Love the location! You can sit on the balcony and watch dolphins swim by. Property was clean and comfortable, the mattress in the master bedroom was the best we ever had in a rental.

We had a beautiful stay.While staying there we saw dolphins in the bay at night. Over all we enjoyed our stay and we would definitely stay again.

The townhouse was amazing ....clean comfortable amazing views of the channel...dolphins playing seagulls flying herons fishing ....amazing beds kitchen fully stocked just a lovely vacation....would recommend to anyone seeking a vacation to remember.

Water’s Edge was one of the best Home Away from Homes I’ve stayed in! It was PRISTINE…. everything you could need in a kitchen….comfy….and great views of the bay. I even got to watch dolphins swim by while I ate breakfast out on one of the balconies! Will definitely book again next year!

Great views & good location

Chincoteague island was lovely and the townhouse was close to everything while still very quiet. There were some fruit flies when we first arrived but other than that our stay was great and the views of the water were amazing.

Great Time on Marsh Island!

This property is fantastic! There was plenty of room for 5 adults and we loved the location on the channel. We cooked all of our meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. I would stay here again.

Nice home, good location

We had a great stay at this property on Marsh Island Good location, only 7 mins to the beach and 5 mins to Main Street. Very good view of the the small town Chincoteague over the water. We will definitely book again

Spacious, clean, easily accessible, great views

Stayed here with a group of friends for 2 nights. The pictures undersell how much space and how nice this house is. You even have a 2-car garage, plus a parking space. Overall great for a few night's stay and good for family/friend groups.

Stayed for a long weekend with our two young kids. The property was well-maintained and laid out perfectly for a rental! Our kids loved the board games, and the Foosball and Air Hockey in the garage. The kitchen was spacious and equipped with everything we needed. The fridge did need a new filter, but Seaside Vacations was quick to respond and sent maintenance the same day to replace it. The bathroom finishes are lovely, and the views in all directions are unmatched! The washing machine was mildewy, which was not ideal for washing our things, but the rest of the property was very clean! The listing describes Marsh Island as a quiet get-away minutes from Chincoteague, which was part of the appeal to us. Unfortunately, there was very loud music coming from across the water until 10pm each night, making bedtime for our kids challenging. The light on Maddox Blvd is the one way on and off Chincoteague from Marsh Island and it got very backed up, so our drives from Assateague and downtown were longer than we hoped (granted, this could be due to heavy Labor Day weekend traffic). The spigot out back was not turned on or fitted with a hose, so we were not able to rinse off after the beach, as we had expected. All in all, without littles in tow, this home would be a better fit. Though we would not rent again anytime soon due to the ages of our kids, we recommend it highly for it's cleanliness, comfy furnishings, lovely finishes, incredible views, and ease of the whole rental process!

Excellent property and location

Our week long stay in Chincoteague was absolutely perfect and I am so glad we stayed here. The house was wonderful - well equipped kitchen, spacious living/dining area and the views were outstanding. We are looking for our dates for next year!
