Folks trust me don't do it. For Christmas/New Years we paid over $20K for this rental. As we drove down the road on the first day we were so excited as we were passing unbelievable homes. When we pulled up, we were let down, but were still excited. Then we went inside and realized that this home, outside of the kitchen, hasn't been updated since 1988 when this house was built. Here is a list I kept: driveway heater to melt snow didn't work correctly and kept tripping breaker to the heat. Speaking of heat, good luck figuring out the baseboard heating and decades old thermostats everywhere. Living room furniture older than dirt and one of the couches didn't have cushions on the back. In VRBO photos it shows two leather couches. There is only one and the other couch doesn't have the back cushions. Dryer was awful, and venting hot air into the basement level. We found a slice of pizza in the lamp shade in one of the bedrooms. Master bathroom faucet was about to come off. Lower level smoke alarm dangling from the ceiling. Only TVs in the master and main floor had cable, the other rooms had tv's, but didn't have cable and didn't mirror your phone: why bother. The cable did not work upon arrival and that was fixed, but broke again which I handled myself with comcast. The deck was not shoveled so getting to the hot tub was not possible: but management company did come out once to shovel on the first day after being called. The guy was nice enough to leave a shovel after being tipped $20. Speaking of hot tub, it was so small no more than 2 adults can fit in there comfortably. Everything was old: bedding, pillows, furniture, carpet, hot tub...everything. Vail Management should be ashamed for putting their name on this house as should VRBO; especially at the outrageous price charged. Lastly, you need to be prepared to walk. Posting says 900ft to slopes. Its a 1/4 mile uphill making it awful walking that in ski boots and carrying ski's. #ripped
