Pros: spacious, beautiful new property, great walking score, very comfy beds. Great communication from host! Cons: could use warmer lighting vs bright spot lights. Cleaners may need some re-training- dirty kleenex left in bedroom, spotlight in bathroom very dusty, dip the shower curtain in bleach, Overall, we enjoyed the stay.

Absolutely perfect.

I don’t know if this host has other properties in Whitehorse or not but if he does, I’m sure it will be just as wonderful as this one. The unit we had was spotlessly clean, the beds were very comfortable, it was just as advertised, conveniently located with a major grocery store, drug store, and many restaurants within easy walking distance. The unit was practically brand new, spacious and welcoming. The host was responsive. I would absolutely stay here again and not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family.

Basketball Weekend

So we came up for a Basketball Tournament and this was the place we booked for our stay. Was pretty easy to find (using my phone) and had great parking, I only had an issue of getting in the front door for a second. I didn't know I had to kind of push hard to open it, once I figured that out things were great. Nice set up in the house, was nice that we both had our own bathroom/shower and was awesome to have the chance to do our laundry each night. This was a Great Find and we hope to get to stay here again in the Future

Great place, great location

I traveled to Whitehorse with my 92-year-old mother to visit my son. This place was perfect for our week-long stay. It was very accessible for my mother. I appreciated having separate washrooms. The kitchen was well equipped, so we could make meals and have my son eat dinner with us. We packed light, so it was nice having a washer and dryer. Everything was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Everything was in order. I didn't really need to communicate with the owner. The location is just a 10 or 15-minute walk from the downtown area with lots of restaurants nearby. I'd recommend this place, especially if you have an extended stay.

Confused

This was not the property that we booked. It was a totally different address. Even thought it was very nice I would have liked to be informed prior. We did not get any instructions for checking out so I hope we left the property to the satisfaction of the owner

Untrustworthy

DO NOT TRUST THIS HOST. We reserved this property in early September. Tried to communicate with host 2 days prior to our arrival. No response. Contacted VRBO who got him to respond. Boilerplate response. Host informed us of arrival process at midnight, the day of our arrival, for a different property than what we had reserved. No discussion. No explanation. Contacted VRBO to inform them of situation. Host then offered us a unit on the floor above the one we had originally booked. Come to your own conclusion as to why the host could not deliver our original booking. In both alternate offerings no pictures or links were supplied. So we had no idea what was being offered. On the positive side VRBO was very helpful and gave us a full refund. DO NOT TRUST THIS HOST.

Whitehorse

This stay seemed unwelcoming. The unit we stayed in was not the unit we reserved. We had a dishwasher, but no dishwasher soap. We stayed 3 nights and had one kitchen towel and no paper towels. There was a coin operated washer and dryer, but for the amount we paid to stay three nights a load of laundry shouldn’t have cost extra. The thermostat was in a locked cage and not accessible from the unit. There was trash in the kitchen cabinets and the kitchen trash can was filthy. There was a sign warning about being charged extra for Wi-Fi usage. The unit we stayed in was on the second floor and it was uncomfortably warm the entire time. I had a question a few weeks before our stay and it took our host about a week to respond, but I also had a question once we checked in and he responded right away. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom towels were worn and the shower was good.

Cook st Townhouse

This wasn’t the location that we stayed at. The owner has multiple rentals and shortly before our arrival our location was changed. I cannot comment specifically to this unit but the location that we stayed at was new and clean. Four of us spent 5 days in Whitehorse and this was a great way to spend the vacation. My only complaint would be that the kitchen lacked basic cooking necessities, such as a can opener, a wine opener, grater, extra cleaning linens. Overall a good stay

We had a wonderful time during our stay in Whitehorse and our accommodation played a big role in that. It was like we were living in our own home, with all of the conveniences needed for daily life. The location made it possible for us to get out to all of the is sights and shopping easily and in little time. The owner, Anson, was there immediately after each snowfall to make sure the parking area was cleared to we never had any difficulty getting the car out. Anson is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and happy to offer advice. If we travel to Whitehorse in the future, we will definitely book here again!

Pleasurable stay

Great location for an early morning hike in nature. Well equipped. After a long day at work I enjoyed the comfortable couch, watching TV. The landlord was vey helpful when my vehicle did not want to start and connected a charger to the battery.
