Good place for races

Plenty of spots to sleep and close to races. Great neighborhood. Would recommend for a race weekend.

getaway to Hot Springs, AR

House was large to accommodate our Family. In close range to the down town district and all the sites and land marks. The kid enjoyed the inground pool. Would stay there again. The house does need a little TLC. Other than that is was a great place to stay.

This house could use some updating but was sufficient for our trip. We wanted to just relax and swim with our kids and we were able to do just that!

The house was large for our large family, in a good location but we were disappointed that the heated pool was not only not heated but not able to use. The house is very outdated except for the large family room! It could use a good deep cleaning also!

Needs a clean

The house is a great size but definitely needs a good clean. The dishwasher had dirty dishes in it from previous guests. We never could find the binder that is supposed to give you all the instructions for check in and check out, along with WiFi information. When we talked to the property contact, he didn’t really say much. Tried to say the cleaners probably rushed since we arrived early, however we arrived 4 hours after check in time. Other than that, the house was in a nice neighborhood and was nice that it had a pool.

Few kinks to fix, but nice stay

Overall a good stay. Lots of things not working. Lights and fans in particular. Back door doesn’t lock at all going out to pool. You can push the doors open Pool was very dirty but there was a skimmer left there so we cleaned it. No lights around pool that worked. New shower heads is a must. Everything else was decent.

Great Family Vacation

We booked this for our annual family vacation and we had a great time! The house is huge and there was space for us to spread out and do our own thing, but it also has an amazing great room area where we all kind of centralized to hang out. The kids loved the pool and were in it almost every day. The backyard was the next most popular spot, our teenagers loved hanging out in the gazebo by the pool. The location is pretty central to all of the activities and sightseeing we had planned, with everything being pretty much just a few minutes from the property. There were a few small upkeep things that we noticed such as a broken tile in the bathroom and the locks being finicky on the doors to the pool. But we just pointed them out to the property manager, and they didn't hinder our vacation at all. Thank you!

Neat property but needs some TLC

This property could be amazing but it needs some TLC. The cleanliness of it could be improved a lot. We also had issues with the doors to the pool not being able to lock. We just rigged something up but felt this should not have been an issue we needed to deal with. The area just had some hail storms and the pool was not clean. I called the host and he had someone there the next day to clean it. We appreciated the promptness of his response.

Interesting home - but just not clean…

The house was a neat mix of old and new, and the pool was great. Second living was a nice hang out room, and location was convenient to pick up food from around town. That said, if cleanliness is next to Godliness, than let’s just say this place could use some trips to church! Floors (just dirty but also with dust bunnies throughout - we wore socks inside and they were black by end of trip), showers (hair in drains and on walls), fridge (old bits of cheese / food still in it), all hadn’t been cleaned or wiped down before arrival. Several lights were burnt out, air filter (the grate popped open) looked like it hadn’t been changed in at least a year, loose toilet seats, couch pillows with the stuffing leaking out, just all combined to provide a less than clean feel. Nothing that rose to the level of completely unacceptable, but also not what you would expect at this price point.

Disappointed

The property is run through another company Evolve which I had to log into to see how to check in and out and communicate with the owner. I had problems with getting the Evolve database working. I had tried to message the owner through the VRBO app which got me no response ever. There was no instruction book as described on the Evolve website to explain the procedures/rules of the house. One of the bedroom's beds was unmade when we arrived and the owner did come and make up the bed but the sheets smelled of different shampoos so I am unconvinced that they were clean. There were problems with one of the upstairs bathroom showers. Only one towel was in each bathroom for a home that sleeps 12. We had problems with the heat. They sent someone out to work on it and said it was working. It was not working when we returned hours later and they again sent a repair man. He called the owner who showed up on site, but left without talking to us. The repairman came and told us the heat would not be working for the remainder of our stay. It was 60 degrees in the bedroom I stayed in and 62 downstairs. The owner made no attempt to rectify this problem or any contact to update us on the status.

Not ready for guests / unpleasant experience

I pray all of these issues are taken into serious consideration before the house is rented it out in the future! The house needs to be checked for mold. Every single one of us felt like there was mold in the air. We were blowing our noses and it was brown/black sticky stuff. All of us felt sluggish, congested, and eyes were red when in the house. Then as soon as we were out and about, we felt better. There was an extreme amount of dirt and dust - the place was not cleaned very well at all. Feet were black by walking around the house. The bathroom mats were gross (had clearly not been washed). The master bed had pillow cases that had white crust on them. The master bathroom shower curtain was way too short, so water would go all over the floor. The plastic curtain would also blow into the shower and impede on your small space and stick to your skin. Felt like a battle to take a shower - extremely unpleasant experience! I had to put three towels down every time we showered and all the towels were drenched. The toilet seat is not on properly, so men/boys cannot put up the seat unless they hold it up. Also, when you sit on it the top will hit you in the back. All the beds upstairs were so loud that every time you'd move or shift around during the night, they would squeak or thump. There's no where to store clothes except on the closet racks, yet there weren't any hangers until we requested some. There's nothing (utensils, bowls, plates, cups, pots and pans) in the kitchen with the working fridge, so we had to go back and forth a TON from kitchen to kitchen. There is not a trashcan in the kitchen with the working fridge either. No paper towels until we requested those, or dish wash detergent, laundry detergent, any cleaning supplies for that matter. The other upstairs bathroom shower is broken and guests weren't able to use the shower until they rigged up the shower hose (which hung very low). Couches are old, rugged, and dirty - we didn't even like sitting on them. Television in front living room was not even connected (so it's just for looks). Pots and pans that were there were a health risk if used by anyone, so we had to request new ones to cook anything. And the toilet seat in the downstairs bathroom is not the same size as the toilet. It’s too small. Basically, the house is not ready to be rented out in its current state. Needs a lot of attention.

Nice house with lots of room for everyone

We enjoyed the stay. The yard could’ve used a little cleaning up. The pool water was cold and the lights or the heater didn’t work. The chairs on by the pool were broken. The inside was really nice with a lot of room for all the only issues we had was the refrigerator in one of the kitchens didn’t work and that was the new part where we did most of the cooking bc that where all the kitchen pans and everything was. The other kitchen didn’t have any thing in there as far as pots,pans, and silverware. So we had to put our cold food in one kitchen and cook in the other. Overall I would stay again. The host was very easy to get ahold of and came immediately when I had an issue. The tv also in the living room didn’t work so a little inconvenient

This was the perfect get-away. The house was gorgeous and clean. The pool was fabulous. Plenty of space for all to enjoy, and the duel kitchens were a dream.

Great pool

Property was not cleaned very well. Dish towels were old and stained. Sheets on bed didn't match and were old. There was not any dish soap or dish washer soap. One TV didn't work. The padlock door going out to the pool kept popping open due to the wind. We enjoyed the vacation despite these minor things but wanted to let you know for future guests.

It was my sister's and granny bday 82,47,44 we enjoyed ourselves house was beautiful and very clean we wished the pool was available to us but it wasn't ready overall we enjoyed ourselves.

Lovely location

The home was very nice. My family enjoyed our stay and most likely reserve this rental again. We would hope on the next reservation that the pool be clean, our goal was to enjoy the home, the sites, and the pool. We were slightly disappointed that the pool was not ready for swimming as this was the primary reason for booking this location. The reservation team was available and knowledgeable. The reservation process was quick and easy. Overall it was a nice, socially distance vacation location. The home was clean and very beautiful.
