Family stay

We really enjoyed our stay. We spent the weekend with family for our 2 year olds birthday. This lodge is so spacious and is full of so many fun things. We will definitely be staying here again!

Beautiful mountain stay!

We came to ride the Polar Express but spent most of our time in the cabin with my parents, my husband and our children. Between the hot tub, cotton candy machine, snow cone maker and games and toys we had the best time! The highlight was the sprinkling of snow flurries we saw when we first arrived. Thanks for helping us make beautiful memories!

Family Weekend

Overall a great stay! The house was perfect for our needs. The games and hot tub were enjoyed by all. The driveway was well marked which was appreciated in the dark. Close enough to Franklin but far enough out as well. Cell service was reliable and internet in the house was good. The kitchen has everything you need. We will definitely keep this place in mind for next year.

Fun for the whole family

This was our second time coming and I can't wait to be able to come back! Everyone had such a great time playing all the games, enjoying the hot tub, playing pool. I'm really impressed with the added touches like cotton candy machine and s'mores, as well as wood in the wood shed! They definitely go over and beyond to make sure you have everything that you need and that the place is fully stocked.

This cabin was perfect for our youth group from Berlin Baptist Church.

There were so many things to do on our weekend trip to Joshuas Lodge without leaving the property. Pool table, foosball, books, Nerf darts. On top of that they already had treats ready for us.

Fantastic stay, don't miss out!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. A beautiful home with plenty of room and fun things to do for everyone. The adults were able to relax by the fire pit and fireplace while the kids enjoyed the hot tub, fuseball and pool table. The bedrooms were large and very comfortable and our kids loved the train station inspired bunk bed room. Our only regret is that we were not able to stay a few days longer!

Love this House!

This house is such a fun place to stay. The owners have gone to such pains to make it a one of a kind vacation home that any family will love! There are too many details to describe. Our family enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. The owner even provides ingredients so you can make s'mores, popcorn, snow cones, and much more.

Great Big Family Vacation

This place is perfect for all age group families. Plenty of games and things to do. We even saw a cemetery in the property. The only flaw to this property was their were small roaches in the 2nd floor kitchen, a stained toilet, stained shower curtains and one of the mattresses had dips in it. But overall ignoring these tiny issues it was a perfect stay.

It's all there!!

Joshua's Lodge had all we needed for a relaxing, fun family/friend/pooches time! Tami anticipated any and every detail wonderfullly!! Such a perfect place to gather. Downstairs caters to kids, and upstairs for the more mature vacationers. :)

We absolutely loved the cabin! They went over and beyond to truly welcome us! Our grandkids loved the playrooms, snow cone machine, and the hot tub! We even ended the night making 9smores! Everything was provided for us. We even had a surprise gift in the basket waiting on our furbaby! We are extremely grateful and had an amazing time at the cabin. We will definitely come back in the future!

The perfect spot for family fun!

Our extended family of 8 spent a week at Joshua's lodge and absolutely loved it. The two living areas on two levels were perfect for us. Fun and games downstairs and reading and watching nature on the upper floor. We loved having a dining table to fit the whole family. Denny was lovely to work with and quickly responded to every question. One very nice touch, the master bedroom has room darkening drapes which were easy to pull back during the day. The house is just as advertised, all eight members of our family would say YES to another visit.

Most Amazing Big Family Vacation

We had 15 people in our crew. There was plenty of room to sleep. Plenty of games. Plenty of seating during dinner. The owners thought of everything all the way down to the small details. You literally only need to bring your clothes and food. The kids loved all the cute snack machines. We had popcorn. Cotton candy amd smores by the fire. And they snuck some of the candy in the jars. The owners even brought over a baby gate for us to use during our trip. We will come back again for sure.

Beautiful well appointed home.

Wonderful property. Incredibly well furnished. Two updates to note (different from listing), Gas grill is now a charcoal barrel style grill. They include a chimney starter and a bag of charcoal. Main floor wood fireplace is now a propane gas fireplace. Home was well furnished. Just show up with food and clothes. Fire pit was nice. Loads of room. Lots to do. Very steep gravel driveway and parking areas were quite a challenge for mobility impaired- but not impossible. No handrails, trip issues and unusual entry step heights were also a struggle outside. Had a great stay. Would definitely recommend.

Family Vacation Get Away

Joshua’s Lodge was the perfect vacation house for our family of 15 getaway. They really go above and beyond to make sure the guests feel welcome. The kids loved the Cotton Candy maker. Fire pit was awesome we had s’mores. They even supplied everything needed for the s’mores. We definitely enjoyed our stay very quiet and away from all the hustle and bustle. We highly recommend Joshua’s Lodge for your family getaway. We will be back!

Family get away

My family enjoyed staying in this cabin for multiple reasons. Staying up late playing pool and various games that were supplied, relaxing in the hot tub or on the swing and watch the scenery which was amazing and we were able to disconnect from everything and enjoy each other’s company. We were close to great restaurants and shopping, the locals were super friendly. This cabin was so spacious inside and had so many perks for everyone to enjoy we didn’t even get to try everything. The property manager Dennie was an absolute gem. He made sure we were checked in okay and he was kind enough to answer a few questions about the area. We will be back to this cabin for another adventure.

Fun for all

We had a great time from start to finish. Joshua’s Lodge was an excellent spot for our Girl Scout troop to stay. The girls loved all the amenities like the snow cone maker, cotton candy maker, ice cream maker and popcorn popper. There was plenty of room for all and having space to spread out was very nice. We enjoyed a nice cookout and bonfire one night. The girls loved hanging in the hot tub and playing pool. We appreciate everything provided like the firewood, cotton candy sugars, coffee bar, and welcome basket. So many wonderful touches to make the trip extra special. Thank you!

Perfect 3 day getaway

My wife and a few of my friends decided to meet up and spend 3 days together just to catch up on life. We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of the lodge and how spacious it was. It had anything and everything we could have wanted or needed. I don’t think the pictures listed show just how big it really is. There were printed instructions all around the house explaining how things worked and where everything was located. We grilled and enjoyed the fire pit along with the hot tub. I will definitely be coming back to stay.

Family get away

We took a weekend trip to the mountains just to hang out and relax. There were plenty of toys and games for the children to play while the adults could shoot pool or watch tv. We all enjoyed the cotton candy machine, popcorn and especially the Hot Tub!!!
