Home was pretty and great location. But, the bed linens had bugs all over them in 2 of the bedrooms. My mother had to vacuum the rooms and wash all the bed linens. Flying ants and spiders were a constant battle all week. On walls, floors, shower and sinks. There has to be some sort of infestation upstairs. We communicated this to the agent but there didn't see to be much concern. We left the home in better condition then when we arrived. We sprayed for bugs and cleaned. Its a shame because its a pretty home.

We are sorry to hear that this impacted your stay, as we always want our guests to feel comfortable and well cared for. We did receive a message four days into the stay regarding bugs in the basement sleeping area, along with a concern about the patio umbrella. A replacement umbrella was delivered the following day. Regarding the cleaning concern, we confirmed that the home had been professionally cleaned prior to arrival and offered to send the cleaners back to address anything that may have been missed. That offer was sent through both our messaging system and the VRBO platform, but we did not receive a reply. Our rental agreement asks guests to report any concerns within 24 hours of arrival so we have the opportunity to make things right as quickly as possible. Even though this was reported several days into the stay, we would still have gladly sent the cleaning team back right away. After the stay, our team also noted that the skylight was open and it is located near an exterior floodlight. Open windows or screens near exterior lighting can unfortunately invite bugs inside, especially during this time of year. That said, we understand how frustrating this must have been and appreciate the opportunity to review and address it. We regret that you felt there was a lack of concern, as we did respond the same day through both communication channels. In hindsight, we should have followed up again when we did not hear back. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve our communication and guest experience going forward.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. It sure has been one of those overly humid summers. The owners have added a dehumidifier to the basement for comfort and climate control. We hope to see you again next summer!

One of the upstairs bedroom had MANY flying insects, so much that our grandkids refused to sleep there. The bedroom in the basement had a broken window and frogs came in so the kids wouldn't sleep there either. That left us with a house that was advertised to be a 4 bedroom home with two bedrooms. The local realtors worked with us and were very responsive to remedy the issues but nature won. they settled on giving us a financial recovery

Hello Judy, Thank you for your feedback. We discovered that there was an open window with no screen that was allowing the bugs to come in. The basement window that was broken by a landscaper has since been replaced. We are so glad you were happy with the service you received from our team. Responding to guest issues is our top priority. We hope to welcome you to one of our properties again in the future!

Kick Off to our Summer Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family's overall stay at this property was amazing. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. The back deck was great to hang out on in the mornings drinking our coffee before starting our day. Corporation beach is about 2.5 miles away from the home and where we spent most of our days. The rental management was very helpful when we had an issue with the stove. The location of this house is in a residential neighborhood with other beautiful homes. We loved how it was set way back off of the main road. It was so peaceful. A great plus for us was that we were able to take our two small dogs with us who also loved hanging out on the back deck with us.

Excellent stay. Large, comfortable house that was beautifully appointed. Lovely neighborhood. Drawback to furnish own linen and towels Third bedroom would have more room with full size bed instead of twins. Nice to have extra sleeping room in finished basement, very pleased!

February break

Overall a great stay! The place is beautiful! Great views of the pond, wish there was a walking path closer to pond. Only complaint was when we arrived the garbage can outside was full to the brim with someone else's garbage. The entire stay the garbage was never picked up even though it states there is garbage pick up 2xs per week. Old sock was also left on the bed.

Overall very nice house

Newly renovated home. Kitchen was beautiful but lacked storage for food that didn’t need refrigeration. No pantry space. Furniture was beautiful and functional. Two bedrooms without air conditioning were very hot and stuffy at night. Main bedroom had wall AC. Other two bedrooms could use window AC units. Overall, very nice stay.

Great Stay

We loved the location and the property. So aesthetically pleasing and so pretty to wake up to in the morning! Only thing that was tough was (and this will sound so silly) the vacuum provided...as a mom of three small kids the one that was there just wasn't powerful enough. But all aspects, probably the best rental we've stayed at in the last 6 years! Thank you!!
