trees down which did no good for us. Very disappointed as those were the 2 main reasons for booking the cabin. When we asked about being moved to a different cabin as we had only been there a few hours we were told they didn’t have any other available cabins even though the maintenance man showed us a cabin that was available for the time of our stay. We were offered NO compensation for the issues or even a sorry that things were not as advertised. We will not rent or recommend Jackson Mountain Rentals as they do not care about the satisfaction of their guest and are only in it for the money.

Cabin itself was pristine and beautiful. Recently restained. The views would have been wonderful, and no doubt they were at one time. The south and east sides need to be cleared to bring back the views from the cabin.

Great Views

This place was amazing! The cabin was beautiful, the views were amazing! The pool table was such a great bonus for something to do when coming back from the town. Quick and close to town but far enough away you still have your privacy. All other neighbors were friendly. Will definitely be staying here again in the future

Very enjoyable

Nice location, just a few miles from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. Would definitely recommend.

Great Experience

I had a great experience with everything on this trip. The cabin was as described. Checking in and out was so easy. And the cabin was in a great location for the activities I was going to do. I loved the electronic lock to get in the cabin. Made it much easier than keeping up with a key.
