Mountain get away

Beautiful cabin, beautiful location and very quiet vacation get away. The only issues were the view would have been amazing if the trees and brush had been cleared like they were in the listing. We were not able to see the mountains through the trees which was one of the main reasons we chose this cabin. The other reason was the hot tub on the deck but only 1 set of jets were working so that too was a disappointment. We did enjoy a few competitive games of pool which was a lot of fun!

Cabin itself was pristine and beautiful. Recently restained. The views would have been wonderful, and no doubt they were at one time. The south and east sides need to be cleared to bring back the views from the cabin.

Anniversary Getaway

While the cabin itself was beautiful there were a few issues. We arrived on Friday after a 12 hour drive and were looking forward to a nice relaxing evening in the hot tub and enjoying the “majestic Mountain View” as advertised by the owners. However after many communications with the rental company and a repair man sent out we were told the pump was out on the hot tub and it was not operational. The rental company was told before by the maintenance manager that the hot tub need to be replaced as it was over 10 years old and there were issues with it however the rental company denied knowing there were any issues with it. Also the trees were so over grown there were NO “majestic Mountain View’s”. We were told a tree service was coming out on Monday to give an estimate for cutting some trees down which did no good for us. Very disappointed as those were the 2 main reasons for booking the cabin. When we asked about being moved to a different cabin as we had only been there a few hours we were told they didn’t have any other available cabins even though the maintenance man showed us a cabin that was available for the time of our stay. We were offered NO compensation for the issues or even a sorry that things were not as advertised. We will not rent or recommend Jackson Mountain Rentals as they do not care about the satisfaction of their guest and are only in it for the money.

Great Views

Property was just what we were looking for! Easy check in and out, as well as easy communication with the owner. Cleanliness was great and so were the views. We would definitely book again!

Great Views

This place was amazing! The cabin was beautiful, the views were amazing! The pool table was such a great bonus for something to do when coming back from the town. Quick and close to town but far enough away you still have your privacy. All other neighbors were friendly. Will definitely be staying here again in the future

Very enjoyable

Nice location, just a few miles from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. Would definitely recommend.

Great Experience

I had a great experience with everything on this trip. The cabin was as described. Checking in and out was so easy. And the cabin was in a great location for the activities I was going to do. I loved the electronic lock to get in the cabin. Made it much easier than keeping up with a key.

A few big issues

When we saw the pics of the place we were excited. But there is some big issues and a few smaller things needing to be addressed. One major issue is the amount of mold in the shower. It is in all the grout all in the window in the shower and all over the tile. I’m not talk a tiny spot here we are talking majority of the shower. The fan in the bathroom was extremely dusty as well. Another issue was the blinds in the bedroom are broken, meaning we could not open them so no natural light really in the room and the light in the ceiling fan was only one bulb and very yellow. The lamps in the bedroom are fire hazards with the age of the plug. The closet door is broken, the dresser drawers would not open and close without falling off the tracks and there was a layer of dust on the wall behind the bed that was causing allergy issues. A few items from previous guests were also in the room. Nothing major just papers but still. Although the couch looks great in the pics, in person it is ripping on the seats. The thermostat is really wonky on temp but we were able to manage that. The view is nice with the windows. They did provide soap for dishes and two towels and two wash cloths. Over all we were not in the cabin very much so it was manageable for us but I will say we will not be staying with this rental company again. Not feeling comfortable to do a basic need like shower is not ok in my book.

Weekend stay

The cabin was nice. We had a few concerns however, mildew in the shower, broken hot tub jet kept coming out and floating in the water. The television/cable in the bedroom did not work. The WiFi also did not show as listed on the link for the property so there was no way to connect to secure wifi. The king size bed had three very flat small pillows… the view was nice and we enjoyed the car port.

Photos are deceiving

I’ll start by saying the location is great if you do not mind a 15-20 min drive to gatlinburg. The bathroom has a double shower which was awesome!! The pictures they use are over saturated. The inside is very dark. The lighting in the bedroom is god awful and can barely see. There are no blinds in the living room so you feel like you are in a fish tank. We had no WiFi and the smart TV was broke when I tried to connect to my hot spot to watch Netflix. Property management was of no help. Kitchen wasn’t filthy but wasn’t clean. My wife and I did enjoy the place but lack of blinds, WiFi, slightly dirty kitchen and horrible lighting was a complete turn off.
