Enjoy a true cottage experience on a gorgeous 1.5 acre wooded island in a secluded inlet on Lake Manitouwabing near Parry Sound. Master bedroom, Loft and Kitchen, 3 Piece Bathroom, Living Room, Screened In Porch and Bunkie. Sun Deck faces east/south/west. Fire Pit Deck faces west. Bunkie faces East. Propane and Solar powered. A 200 yard (1 minute) commute to island from the private parking area. A 19’ Luxury Pontoon Boat (not pictured) is available for rental at an additional $300 per day based on a 7 day period.

Absolutely Beautiful

It was a magical week. If you enjoy quiet and being surrounded by water and nature, this is the place for you. Greg and Anne were such wonderful hosts.

As advertised. The owners were very accommodating. The kids really enjoyed having thier own space in what we called the “the kids cabin”. Our dog probably enjoyed the island the most having the ability to roam freely. Would highly recommend for a family looking for privacy, peace, and time together. Parry Sound was about a 25min drive away if you needed something else to do for a day but we spent most days boating, swimming, fishing, and just relaxing on the dock.

If you are looking for a place to relax and get away from it all, this is the cottage for you. We’ve never had a dock the had sun on it all day long, which was fantastic, and it also had an umbrella for some shade. There are 2 other docks that have more shade. Only issue with this location is the internet reception, which isn’t good, but once you are out on the water you can easily get back online. Greg was excellent to deal with and responded quickly with all communication.

Paradise on Lake Manitouabing

Breathtaking views, beautiful cottage/ lodging, fishing amazing with lots wildlife to enjoy. The peace and privacy was wonderful and our hosts and hospitality from Greg & Ann was exceptional. We look forward to visiting again next year.

A diamond in the rough

Fantastic location - if you’re looking for a break from the madness and some fantastic quiet R&R this is the perfect spot. Great hosts, a dream of an island property. The solar and propane were more than manageable.

Peaceful Island Retreat

Our Family had a wonderful Time at Fergies Island Paradise! The cottage was as advertised and was set on a beautiful private island. Boat access was super easy and having a place to park the boat close to the car was great for any activities which required a car. Living off the grid for a week was also a great new experience as the cottage runs on Propane and solar power only. My daughter of 6 years had a great time swimming off the dock and roasting marshmallows by the campfire while watching the beautiful sunsets. Greg was super easy to communicate with and always gave a quick response to any questions. If you’re up for a unique island experience, this is the place for you! Thanks Fergusons!
