Set directly opposite Blackpool Bay and within easy walking distance of Oneroa Village, Blackpool Bayside is a three-bedroom home with a private outdoor spa, gas fireplace, heat pump and two living areas. Sleeping up to 8 guests, with a maximum of 6 adults, it has three queen bedrooms, two bathrooms, a double sofa bed and off-street parking.



The Space:

Blackpool Bayside sits on The Esplanade directly opposite Blackpool Bay, with views towards the water and an easy walk into Oneroa Village.



The main level centres around an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. Floor-to-ceiling glass brings natural light into the room and keeps the living space connected with the bay outside. The main lounge also has a gas fireplace, making this a comfortable space during the cooler months.



The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals at home, with the dining and lounge areas alongside it for relaxed group living. A heat pump is also provided to keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer months



A second separate lounge provides another space to spread out and includes a double sofa bed for additional guests.

Please note that the upstairs bedrooms are accessed by a narrow, fairly steep staircase.

Outside, guests have a deck and garden area as well as a private outdoor spa. Blackpool Bay is directly across the road, making it easy to head down to the shoreline before returning to relax at the house.



Off-street parking is available at the property.



Guest Access:

You’ll have full access to the entire property.

Check-in is from 2:00pm, and check-out is 10:30am.



Early check-ins and late check-outs are available for an additional fee. These depend on whether the property has a back-to-back booking; we’ll confirm closer to your stay. Off-street parking is available.



The Neighborhood:

Blackpool Bayside is located on The Esplanade in Blackpool, directly across the road from Blackpool Bay and within walking distance of Oneroa Village.



Oneroa has a good selection of cafés, restaurants, shops and bars. Café options include Akito Café and Wai Kitchen, while Solar Eating House and The Ocean View Kitchen and Bar are options for lunch or casual dining.



For dinner, Fenice serves Italian favourites including pizza and pasta, while The Courtyard is tucked just off the main village strip with a garden-bar setting and Italian-influenced menu.



Several Waiheke vineyards are also within easy reach. Mudbrick Vineyard and Cable Bay Vineyards are both a short drive from the property, while The Heke offers wood-fired food, craft beer and outdoor dining.



Getting Around:

The nearest bus stop is a short walk away in central Oneroa. Buses run to all major parts of the island, and they stop outside every major winery, including Cable Bay, Mudbrick, and those in the Onetangi Valley.



Taxis, hire cars, scooters, and e-bikes are available across Waiheke. If you’re arriving by ferry, Matiatia is only a few minutes away, keeping travel simple.

This property accommodates a maximum of 8 guests, with no more than 6 adults.



This is a self-catered holiday home. We provide a starter supply of essentials such as toilet paper, coffee, tea and milk to help you settle in on arrival. Once these starter items have been used, guests are responsible for purchasing any additional supplies required during their stay.



Beach towels are provided.



The property uses rainwater tanks, as do many homes on Waiheke Island. Please use water thoughtfully during your stay.
