Hopetoun Haven

Our recently completed home is situated on a 5 acre bush block 5kms from Hopetoun. It truly is a 'getaway' place, where you can leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind you. It's just a few minutes walk from pristine beaches and a few minutes drive from the Fitzgerald River National Park (a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve).

We have two bedrooms with very comfortable queen-size beds. The main bedroom is upstairs, with an ensuite bathroom, walk-in-robe and balcony (with a view out over the surrounding native bushland, and East Mt Barren). There is a very small third bedroom with bunk beds - suitable only for young children, and there is a second bathroom downstairs.

The house is fully self-contained for your stay, with stove, microwave, fridge, cooking utensils and basic pantry items. Linen and towels are provided and a washing machine is available. Free WiFi is available at the house (with Netflix and Chromecast). We also have a super-toasty wood burner for those chilly winter months.

Please note: two security cameras are located on site. One is located at the front of the house; facing away from the house, toward the driveway. The second is attached to the shed, facing down on to the parking area.

A lovely family friendly place to stay to get away from it all. Lots of space for the (older) kids to roam and games to play, the kids did not want to leave. It is very close to everything that Hopetoun and the Fitzgerald River National Park has to offer, which makes it great base for outdoor activities. Morning coffee on the balcony watching the sunrise was a personal favourite and had the weather been more favourable, I'm pretty sure the evenings would have been spent there watching the stars too. The place was very clean and well equipped and communication with Geraldine was excellent and helpful. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Peaceful Getaway

Hopetoun Haven provided a peaceful escape from the busyness of everyday life. It is a perfect location for nature lovers, with the ocean beach within walking distance and a beautiful National Park a short drive away. We loved our stay at Hopetoun Haven.

Hopetoun Hideaway

A delightful 3-day stay in a beautifully home situated near the beach (via bush walk trail) and easy access to the Fitz Nat Park. The house is uncommonly clean and well-organised, beautifully appointed, super comfy beds, and the host was friendly and available via text and phone. Can't recommend this property enough; it was superb all around.

Lovely place to stay

This is such a lovely place to stay and we felt very fortunate to have come across it. Geraldine and Max have put a lot of thought into the house. Comfortable beds, great shower, lovely outside sitting area, fully equipped kitchen; it feels like a home away from home. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area and would love to stay again if we are back in Australia.

A beautiful house in a fabulous location. Great host. Hopetoun has all the facilities you need and beautiful beaches. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have recommended it to family and friends. Ravensthorpe Wildflower Show and activities were amazing.

This house was perfect as a base for a few days hiking in the Fitzgerald National Park. It was spotlessly clean, well set up and beautifully quiet. The queen beds were super comfortable and the third bedroom, although small, was still completely adequate. A lovely 750m walk down to the beach where we saw seals hunting just off the water's edge. The wildflowers were in full bloom and we felt like we had the entire area to ourselves.Excellent communication with the host in the lead up to our stay. We would definitely book again.

Beautiful and peaceful

We absolutely loved our stay. The house was very clean. Beds are super comfy. Location is great. Lots of games available in the house that kept us entertained. Hopetoun is a great place especially if your like nature and want to explore Fitzgerald River NP. Would highly recommend this place and hope to come back soon.

Peace and Tranquility

Geraldine’s property was beautiful and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing week in Hopetoun! Loved waking up to the sound of birds and cosying up by the fire of an evening. Property is surrounded by beautiful bushland and is in the perfect spot to gaze at the stars on Crystal clear nights we were lucky enough to experience. Would highly recommend.

Had a wonderful 5 nights at Hopetoun. Very comfortable and warm house with everything we needed, beds really comfy. We appreciated the wine, honey & chokkies. We enjoyed walking parts of the Hakea trail and also climbing east Mt Barren. Would definitely stay here again. Thankyou!!

This is an incredibly well put together and maintained home. I could not fault it I tried. The location was secluded and the peace and quiet delightful. I can't recommend it more highly. If I can get a booking once people realise how good it is..I'll be back

This place is absolute heaven! The hosts are amazing and generous. The house is a welcoming home filled with love and packed with everything you need. The location is perfect with a walking trail to the beach and a short drive to the National Park. We highly recommend this and will be back soon.

Loved it so much that we extended our stay

Hopetoun Haven is a beautifully presented holiday home. The home is a wonderful coastal getaway with close access to the wonderful Fitzgerald River National Park. We initially booked for 5 days and were lucky enough to have our stay extended by an additional day.

The complete checkin, checkout process with this property is first class. The property itself is indeed, five star. It is beautiful and immaculate inside. Geraldine even supplied wine, homemade honey and chocolates for us which were all yummy! We could not recommend this property highly enough.
